Undertaker's WrestleMania matches have been some of the largest in wrestling history. Here are some of his accomplishments just from some of his Mania matches:
- Won several major championships (WWE and WHC) - Main-evented WrestleMania multiple times - Defeated his "brother" twice - Retired Shawn Michaels (and defeated him twice) - Defeated Triple H three times
Something also to consider is what has happened in the matches themselves. For instance, on several occasions, we've been on the edge of our seats several times. I'm talking about moments like Triple H tombstoning Undertaker, a Sweet Chin Music + Pedigree (in the Hell in a Cell), Undertaker nearly getting counted out from his dive at WrestleMania 25, and CM Punk hitting Undertaker in the back of the head with his urn. Every year, the stakes are raised and more drama is added to the legacy of the "streak". What do you think is there left to do?

Nothing. With two bad hips and being way past his prime, retirement is the best option.

Even though this is true, 99% of the people that say it end up drooling over the match he puts on, regardless of how banged up he is. Nothing. With two bad hips and being way past his prime, retirement is the best option.

I agree. He should just retire. Wrestlemania 30 should be his last one. The 30th Wrestlemania and winning it, there is no better way to go then at the top.

What would be the need to retire when he can come in once a year and still continue to have one of the best, biggest , most drawing matches of the year?
Why?
HBK should have done the same thing.

He's been having the best match every at every Wrestlemania since 2007 so he can definitely still go. I'd like to see him take on Cena next year.

At this point I am not sure how good that match would be.

He always has amazing matches, so now we want Cena, which has been on my hope list for quite a while now.

At this point I am not sure how good that match would be. A retirement home match at WRESTLEMANIA. With canes, walkers and wheelchairs as props.

Depending. I wanna see him vs. Brock, but id rather see him and Cena before he's done.
Most importantly, I wanna see his last match at like a Summerslam. The event can be dedicated to him basically. Puts a younger talent over in the main event. Keeps the streak, retires and gets inducted the following Mania.

him facing Rock and Brock. Zero desire to see either match. Rock has sucked so much since he came back, it would be awful. I have no interest in ever seeing Brock (or Rock for that matter) compete again. He has to face Cena. And his and Kane's last match should be against each other at WrestleMania. Shame Paul Bearer couldn't be there to absorb their souls into the urn after the match thus retiring both men.

They could have the streak end at WMXXX in a draw. Still undefeated but still technically ends it. He's getting old and it is most likely his last Mania.

IMO Cena is the last match left for the streak that would draw sufficient interest and create some buzz.
most of us would all be hoping against hope that Cena wouldn't end the streak but we would have the possibility that he could in the back of our minds.

Sting isn't going to happen and if it did would be a disappointment at this stage of their careers.
Cena is the most logical choice and really the only big match left for Taker at Mania.
