This was actually announced last week via the spoilers, but thanks for pointing out that they've updated their Roster page. Means we can talk about it publicly without the hush hush.
Everyone should wait and see. When AJ Defends the TNA Title in Mexico and New Japan and Zero-1 and Muta's promotion (basically doing what WWE didn't with CM Punk.) hopefully people'll realize it's an awesome story-line.
But yes. Shamelessly taking off the Punk story-line. But doing it properly. not 'Del Rio-ing it' or 'Kevin Nashing' it.

AJ will be wrestling at these shows and defending the TNA Title.

Well, you should go check out the spoiler thread. Or we'll talk about it Thursday. But right now it's for sure better then the E's angle. Mainly because of talent involved.

If TNA lets his contract actually expire, it could be totally do-able.

AJ working in ROH would do no benefit for him or TNA unless ROH sent back something really tremendous. More then likely he'll do some UK indies and maybe a few dark indies in North America along with his W-1/AAA schedule.

He was also removed from the roster page, while yes if he defends the belt in the indies it would be awesome. I don't know how i'm going to watch TNA without AJ Styles right now. They need him with how bad they're doing and him not being there for a little bit really hurts them.
