Was excited to see Elite 25 instock, finally going to get Rollins and Ambrose....then I saw the price. $39.99!!! Come on, I get Ringside and Mattel or whoever needs to make some money, but that is too much. Glad they are out, and glad if you are getting them, that you guys are excited about it, but $80 bucks before shipping for two WWE figures, insane. I'll wait till they drop in price or come out in retail stores. You could have preordered for $29.99 a piece AND the RSC discount after that to save another 10%. I ended up paying $61.39 to have it shipped to my house 2.5 months before retail gets them. If I bought them from retail they would have cost me $42.38 with PA sales tax. I then would have to wait 2.5 months. I then would have to spend gas up the ass trying to chase them down from TRU, Target, KMart, Walmart, etc.....in an area that just got Elite 23 a week ago at TRU, Target who hasnt had elites in months, KMart who's newest figure is Elite 12 Orton and a Walmart that just got Elite 23. Gas being $3.35 a gallon....I think you can safely say that I would spend at least 3 gallons of gas and would have to become extremely lucky to obtain these figs with that min. fuel cost. So thats $10.05 more in gas. That brings my retail cost to $52.43 and dont forget the countless hours that would have to go into this hunt. At BEST case scenario....retail costs me $52.43. RSC costs me $61.39. The difference is $8.96. I dont know what you make per hour.....but my time is worth CONSIDERABLY more than $8.96 an hour. The only thing RSC is guilty of is saving me valuable time, shipping directly to my home and leaving me satisfied without fear of frustration. They are a goddamn american hero by those standards. I'm CM Showstopper and I approve this message!

Don't bother explaining it dude lol, people will never understand supply/demand and how a business works so let them think everything should be retail I understand why Ringside prices some figures higher - I just don't understand why people are impatient and pay those prices rather than wait for retail.Totally agree... the waiting/anticipation is all part of the fun! I don't get why so many people pay inflated prices, when they will be at retail in a few weeks... does it really make that much of a difference, lol? Ambrose and Rollins are the ones packed 2 per-box too, so they should be fairly easy to find. And I've gotta say, the new Elite packaging looks pretty sweet - MUCH better than the blue and yellow Basic/Battlepacks packaging.

I could've, but $29.99 is a lot when ya don't have it (will admit, I was buying other figures, guilty) But I can go to my local hobby shop and pick up the newest series when they come in for 21.99 each. No shipping, no inflated prices, no mess, no life lost, just a nice road trip, and about $47.99 dollars with CT sales tax later, and I am good. And while I would like to get them 2.5 months early, I have this amazing thing called patience, so I'll be fine.

And while I would like to get them 2.5 months early, I have this amazing thing called patience, so I'll be fine. If you put no value on getting something sooner, than by all means I can understand where you are coming from. In addition, you have a hobby shop that will get these in stock and provide no fuss in obtaining the figs you want with minimal markup. May I also point out that you are the exception and not the rule. I think most of us do NOT have this hobby shop. I dont know how close it is to you....but my closest one is 2hours away. And it will take them another month to get them in stock AND they will charge $29.99 if not MORE. So my closest hobby shop does me no good. In addition, I think you are the exception when it comes to waiting. I think most people here want to have their figs ASAP and will pay more to not have to wait. Its like when you stop at the gas station and remember you need a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk. There is usually about another 30% markup at a CONVENIENCE store over your local grocer b/c its much more convenient. You dont have to drive to another location. You dont have to park. You dont have to walk to the back of the store and then back to the front. You dont have to stand in line to check out and you can go right home. Ever buy a loaf of bread or gallon of milk at the gas station? For someone like me, I have all but given up on retail stores to supply me with figures. It is incredibly inconvenient and a waste of time. I have no hobby shop like the one you get to enjoy. I got a KMart that only as Elite 12 Orton in stock and its been like that for only a year. Want to know why its only been like that for a year? Because my Kmart only seems to get figures once a year and they are 10 series behind or so. Finally....you did mention a "road trip".....how many miles are we talking? Did you take into consideration the cost of gas?

I received my Bruno today. it was worth paying the few extra bucks and having it delivered to my house without hassle of going store to tore to look for it. I would have ordered the Rollins and Ambrose but I have the basics so the elites weren't a priority but I will get them in the future

[quote source="/post/5850352/thread" timestamp="1382487287" author=" ayato1381" CM Showstopper I am not quoting you cause that is a lot of wasted space, your post is valid, just re-quoting it would be a space hogger. You are correct. I am very much the exception. I have a unique situation where I can wait and pretty much get what I want at a lower price. Personally for me Ringside is a sin against action figuredom, for others a godsend, the only place they can go. I don't take anything away from anyone who buys these figures from Ringside or anywhere else, regardless of the price you pay. If you love collecting and having the figures, dude that is cool with me, I have bought figures for more then retail myself (not much more, but more). I am the exception to rule in most cases, believe me I know. The road trip is 45 minutes away, and my car is excellent on gas regardless. Once again, the exception. So, dude I get it and I get why others are excited for this, for me, not so much, cause even though I can wait (it's the SHIELD, so it is a teeth gritting wait) and can eventually get them at a local shop for less in a few months, right now I can't afford $80 before shipping right now for action figures. I could've a month or so ago when I wasn't already buying other figures and other items for other hobbies and paying for bills and what not (which I get that everyone has, so this isn't a sob story). Right now 40 or 50 would've been doable, not great but doable. Anything higher and I am out, and personally annoyed. 32 years old and I can't just buy some figures cause some website sells them at a premium price that makes them more then filling my car with gas, a few dollars less then my car insurance, more then my cell phone bill, and a few dollars less then I pay for rent, please. I have statues in my house that cost less then what Ringside charges for early release figures. I get why some people are happy my friend, I am not. And I do get where you and others are going from, believe me I do. But if buying two action figures means I can't pay my bills or take care of my car, or myself, then I am personally annoyed and will voice that annoyance. And I realize that this rambling wasted space as well, apologizes. I am broke son, broke. Hence selling stuff and the classified thread in my signature. But that is my problem, no one else's. Hence it not being a sob story.

I've been buying figures from RSC since the first ever BCA Stone Cold Steve Austin from series 4. I just dont like when someone is gonna run my #1 stop of figs down. I dont buy a lot of figures these day. Just not as into them anymore. But when I do....I hit RSC first and foremost. And while it's not the best place for you to shop.....its remains the best for me and for many others.

I knew they'd make him too tall! yeh. If the Dean figure is 6'4 scale. Then Bruno is 6'3. in real life Bruno was under 6 foot. I don't think they had the parts to make him shorter. They used the Ezekiel Jackson body with elite 22 Giant shins/boots I think.
