It's legit. Curt Hawkins tweeted this.
"For the record @kassiusohno is one of my favorite wrestlers. An incredible talent that any promotion would benefit from having on board."

Can't say I'm surprised or shocked that this happened. Some people called him getting released soon from the moment the reports came out that Kassius Ohno was on the dog house for not wanting to trim down and work out in the performance center.
It's a shame he's released because I was a fan of Kassius Ohno and I was looking forward to seeing him on the main roster. I bet he would return to Ring of Honor, but he is a piece of talent that I can see succeeding in TNA, so if we hear reports by the start of 2014 that TNA signs him, I would not surprised and it would be just another wrestler I can look forward to seeing in TNA.

If he was dedicated and listened to suggestions he'd still be working for them.

More proof WWE is the worst major promotion of all time More proof proves that the WWE are heads and don't know talent when they see it. And more proof that all you do is crap on every company. Somebody else has seen the light! Oh Hallelujah! Ban this mother er!

Wow that's a real shame, he was a great talent. Hopefully TNA can score him.

I know a lot of you are upset, cause the guy was very good in the ring. But ask yourselves... did his look really scream "money maker"? Cause like it or not your look has a lot to do with getting over. And Ohno looked like a jobber. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise? Maybe he can take this release to motivate himself to get in the gym, build some mass, and give it another shot someday? Jobber!? No, but.... Jobber! I wanted him to make it, but he seems to have went backwards as of late.

Jobber! I wanted him to make it, but he seems to have went backwards as of late. Now that is disappointing. Pathetic.

I'll say something I heard Don Tony (I'll probably get heat for mentioning him lol) say on his show in response to listeners who only crap on his show, but continue to watch, if you don't like it, don't watch it! Why watch a wrestling product if all you do (talking to the guy who complains a lot) is complain about wrestling. I might complain about how WWE and TNA are doing things, but I only criticize what I don't like, because there is still some things on both companies that I like, so I watch for those reasons. If the guy complaining about both companies is all he talks about, then don't watch RAW, don't watch Main Event, don't watch Impact, don't watch Smackdown and if you've already done that, then stop complaining about the product if you don't even watch it anymore.

Shame but I can't say I blame WWE on this one. After I read that his release could have something to do with his attitude problem, then I can't really blame WWE for releasing this guy I mean he had Triple H on his side, Triple H wanted him to shape up to go to the main roster. If you had Triple H high on you and you still get released, then he messed up badly IMO

It's every single post, for a long, long time. That's why these days I just quote every post he makes and mark down how many negative posts that makes. Maybe one day somebody'll notice and put that out of his misery.

the whole thing is just.... odd.
is Hero has a crapty attitude, then he deserves what he gets. there are 30,000 guys that would sell their souls for a shot at a WWE contract. even going through the WWE system...look at El Generico. if the WWE was demanding that he "get it shape" it's kind of ridiculous considering the various looks and shapes of their entire roster. you don't have to be 0% body fat, 6-pack abs cut to be a wrestler. That's ridiculous. And it's not like Hero was disgustingly obese. I really don't see anything wrong with the way he looked in that aspect if you're a wrestler, isn't part of your job training, working out and building cardio? so why wouldn't he be doing that stuff?
the whole story of this guy is so bizarre, i don't know what to believe. but whatever, im not losing sleep over the fact that "Kassius Ohno" won't be debuting on my TV screen. That really was a crapty wrestler name.

Maybe, just maybe, they released him to give him more time to get in shape. Also he has said nothing about it and he is still listed in the NXT roster page.

Well then, Punk's bias against TNA will play into his decision. Like I said, I hope he gets there. He's at that 'Beter then ROH' level now. Haven't seen him face Joe or Aries though, if ever.

Punk's bias for TNA is kind of ridiculous anyhow. Punk got himself fired from TNA by getting into a fist fight with Teddy Hart on the streets outside of the Asylum from what I remember hearing. I don't think TNA would pick up Chris Hero anyhow. I think Hero will end up wrestling for indy shows now. I don't even know if ROH would take him back, cause when he and Claudio left for WWE, Hero didn't pass the test and Claudio did, so Hero went back to ROH and then when the test worked, he left ROH again, the 2nd time in like 3 months. And ROH really doesn't need him either. If all he had to do was just lift weights every day for a few hours, to keep his job in the WWE, then I don't see why he didn't do it.
