This isn't a thread about this song, it's a thread about the title.
We get posts every once in a while asking for new sh*t to listen to, so I thought it would be cool to have a thread where we all throw our hats in the ring and suggest a song for the rest of us to check out. I've got one, it is Pokémon, but it is an amazing parody of "Counting Stars"

I thought the first song was pretty good, but I didn't like the second one.

I really like AFI, but I wasn't feeling that song. Though I don't rule out the side project all-together because of it, sometimes songs just need to grow on me.

Some songs I think are overlooked in the USA:
Great song from a band who released their first album Sept 2013. Won Zane Lowe's best record of 2013, a huge endorsement - even bigger is that I think it was the song of the year too.
Lead single off their 5th album. Cracking band who are criminally overlooked outside the UK (as far as I'm aware).
His breakthrough song. Should release his second album this year.

One of my favorite songs at the moment. I love the band. Seriously, check out any song on "Bloods, Cuts, Bruises, Cuts" and I absolutely love every single one of them. Really wish this band would become more mainstream, they seriously deserve it. Plus it proves that Alberta can produce better music than Nickelback, and Canada can produce better music than Justin "I'm a huge  ing tool" Bieber. |

I thought the first song was pretty good, but I didn't like the second one. Only if you like dark rap. I like Cage, hadn't heard that song, but actually sounds like it could be turned into a mashup for a remix of The Wyatt Family's theme song. My favorite song of his is 'Nothing Left To Say' (like 3 songs in one). If I'm sharing one song (despite it being a different style than people here enjoy).....it has to be this & this version build up to a vocal at the end that pays off incredibly well |
