Yeah but it's going to cost a small fortune for consumers per item.

lol, what a load of bullcrap. How does it not get hit by planes? How does it not hit trees and large buildings? How does it know where to place the package in your yard and also where the fences are?
On a side note, way to keep eliminating jobs.

They need to have a large banner on the drone, so you know it's Amazon and not the government.

It's only a matter of time till it hits something or, god forbid, someone. Then the lawsuits will start pouring in.
Bad idea. I don't trust drones. I see one, I shoot It down, that simple.

Amazon is a giant of a retailer. When you shoot their drone, and they sue you (as they inevitably would), do let me know how good of an idea that was.

That is one of the dumbest ideas ever. Anything could happen. The order could get lost, damaged, hurt someone, cause damage etc.

Thats the same crap they have at ToysRUS for $149.99 except it's made to closely resemble a human and not a cartoon character.

I'm pretty sure the drones won't be flying as high as planes do. so what about cell phone towers and power lines then? They have navigation systems and have people monitoring the drones to make sure it gets to where it needs to go. The drone delivery testing is working just fine for the Chinese SF express.

Ummm, maybe I'm wrong here, feel free to stop me if I am, but wouldn't they be flying over property, and not flying "on" them? Just tossin' that one out there.

I've never seen robots for sale at TRU. Things like this, Those "androids" are just a souped up version of things like this. The only difference is they dumped all the money into making two or three and not two or three hundred thousand. Spewach recognition software and verbal communication are easily available tools, Motion tracking Cameras in the eyes and then A rubber mask over a series of metal moving parts that are all pre programmed in synch with one another. Someone just combined a whole bunch of readily available tools and packaged them into a rubber human form. I saw one once that could sense when you touched it. Well my sting pillow as a child knew I was gabbing his nose, too! XD

Unless the laws changed , when you own a property, technically all the land is yours, which includes everything from the center of the earth to the highest point in the sky.
