There has been lots of internal talk about the future of Ryback lately. He has heat on him for several different things.
For one, officials feel he hasn't really developed well in the ring like they were hoping. There's a feeling that Ryback has actually regressed in the ring. He also has heat on him for roughing up several different talents, most recently CM Punk.
Officials also feel that Ryback doesn't present himself well when making appearances for the company. WWE has gotten feedback on several appearances he's made over the past few months where people said he didn't look happy to be there, and this began before they turned him heel. One source described it as Ryback seeming to be annoyed by making public appearances.
It's said the "bloom is off the rose" with Ryback unless he turns things around. Vince McMahon has lost so much faith in Ryback that he may remove Paul Heyman from him so Heyman can move forward.

It's their own doing. Ryback was getting over big time as a face. Ok, he isn't the best in ring, but he has a good look and he was put over strong. Wrestlemania was where they messed him up for good. I was fine with him losing to Punk in the title matches, because he was still protected. The rumble match was a mistake, as he was eliminated too easily by Cena. Losing to the Shield at EC was ok, but he never got his revenge on them EVER! He should have been in the six man at Mania and won, not losing to Mark Henry. Then turning heel was ok, but It was just to make Cena look good. Having him with Heyman is good, but he should have beaten Punk at Battleground. He probably has lost a bit of belief in WWE, which could be a reason for his sloppier work recently.
I think the Goldberg chants are very off putting even as a face he was getting them I know if I was in that position itd be extremly morale deflating.
I hope they dont just let him go hopefully they can give him a talking to and air out their issues on both sides.
I think creative have been unfair on him for well over a year he got into an interesting feud with miz which lookers like an IC title run for ryback then he was thrown into that cm punk angle where everyone knew he wasn't gonna go over. From that point they couldn't put him back into the mid card after fighting for the wwe title a month previously. Although his face work was doing well they'd ran out of things to do with him and turned him heel... Point in case they've cut him short everytime he's had something going good.
I can understand why they're loosing faith but its nothing but creatives fault in my oppinion

Creative had no idea what to do with him. He could have been big. Look at guys like Andre, Bundy, Goldberg, even Hogan and Cena, they'll never be called wrestling gods, but they were huge men who had huge followings and were incredibly over. WWE's creative is trying to do fifty things at once and we're lucky if two of those things come out good. Why did they turn him heel I don't know. I don't know why they couldn't let him get the belt from Punk if everyone knew Punk was just holding it for Rock v Cena.
