My recent 15 from the sale, need MOAR! that's quite the haul. I think I only have about 20 Crterions in total. I like the director of Close-Up, havent seen that one, but I've seen Certified Copy and Like Someone in Love. I have about 325 actual (650+ with copies) myself. I love it. I can get immersed in any of them. Here's my list of some of the ones that you NEED to see... this isn't a complete list, just a few off the top of my head: Videodrome Scanners World on a Wire Blood for Dracula Flesh for Frankenstein Seven Samurai La Haine Carlos Blow Out Night on Earth Dead Ringers Breaking the Waves Element of Crime Repo Man Weekend (Godard's) Pierro le Fou The 400 Blows Night on Earth Mystery Train Leon Morin, Priest

I feel as though I have a good dvd/blu ray collection on the whole, but I've only sorta recently got into more indie and foreign films. As far as Criterion specifically goes, I've seen more than I own, but I buy them slowly. I've been getting all the Westerns and Kurosawa films I can (only doing blu ray), and then getting the occasional indie/foreign/drama film. I've only seen 3 from that list.

@heroesandmartyrs I went to buy the Three Colors Trilogy (which I have seen all three before, but don't own them yet... amazing films if you haven't seen them), but they were out, but I picked up:

Like for the Les Blank box set, I was able to pre-order it and get a sale price, and use an additional 20% off coupon, AND my store card 10% discount. If you want to see more great Kurosawa, then check out Kagemusha and Ran. Kagemusha is on Blu-Ray and Ran is OOP from Criterion, but its on Blu-Ray from Canal+ and I think its still on Netflix.

Got my Black Friday haul stuff yesterday. Picked up all of these Blurays:
Hercules Divergent Lego Movie Transformers 4 Ender's Game Edge of Tomorrow
I watched Hercules yesterday. Thought it was really good. Really felt like a throwback action flick. I know it under performed but I would love to see a sequel and have this be Rock's Conan type of franchise. Transformers was the only other movie I picked up that I haven't seen yet. So I'll try and get to that tonight. I have low expectations but it was only $6 so haha...

Couple super cheap gets from Fry's. Bend of the River was pretty solid, but honestly outside of a couple scenes from Stewart it's nothing to write home about. Only seen the first 45mins or so of Lonesome Dove; mellow so far, Jones and Duvall are great though.

Picked up Guardians today. I missed out on the steel case from Best Buy, so I turned around and bought it off eBay. Someone was selling a copy of the 3D BR only in the steel case for $15 so I snatched it up. I just listed my copy of the 3DBR only copy with the standard case on eBay for the same price. So hopefully I can recoup a little after shipping and the eBay scalping tax and what not. I got Guardians with a Rewards certificate, so I technically didn't pay for it anyway and I wanted that case haha. I usually think those kind of things are stupid but that case is sweet. I also didn't want to drive all over to look for it either. So while this is more work than necessary, I'm glad I have it.

I love Lonesome Dove I find it is the best of that series.
Lonesome Dove
Return to Lonesome Dove (John Voight plays and older Woodrow Call and Ricky Schroder reprises his role of Newt)
Comanche Moon (Karl Urban and Steven Zahn play the rolls of young Woodrow Call and Gus McCrae first joining the Texas Rangers)
Streets of Laredo (James Garner plays an older Woodrow Call)
Fort Apache is a great movie as well. A few other Wayne movies I really like are Red River, Hondo and Rio Grande. And of course the Searchers.
Stewart's "Bend in the River" I enjoyed it, but I think I liked "Naked Spur" more.
Seeing the Fonda there makes me think of the Ox-Bow Incident. A very good movie.
As for movies I just picked up I purchased Dawn of the PotA Guardians of the Galaxy

i got back from best buy a little bit a go to get my new iPhone and while waiting there for like an hour and a half maybe two hours i started getting bored and just asked to look around for a sec while the guy was doing stuff and i started walking through the DVD isle and bluray isle and then bam it hit me i stopped with a confused look on my face ... i was thinking it couldn't be i mean what are the chances and i turned back and looked at it and saw the price and was blown away thinking there's no way its gotta be marked wrong or something and so i looked at the little tags on tags on the shelves and went screw it and i took it to get rang up and they did and bam i legit just got The Shield the Complete series 29 disc set for $24.99 at best buy they are also doing this online , why i thought it wasnt real is mostly because my parents liked the series and i was too young to watch it so i have been wanting to see it and so today i bought it i kinda have been very reminiscent the past few months not a bad pick up considering i just went in to get my new phone

Anyways, I went to Walmart to get some groceries, etc. and came across the new Arrested Development Season 4 DVD. I completely forgot that it was coming out this week and I wasn't sure if it was going to be bumped again to a later date like it has for the last couple of months. I didn't really like the way that they did the episodes focusing on 1 character, but got it anyways for craps and giggles...and because I have the other 3 seasons. $20 isn't too bad of a price for it either.
