You're telling me they have Doink rights and won't make him? What gives? ...because wrestling fans - in their infinite wisdom - decided they would rather have the oh-so-exciting figures of Bundy, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard (that killed the Legends line on Matty) over a colorful, awesome looking clown figure. Going by that Matty poll, Mattel probably think there won't be much demand for Doink. I cant believe they still use that HORRIBLE poll to decide anything?

A "Dungeon Of Doom" style Flashback Hugh Morrus would be great! I've been suggesting Mattel scan/make him for ages, since he's under WWE contract. Glad to see he's finally under consideration. There's other behind-the-scenes WWE-contracted talent who should be considered for flashbacks too - e.g. Norman Smiley, Billy Kidman. Looking forward to more WCW flashbacks and NWO flashbacks. Also happy to hear X-pac and Crush are under consideration. But to be honest I'd be more interested in an NWO Syxx version of Waltman, and a DOA/NWO/Kronik version of Brian Adams. thatd be sad day in wrestling figs if we get a Hugh Morris Flashback before a John Studd, Razor or Flair, etc!

Sometimes these Q&A's make me want to quit collecting Mattel. Little to no hope for us Legends collectors. Edge& Bill Demot?!?!?! Give me a break! It's a shame about Big John Studd...I'm sure Mattel would blow the Jakks version out of the water. I'm tired of Attitude Era figures. I couldnt have said this better myself! I swear Mattel loves to frustrate & disappoint legend/flashback collectors! like you said, another Edge, Hugh Morris. but no John Studd or Razor. Mattel, sometimes you can make it seriously suck to be a legend/flashback collector. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Burnt out on attitude era! I've had more Stone colds, Rocks, Mankinds, Edge/Chritian, DX, etc etc figs than any other. I'm gonna start taking pics of the 11 walmarts, meijers, targets, trus I check regulary and show everyone how the super popular attitude era HHH is sitting at all the stores and Taker/Savage are no where o be found. JBL sits as well. old school flashbacks are the big sellers! Yoko, Honky, Deisel, Shango, Taker, Savage, Bret, Warrior. figs like Edge, christian, & Trish sat and sat and sat! RSC cant give Trish & Christian away!

Yea, I'm afraid that as Legends Collectors, we're a dying breed.... although these poor selections don't help to build a following..... I'm sure they've got all kinds of stuff they're not talking about - that's why I don't really care for these Q&A's..... they don't tell us the good stuff anyway, so people just get discouraged. These aren't exactly national security secrets, though...... would it kill them to give us some actual news? thats one thing I LOVED about Jakks & Jeremy. always telling you who just got signed, who might be signed, protos immediatly when done. why the big secrets with Mattel? it wrestling figures for crying out loud. not homeland security codes!

he's won more tag team belts....then anyone in WWE. He's won King of the Ring, a Royal Rumble and 2 Money in the Bank briefcases. He's held the modern World Heavyweight Championship more then anyone else He's won 2 Match of the Year & 2 Feud of the Year awards from PWI. Edge is pretty legit I should have been more specific. Edge is one of my favorites from this current era of wrestling. My main question with the demand for more Edge is I don't see what would be so different beyond a new head sculpt for an Edge figure that we didn't get when Mattel got the license and made numerous Edge figures. And I really don't want Edge taking up one of the limited Flashback spots ala Jerry Lawler from Elite 18. I get it with Edge, but he's had a flashback already and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Many others havent had one! thas why I wish they would just do a Flashback only line. 4 figs per set, so its not too many figs. put in 2 old school legends, 1 attude era guy, and a current star in debut outfits or something. 4 waves per year, every qaurter, which is a whole 16 flashbacks a yr!

Is there anyone else who would love to get Earthquake? I would.... but I don't hear much buzz about any figure for him.... I guess he'd be better if we had a Hulk Hogan for him to fight.... would LOVE an Earthqauke fig!

I never took that video to mean that they WOULD make Demott. Just that they have scanned him, and if fans said they wanted him enough then they would be able to make him. Judging by the response on the board, I wouldn't expect General Rection to take up a spot in Flashback any time soon. With that being said I would buy him personally because I think he could go for a big man.

All that talk about Bill Demott was the answer to a question about getting more WCW figures. So if the only response was the slight possibility of a Hugh Morris figure, the answer would be no WCW figures.
Until Hogan, Goldberg, Hall, or Flair sign on.

Very happy about Edge. I'd like a WM24 Elite Who ever submitted the questions about Scott Hall and Flair should be banned, and shame on RSC for asking them. You wouldn't believe how many people asked about them! If the questions keep on coming doesn't that mean the demand (and $ signs) are very high??? I think it's funny how Bill fizzles out EVERY SINGLE TIME he gets asked about Razor/Hall...also funny how he perks up about "getting Goldberg done AS SOON AS THEY GET THE RIGHTS" why not that kind of positive reaction for Razor??? Bottom line Bill & company: You letting down A LOT of fans of your product down by not "moving heaven and earth" to try to even get a Razor/Hall figure in the works, and when I say A LOT...that is a gross UNDERSTATEMENT. Thank you for your time.

Well, he's never wrestled with short hair. Do you want him in his Haven attire or something?

Very disappointing. It took them that long to cut that video together and post? Yikes! Where is the dang information on when Mankind will be available. Is it really that difficult to answer?

I'm a little bit surprised there's no demand for a D-lo Brown figure??? there's never been one and he was a HUGE part of the attitude era.

I'm a little bit surprised there's no demand for a D-lo Brown figure??? there's never been one and he was a HUGE part of the attitude era. I agree. I would love a flashback D'Lo from the Nation. Although, I want an entire flashback Nation, so that'd be easy for me. My thoughts after seeing this video - First - I like Tom as much as the next guy, but Jerry's the man. Comes across as a genuine fan, and really seems to put in his all during these videos. Not that Tom didn't, mind you, but Jerry just seems more excited and "fan-like" to me. Second - I appreciated Bill's answers. All the people here complaining about "omg we're getting hugh morrus before razor, flair, etc"...first of all, it's about the rights. If Mattel doesn't have the rights to make a figure, they WILL NOT make it. Hugh Morrus, they have rights to POSSIBLY make it. It's the same as if you had 20 dollars to spend, you MIGHT get an Elite figure. But, if you DIDN'T have ANY money, you would get NOTHING. See? Stop whining. Third - I wonder if they could get away with making an early 1997 Razor Ramon. Y'know, from when it was the "fake" guy who wasn't Scott Hall. They could put HIS picture on the box, but sculpt the head to look suspiciously like Hall...a roundabout way to satisfy fans.

But as far as I know they aren't even reaching out to Hall to ATTEMPT to work on a deal with him (because they have an ethical issue with Scott's past) plus it's not like Scott doesn't need the money, I'm sure Mattel would ten fold profit on the figure sales with the price the deal costs with Scott. The Idea of a fake Razor figure is a good one to me, it would go great along side that hideous Kevin Nash head scan they sold us.
