AJ currently, but of all time, I voted Trish Stratus. Honestly though Vickie Guerrero does get a reaction every week.

I'll say Sable, as in her day, she was INSANELY popular and was technically the first Diva, as she was a valet that crossed over into wrestling, as most Divas have done. I imagine had Sable not have thought she was bigger than the business, she would be remembered more fondly. Plus, most of her contributions aren't very PG era-friendly...... I won't say Trish, even though she will most likely go down as the greatest Diva of all time. And had Lita not have broke her neck back in '02, she probably would be right up there with Trish(as she should be). However, I do think Lita could be a perfect female WWE HOF candidate for 2014.

It's a very close call, but definitely Lita. The pops she was getting in 2000/2001 were crazy, they talk about it on the Attitude Era documentary. I forget who exactly it was, but one superstar said the pops she was getting were louder than the main event guys at one point. I could be mistaken, but I think Trish vs. Lita on Raw for the title was the only women's match to ever main event a show.

Chyna. No one else comes close. She was getting huge pops every week from 1998-2000. She was followed by by the mainstream media (something that only a few of the very top performers in the WWE have ever done). She was over enough and believable enough that she won the IC Title twice and competed in the rumble and KOTR tournament. A lot of people let the crap shes been doing over the past 10 years cloud their memories. Trish never came close to Chyna's popularity. I'd argue Sable would be second. She was featured in the the highest grossing Playboy ever at one time. Mrs. Elizabeth would be up their as well with her involvement with Savage and Hogan.Trish is simply a product of WWE and IWC hype. Sure Trish and Lita main evented one episode of Raw (which was a good match)...Chyna did that multiple times. Chyna is defiantly #1, followed by Sable and Mrs. Elizabeth who were both over big time. I agree. From an in-ring standpoint, Chyna did things that no other female will probably ever accomplish, and the crowd always seemed to get behind her. I remember them trying to make her heel, and it didn't work. She was even aligned with the most hated man in the WWF, Triple H, and was still cheered wildly. Look at her match @ WMX7. It felt huge! And she got one of the biggest pops on the card when she won back the Women's title. It just so happens, during the biggest period in the history of wrestling, that there were 2 women getting bigger pops than most of the roster, and had mainstream appeal. And that's Sable and Chyna. Trish and Lita may have been pioneers of today's Diva's division, but Chyna and Sable were Diva's before it was the norm. And I only chose Sable as most popular because I had some very eerily obsessed friends at that time.

Trish by far. After her, Lita.

Not counting Vickie Guerrero, of course. As for myself, I like Trish Stratus. Trish was more over than Vickie is. I'm not saying that Vickie is not over, she is, just not as much as Trish was. Chyna should be in this poll. So should Sunny, Sherri Martel, The Fabulous Moolah and Sable. They were all more over during the peak of their popularity than Kelly Kelly. The most over Diva of all time, however, is probably Miss Elizabeth. Co-signed. Her pops were just earsplitting. The room came off when she came to save Macho from that beating at the hands of Sherri.

I'm surprised Mickie James wasn't mentioned. I swear she had some of the loudest crowd reactions to a Diva ever. Mainly because she was in storylines that caused the fans to strongly back her up.

I don't wanna sound predictable but I'm gonna have to say Chyna. She'd get big pops every night and was a huge face of the AE, I mean go look at merch from that time, books, VHS from that time, she was all over it. I kinda find it ridiculous that her name isn't on this list but Kelly Kelly and AJ are. That really speaks to the short attention span of WWE audience. I always thought Trish was overrated. Lita takes second place.

Lita takes second place. This. As I said in my previous post, Trish is overrated big time by WWE and IWC hype. No other woman came close to the height of Chyna's popularity. Name any other woman who could be believable as HHH's bodyguard. And the fact that she was getting huge pops every week when she was with the most hated heel at the time, HHH, says a lot. She made it into the mainstream media, which is something that only a very few have ever done in the wrestling world (I'd be willing to bet that more random people would know who Chyna is than HHH, even today). She won the IC Title twice and competed in the rumble and KOTR tournaments. No other woman has ever come close. Sable and Ms. Elizabeth would be next IMO. Sable was promoted as THE diva from '97-99 and was featured in the highest grossing issue of Playboy at one point. She may not have been around as long as Trish but was far more memorable. Ms. Elizabeth got huge because of her involvement with Savage and Hogan. That popularity lasted into the late-'90s when she was with WCW and the nWo. Trish simply cannot touch those three in terms of how over they all were.

A lot of people are saying Trish by far, but although she may be the greatest all around performer, I don't think she has the following or fans that Lita had. People even dressed like Lita, and I'm sure her merchandise and video probably sold more than Trish's.

Hard to argue Chyna honestly.
Both her Playboy spread and porn movie set records and flew off the sticky shelves.

Eve and aj main evented raw with Daniel Bryan and cm punk one time but since that was inter gender I'm not sure how many people count that.

Hard to argue Chyna honestly. Both her Playboy spread and porn movie set records and flew off the sticky shelves. Im pretty sure her first Playboy was the best selling celebrity edition in America, Im not sure if that's still true.

This this this. Trish is so highly over rated and peoples judgments are cloudy as hell. Chyna was a mainstream celebrity at one point. Trish as far as wwe insider fans go, sure she was one of if not the best wrestler. But as far as popularity with a mainstream audience. Trish dosent even come close.

Trish wasn't all that over. Idk how she is winning the poll by that much. Chyna takes the cake, No questions asked. She was so over, she competed on a superstar level.
