Sting is my favorite wrestler of all time. I really want a Starrcade '97 Sting with a bat trench coat and WHC. He's had a couple of different looks so Mattel could def make some good money. I think we'll get him at some point, but it'll most likely be a long time from now.

I never thought Macho would get a WWE figure and he did. So while I wouldn't say it's impossible Sting gets one I'll say it's improbable.

Probably if he retire from all wrestling promotion and sign a figure deal !!! I just don't see him going to wwe I think it depends on how long Mattel has the license. If they have another 5 years or so, we could see him when he eventually makes it into the Hall of Fame. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if after his wrestling days he becomes a manager or promoter in TNA or some other newly-created rival for WWE. That would effectively lock him out. I think right now it's 50/50. There are too many "ifs" to know for sure either way. (I bet Mattel has a better idea.) As we progress through Mattel's contract, we the collectors will have a better idea. But if in a couple years Sting is still doing significant things in another promotion, I think the chances will be dwindle.

Savage is a WWE legend. Neither did Adullah the Butcher, Nikita Koloff, Bobby Eaton or Stan Lane (well not as a wrestler anyway) and they got Jakks figures. Magnum TA never worked for them and he almost got a Mattel figure.

The way I see it, sting is very close to the end of his career. Once he does officially retire I would assume he is a free agent. Even if he doesn't wrestle for wwe I would think that he will more than likely do a figure, DVD etc. Just makes sense that he would.

50/50. He may be the only big name wrestler to never step foot in a WWE ring. He may never have a figure made by a WWE involved company either. Would def be something he'd do.

I hope Sting is made, Mattel would nail him both the suffer version and the "crow" look. But there must be a deal first. Sting in my mind is selfish for 2 reasons 1.) he knows that fans would love to see him in the WWE vs. The Undertaker time is running out on what would be an epic build up while the match might not be a CM Punk/Daniel Bryan type of match it would be a great moment in wrestling history to see two icons of the 90's square off. Even though they did wrestle in WCW it was before Mark Calloway became The Undertaker. and 2.) this b.s. about the WWE would do damage his character. Vince McMahon would not damage his character, because it it is too iconic. Goldberg was a monster in the WWE and Rey Mysterio is still selling well hell McMahon put the mask back on him. There is a clip on YouTube of Sting saying that because of the way Booker T. was booked he didn't go to the WWE. Guess what the WWE placed Booker T. in the WWE Hall of Fame and he works for them and they would treat Sting the same damn way he would actually be honored. GET ON BOARD STING DAMN IT before you and Taker can't cut it anymore!

When he decides to fully leave active wrestling, he has over half his career that belongs to Vince McMahon. If he wants his memory to live on through different generations who may be only familiar with this TNA work, he'll go tell his story. He's not opposed to doing that, either. Hopefully they can get him in the Legends program when he does his eventual career bio.

True. I'm just saying Macho Man isn't the best comparison.

As much as I would LOVE for Sting to be in the WWE and get a Mattel figure. I don't see it happening. If he did not sign during the prime of his career, or during the Monday Night Wars, or during the Invasion
period, or the recent years, its not going to happen. Sting gets treated very well in TNA, and he can't take a full on schedule at his age. Sting is one of my all time favorites, so I would go nuts for him to make the
jump. All leading up to an amazing series of Mattel figures that I know Mattel would nail!
