He's not true champion? Strange. He's got six championships in the same format that everyone has been playing with since The Chase started. I'd say he's a "true champion".. Also, majority of true fans agree with me. Once the chase started and Johnson started winning, ratings went way down. Dont blame the economy either, because that has nothing to do with tv ratings. Oh, I'm not a true fan because I think your logic is bulls***? Yeah, that makes sense. I'm not a real fan because I acknowledge the fact that for six of the past eight years Jimmie Johnson and the #48 team played by the same championship format as the other 12 (or 13) drivers. The reality is.. we aren't playing by a points system from 1998. We aren't talking about what could of happened. We are talking about what points system we are playing by and what did happen. Jimmie Johnson has six championship rings that says he's a true champion to say otherwise is ignorant because you're attempting to take away someone's success solely because you don't like him nor the way he's been successful. I'm entitled to an opinion just like everybody else.. so don't try this "true fan" bulls***.

Im not taking your opinion away, you can support a cheater like Jimmie if you want, but you know I am right that Johnson is a disease to the sport.

There are a thousand other things that could create a ratings problem that isn't named Jimmie Johnson. Such as.... The fact that not everyone wants to sit around on a Sunday afternoon watching NASCAR outside of die-hard fans? The fact that most people don't have the attention span in 2014 to sit through three straight hours of racing? You aren't making any damn sense. You said - and I quote - "NASCAR is somewhat fixed by the officials and Helton and France, so no matter what changes are made I expect Jimmie Johnson to "slide" under the inspection process, magically dominate the races, and win his seventh title. Him and his cheating will take NASCAR to new lows." <-- So.. if Jimmie Johnson is this cancer to NASCAR, killing the sport, blah, blah.. why would NASCAR "fix" races/the sport for Jimmie to dominant? Seriously..

Evernham back as a consultant to HMS? Let the speculation begin. Dale Jr's new crew chief?! Morgan Shepherd will be attempting the Daytona 500 in a car fielded by BK Racing. He will be driving the #93. Morgan Shepherd is the greatest driver of the last 3 generations that he has driven in. SG, idk why you're trying to flaunt this "JIMMIE IS THE BEST" parade, when you know the real greatest is The Shep.

If Ray is going to be a crew chief, which i highly doubt, it needs to be with Gordon. I just hope Shep does not have a heart attack while in the car, he is like 70 something right?

It needs to be with someone who is struggling that Ray could help and needs a new crew chief IE: Dale Jr.

Morgan Shepherd will be attempting the Daytona 500 in a car fielded by BK Racing. He will be driving the #93. Support Military Foundation announced that Morgan Shepherd will be driving the #93 SMF Toyota at Daytona International Speedway in an attempt to qualify for the Daytona 500. The presenting sponsor will be named at a later date. If Shepherd makes the field he would become the oldest driver ever to compete in the Daytona 500. Shepherd, 71, most recently partnered with Support Military Foundation to become the oldest driver to compete in the Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire in 2013. The team is a collaboration of BK Racing, Randy MacDonald of MacDonald Motorsports and Dell Hamilton of Support Military Foundation/HMR. "Whenever you can break a record or make history, it's something special. To have Morgan in the car and the SMF presented on the car we couldn't be happier," said Dell Hamilton. "We are still looking for a presenting sponsor for the race, Support Military Foundation colors will be on the car but we are hoping for a presenting sponsor to come along and help us with this unique initiative." So he chose his age as his car number? Interesting

But Ray could probably bring a couple wins, maybe even a title to Jr. If it wasn't for Jr blowing his engine at Chicagoland, the championship outcome would have been a lot different.

Evernham back as a consultant to HMS? Let the speculation begin. Dale Jr's new crew chief?! As an over 16 year fan of Jr., I hope so. Ray is a guy who can get him back to the success he experienced in the early 00's. Good 3 or 4 years with Ray on the pit box, Jr. could have a title or two. I'd take even one just to shut the haters up.
