Thoroughly enjoyed the PPV tonight. Still believe it will either be a Triple Threat or Fatal 4 Way at Wrestlemania.

ORRRRRR, he did that on purpose to fool more people into buying the PPV. I am not sure you understand what a liar is. It does matter if it was for PPV buys, it is still a lie. Ohh, I'm not saying it isn't a lie. I'm just saying that they'll do whatever they need to do to get an extra PPV purchase. All they care about is making more money.

I can't remember the last time a WWE PPV had a good ending.

That Shield vs Wyatts match was awesome. Rest of the card was pretty forgettable. Sheamus was the only real standout in the main event, and the finish was delicious, but on the whole, mediocre show apart from the six-man.

My boy gets everything he wants. It was an analogy bro. I had to look up your over exaggerated descriptive noun " schadenfreude" lol, no I don't receive pleasure when I see another fail or suffer misfortune. I just don't smark out for Danial Bryan Hey you learned a new word, so that's a plus! I'm sure I would spoil my kid if I had one. My sister-in-law does, so maybe that's why my bro has to the bad cop. Sadly, Vince McMahon does seem to get off on the suffering of others - and he also likes to Be A Bully and not Be A Star. Hypocrisy at it's finest. If I ever decide to take up German, I've got a great head start Bryan will get his day I'm sure sooner or later just like Eddie & Benoit did.

And now they can't even mention that guys name.
Are they afraid of making that mistake again. 10 years later ?
I honest to god see mania being: Orton vs Batista Kane vs Bryan Cena vs Bray Taker vs Lesnar Yay. Fun fun fun. That's completely irrelevant to the point I was making. You based your entire point on the fact that they gave Benoit the ball 10 years back. I understand that had nothing to do with his tragic demise. But maybe in Vince's old crazy mind he got so traumatized by that that he could never book someone so similar to Benoit to have such a similar career defining moment at such a similar event. It would honestly be like watching mania 20 over again. We would just need punk to come out and hug Bryan with confetti to end the show.

I can't remember the last time a WWE PPV had a good ending. People enjoyed Summerslam but that was before we realized how crappy Orton would be as corporate champ.

I've gotta say, I've actually begun giggling like a school girl when I come on here after a PPV ends to watch people's heads explode over the Bryan backlash. For me, I don't even really care about Daniel Bryan any more. The WWE has succeeded in devaluing him enough I don't think he's anything special. So congrats to them. But I don't really think anybody on the roster is that special, since they are all either stale (Cena, Orton, ADR, Batista, "The Authority") or emasculated (Bryan, Ziggler, Sandow, Orton again). Why do they continue to make their product less and less appealing? Vince trying to get out of the pro rassling biz? And those of you who think you're superior because pro wrestling fans that love this stuff are being driven out of the their minds by the awful booking and outright disdain the WWE has for them are pretty sad. Why are you even on a wrestling figure message board in the first place if you're too cool to care about this stuff? In complete seriousness, I do think the WWE knows they are doing the exact opposite of what we want to see, & its on purpose. I can't imagine for the life of me that they are legit that stupid. I think this is all by design. But the problem is, kinda like you said, it's to a point where you don't have an invested interest in the story anymore. That's where it will hurt their story with the fan in the long run. I'd be in legit shock if Bryan doesn't win the title at WM, & if he's not, I'll be sitting in the Superdome at WM completely dumbfounded.

Ask yourselves from a business perspective: Why WWE would wanna save the most popular guy in years WWE title win for the first PPV on their subscription channel?
Think about it people, cause it ain't rocket science.

Orton vs Batista will be the main event at mania for the WWEWHC. Mark my words. No Bryan. He will face Kane or HHH. And probably lose.

That 6 man match really could've used some 6 man tag team titles! j/k bro, well, kinda

Think about it people, cause it ain't rocket science. And not only that, but they have to be taking into consideration the kind of response the show is going to get if Batista/Orton actually goes forward. They got some negative public attention from mainstream media after the Royal Rumble. Plenty of fresh eyes are on WWE come Wrestlemania season, and they have to know that the crowd of 70,000+ will absolutely tear the show to shreds. Hijacking Raw and Smackdown is one thing, hijacking Pay-Per-Views probably gets under their skin a little, hijacking Wrestlemania is not something I think they're willing to let happen, and they know exactly how to stop it.

Overall thoughts
Awesome PPV. Shield vs Wyatts was the MOTN Although I was rooting for Christian or Cesaro, I accept that the ending makes logical sense. I do hope Bryan or even Christian finally gets a big payoff one day.

Also, from a fans perspective it's really frustrating--especially with how predictable it's become.

Not even close. All you ever do is come in topics and claim that all we are is a bunch of smarks and IWC butthurt fanboys. In reality, I'm just a wrestling fan since age 4 who generally loves the product and will always do so. What we have is passion not butthurt. Just because we don't agree with you or what WWE says we should like doesn't make our voice any less important. I know, he's annoying right? I stopped replying to him ages ago after he quoted me on like every thread. He must have been an attention deprived child.

Can we all make a pact to not tell all the people who have been boycotting WWE since the Royal Rumble/SummerSlam/Battleground/Night of Champions/Hell in a Cell/Survivor Series/TLC what happened tonight? I think they might riot when they hear.
