NBC's Bay Area affiliate has confirmed that WrestleMania 31 will take place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California in Spring 2015. The stadium is home to the San Francisco 49ers, and WWE will obviously try and set an attendance record before Super Bowl 50 arrives in California one year later. Technical specs for the building state that it can be expanded to 75,000 with floor seating, which could certainly net WWE one of the top four or five WrestleMania gates in history.
WrestleMania 31 has been all but confirmed for the Bay Area for some time now. The much bigger news coming out of this report is that NBC has confirmed – according to their source – that WrestleMania 32 will take place near Dallas, TX. This confirms early reports stating WWE's biggest spectacle will come to AT&T Stadium in Spring 2016, the third largest football stadium in the United States, which has a record of 105,000 fans attended for a Dallas Cowboys game in 2009. Expanded with floor seating for WrestleMania, if WWE could draw enough fans to Texas, it is very possible 2016 could see the biggest WWE event in history.
I know Philly fans will be disappointed, since their city was in the running for 32, but I'm extremely happy with Texas getting this, & will go out of my way to be there in person.

The negotiations are never even close to being settled this early. Not a chance I believe Texas will host WM32... at least not yet.

I think the plan was to reveal 32's location next month, so it wouldn't be surprising for it to come out now. For whatever reason, they are doing this well in advance than they have in previous years.

Doesn't make logical sense to announce the location for 2016, when 2015 hasn't been officially announced.

By a month? Again, just doesn't make logical sense.
Either way, we'll see.

Then why hasn't it been done before? just because they haven't done it before shouldn't be cause to automatically rule out the chance they'd do it now... besides the Wrestlemania in Texas has been rumored for a couple years now.

Another reason I take it with a grain of salt. WrestleMania in the new Dallas stadium has been rumored for 2-3 years (at least) now.
Obviously if it's made official, then it is. Until then, I don't believe they'd make the decision this far in advance.

Why not? WWE knows the brand of Wrestlemania it self sells the show, announcing a few years ahead is smart so people can plan. Then why hasn't it been done before? They're heading into the 30th Mania, what better time to change what they do? Plus selling the idea of the "biggest Mania ever" is a big deal. It's common to actually plan this far head for a lot of places. Dallas's stadium being as big as it is ends up bringing a ton of events in, so it makes sense to lock it in if you can. From an event planning stand point, it's very smart to announce early so people are aware. Not like WWE doesn't announce a year in advance of Mania, but again they need to sell over 100,000 tickets; that's a 2 year process to convince people they want tickets for an event they won't have matches for AT LEAST a year out. There's a ton of variables that can go into WWE locking in Dallas this year, one of which is AT&T Stadiums lack of ability to get patrons there without car or shuttle. Honestly, it's not like WWE doesn't do this normally, they just don't have the news get out because it looks cool to do a media event a year out. If you honestly think their negotiations aren't done earlier, then you have no clue how much work goes into shows the size of Wrestlemania.

Regardless of whether or not it's true, it's only a matter of time before it goes to Dallas.

I fully believe WrestleMania 32 is in Dallas. Vince is an egomaniac and would love to set another attendance record.

If its in Texas I'm going. Maybe by then Daniel Bryan will be the full time face of WWE going in and out as champion.
Maybe by then I'll wake up out of my delusions.

I also know that, with Houston gearing up for a Super Bowl in a few years (2017), we'll get another Wrestlemania sooner than later. They already paid for a fancy, gigantic video screen & are doing construction to have super bowl event week allow for hundreds of thousands at 'discovery green park' & WWE will def want to take advantage of that for the week of events. They are also making a 1,000 room hotel real close by all of that stuff to make sure there's extra space (it'll be bonkers downtown with how many people they anticipate for the super bowl).

Dallas would make sense if Vince would want to set a record, as said above. We can still dream for a UK Mania one day :3

WM32 is seemingly the first opportunity WWE has had in Dallas where there wasn't a scheduling conflict. The only reason 30 isn't in Dallas is because of the Final 4. Vince has been beating down that door since the stadium opened, and for good reason.
