Urgh Reigns is overrated, as he is simply a generic big man. Hate that he is being pushed hard over Ambrose and Rollins. Off topic but wondering where all those WWE supporters are saying for months that we had no patience and that Bryan would win the rumble... Man, I thought that WWE was going to eventually push Bryan. It looked like that was being built. I don't know. I'm not saying that I'm never going to watch again or anything like that, but I am disappointed. I expected more. With the exception of Cena, the title picture is crammed with people that I just don't care about.

Regins would've been the last guy in the Shield that I would've push, but hey it was still cool and he is very good. I'm not happy about Batista winning but it was to soon to have Regins win also.
BRYAN SHOULD OF WON!

I mentioned this in the rumble thread mistakingly so ill include it here as well. Im not convinced at all with Reigns. He has a good look but i think the hype ends there. That spear is so feeble looking that the only person capable of giving it any credit/merit was Ziggler who sold it really well. Time will tell, i hope im proved wrong as i like to see more talent like everyone else.

He was awesome in the Rumble tonight. For sure should have won since he'll at least stick around and have a long career whereas Batista is gone in the summer and is old as (looks about 55).. -_-

I'm not gonna say something stupid like I won't watch wrestling again because in the end I'm a tried and true wrestling fan, but it doesn't mean I can't criticize the product. Bryan has been the most over star for almost a year yet is constantly craped on by Vince. Us constantly being reminded that he beat an injured Cena and Orton beating him 5 minutes later clearly stated the companies position on him. For months I've been called impatient by blinded WWE supporters. I've seen this crap for years and simply see it when it begins over and over again. Guys like Punk and Bryan may get a cup of coffee in the big time but they will always be second bit players to the Cenas and Ortons.

The crowd love him and i dont feel theres any need to give him this big push everyone keeps going on about. The more hes held back (so to speak) the more people will stick with him and continue to get behind him, its perfect psychology if you ask me.

Tonight would be the eqivilent to not having Austin win the RR in 1998. The guy was easily the hottest star on the planet and was the clear choice to win it. Bryan has been the most over star for almost a year yet is constantly being held back. Yes Vince and the Corporation were able to hold Austin back at times but Austin always seemed to get the upper hand in the end. Bryan has never gotten the upper hand once in his feud with the Authority. He has constantly been made to look inept against them. Not pushing him to the top for months has been completely baffling. Yes he doesn't have the "look" the WWE wants in a top star but his popularity right now cannot be denied.

He should of been eliminated when Ambrose tried to throw him out.
Real pissed he beat Kane's record.

He did essentially what I expected him to do. I wasn't particularly impressed, but I don't think the Royal Rumble match is the place to do that anyway. I like Roman, I'm not sold on him as a main event player yet, but I'm sure he'll get there.
By the time he reached that point with eliminations, though, I had lost total interest in the match and was simply reveling in the crowd's equal displeasure. I don't think having him win the match would have been the answer. He's not ready for it yet.
I think a lot of people just see Reigns as a consolation prize to Bryan's exclusion. If you take that away, a win for him doesn't make much sense.

Then hes the guy who no longer can battle his way to the top with all the people against him. He will loose momentum and people will stop caring (if you could imagine that considering how over he is currently) but its true. With Austin it was different, his character needed to win matches because he was bad ass, it would be like john wayne loosing a fight in a western it would go totally against his character. Bryan is like scrappy doo...he'll battle and battle but the audience knows its a loosing battle more often than not and thats exactly why they get behind him.

He was the lesser of two evils at the end of the night. That's really the only reason he got that reaction. How many spears did we see, honestly? Also, let us not forget that Santino got a WAY bigger reaction in the exact same position not that many years ago. I do agree he would have been better than Batista winning, but that's saying very little. ^^THIS And it's funny, because Batista is one of my favorites! Too bad the titles were unified and Batista going after a title means he's gotta go after the main title.

Terrible. This company's priorities are utterly ed up. Why does Reigns in his FIRST royal rumble match gets to eliminate 12 people? because you, he has muscles and does a spear. Reigns is good. Yeah. Good. Not great, not amazing...good. Another guy being shoved down our throats "LOOK AT HOW AMAZING MONSTEROUS INTENSE HE IS, HE THREW 12 PEOPLE OUT IN THE RUMBLE!" Constantly replaying ONLY his moves in matches. off. I'm tired of this crap. I don't want to be TOLD who I should like & cheer for. I don't want to sit through a monster push of a guy who frankly doesn't deserve it. This isn't a "slow build" it's the WWE machine doing what they do best. Telling the fans to go themselves and stroking their own egos because they know best.

He's a beast. WWE seems to have a lot of faith in him.
But, I'll miss Kane holding the record.

The crowd wanted Bryan more then anything. As soon as they realized they werent getting him they jumped on the Roman Empire HARD...... EVERYONE who was at the house I was at did this, only it was when Punk got bounced. But we all knew better. It just got really quiet overall. And these aren't hater types I watch the PPV's with they don't read the IWC or dirt sheets or anything. They just had no reaction to Batista winning and they knew it was coming.

I've been a fan of Reigns for a long time and he's still improving. Maybe he shouldn't have been one of the last guys left, but I'm more than ok with him getting Kane's record.

I like Reigns but I don't like how he no sells a lot of the time. Sometimes it gets as bad as Cena in Superman mode.
