Since Mattel decided to resurrect Flex Force under a different name, why don't they give us Defining Moments or a Legends series under a different name. Because retailers don't want them. Mattel can't just magic up an outlet for legends figures - they tried that with MattyCollector and people still didn't buy 'em. When they launch a new line, it's because retailers want them to. When they cancel a line, it's because retailers don't want it. So the retail stores that couldn't get rid of Flex Force until they put them on clearance or shipped them to Big Lots are begging Mattel to bring them back? Makes perfect sense.

Retail is rarely logical, so I can kind of see where he's coming from. Retail won't carry comic book based action figures of superheroes, which while not amazing sellers do still perform better overall than movie toy lines which rot, and yet every Walmart around still has iron man 2 and cap movie figures. Retail is just as clueless as Mattel's corporate branch.

But in response to your theory about retailers requesting certain lines and assortments, can't wait to see these things priced $2.99 at your nearest discount retailer. Maybe then will Mattel learn their lesson....then again they probably won't.

That's true of all lines, whether they're popular on wfigs or not.

If the orders stop coming, the toys don't get made anymore. If orders keep coming, toys keep getting made. Whether we forum members like the toy or not.

Yeah and retailers always make good business decisions.

Children & trolls will be stealing those belts & chairs right & left. Seriously, whose stupid decision was it to leave the accessories out in the open???
People already tear into the bubble packaging to steal accessories, so what in God's name will stop them from just walking by & plucking them right out of the figure's hands???

They're pieces of cardboard, not real accessories. People might still take them, but why would they want them?

Why would people steal plastic belts or print out belts from WFigs' custom accessories board? Collectors want title belts & most children are sociopaths.
