A prototype LJN MOC? I highly doubt it. That thing would be worth more than the R&B Hammer that was recently found.

There is two current auctions for Snuka and Sheik prototypes (the unpainted ones) but not by Woodrow.
They also include polaroid photos of each guy with the LJN sculptor. This may be a new light on the LJNs.
Another auction I was looking at was for a 1989 catalog and there are no pages for the WWF toys.

I saw those auctions. Very cool, though I don't know what we can derive by confirming the existence of 1:1 unpainted molds. Good to see them at all, though! Very neat indeed.

Since it's still active, I'll comment on the Snuka figure once the auction has ended. I'll just say, when I first looked at that figure I noticed something interesting about it, which was confirmed when I messaged the seller.

After looking at the pics, I thought this figure looked similar in material to my unpainted 8" LJN Sgt. Slaughter prototype bendie figure, which is made from a soft vinyl type material. The seller confirmed that the arms and legs do bend like the LJN bendies and that the rubber on the figure is soft, and that the figure is a bit lighter than the original LJNs. All these things are the same with the Slaughter figure. This leads me to believe that perhaps LJN was possibly was looking into making the 8" figures bendable at first. The seller didn't know what he had until I asked him to check.
This is probably why the lower arm is closer to his torso than the released figure, because it was moved to that position at one point. If the figure is bendable like the seller confirmed, then the arm can be moved back to the original position no problem. If anyone on this board won the auction, maybe they can post better pics, to go along with the pics already posted of the vinyl Slaughter figure. If I had some extra cash I would have purchased the Snuka figure. It would fit good along side the Sarge.

How great does that make you feel about your Sarge now? I seem to recall some doubting its legitimacy.

Remember the original commercial for the 5 back guys?
It had a Snuka yellow kneepads prototype (only seen in this commercial, never an older photo) and also had a kid bending the Hulkster toy, like one may be the bendies toys.

I think its very possible the original plan was to be bendies. even the packages say bend and twist them.
