lol at People craping on TNA for bringing in MVP yet praise the WWE for bringing in 45 year old Batista to main even the biggest show of the year. Uh, nearly everyone has craped on WWE for bringing in Batista I don't see MVP has a huge name being brought in, but I do see him as a fresh, young face who still has several more years of contributions to give to wrestling who can be built up into a big name again, unlike many of the other names TNA has brought in, who have nowhere to go but down. I'm hoping that MVP and the Wolves are signs of whats to come. It could get me to actually watch their show again.

If cm punk was the investor the place would have went nuts. Why didn't tna sign Batista? If tna could get people like Bryan, punk, Batista, cena, they could give wwe a run for their money. I'd pay so much if we could get another Monday night war and wwe went pg13

Does anyone, besides the IWC, even remember who MVP is?? He hasn't been seen in the WWE since, what? 2010? Who the hell cares about him being the new investor? He's not going to put butts in the seats. If Hogan couldn't make TNA number one, MVP isn't going to have much of a chance! To be honest, MVP isn't there to put asses in seats. He's there as an attraction to casual fans, casual fans will see that guys likeSting is there and Angle and Hardy and are on the fence about going, then they see ATTRACTIONS like MVP and Ken Anderson and say to them selves "Okay I like Sting, Angle and Hardy alot and I remember MVP and Mr Kenndy from the WWE. I guess i'll check this company out. Also he's not there to make TNA the number one company, TNA right now is not trying to be the number 1 company and knock WWE off its throne like they were in 2010. 2009/2010 TNA is very different from the TNA right now. Now TNA is just trying to recover from all this crap in the past 4 years they were put threw with Hogan and MVP is there to just improve the product, not to be a guy that makes them #1. TNA didn't bring him thinking "Okay this is OUR GUY! This is the guy that will make our company #1." He coming in as an attraction and as someone who will just make the overall product better. very good point!

Why wouldn't TNA overhype their own product? "This week on TNA, we're going to introduce a former WWE mid carder. Shucks, I sure hope y'all tune in..." No, you're going to attempt to convince the audience it's going to be a can't miss moment for TNA so people check it out. It's not really that complicated, and it's really the only marketing TNA does. That's right, TNA markets to the audience that's already watching.
I'm a fan of MVP. I think this angle has been interesting so far. If MVP walked back into WWE it would have been awesome as well because I wanted him back on my TV, period. Why can't TNA just add guys to the roster who are going to help contribute and make their product better? It's a better use of money than giving more money to guys like Hogan and Biscoff who aren't going to even talk about where they work for 3 years.
TNA is essentially starting over. The checkbook is closed, their flagship superstar in AJ Styles is gone, and the majority of their bloated veteran contracts are rolling off the books. TNA needs to focus on one show at a time. Then focus on stringing together multiple good shows, and then maybe they can worry about playing in the big leagues again. The truth though, is that TNA is a niche product. Had TNA come to terms with that 4 years ago they wouldn't be in this position. TNA can only grow organically because unless Panda, or a similar company, is going to use their wallet to steal active talent off the WWE roster, then we'll never have a war again.
I just don't understand who everyone was expecting? Who would have made you happy? Desmond Wolfe was the only really good idea I read on here and even that would have been a let down for plenty of people. Heyman's in WWE, AJ's gone, Jarrett walked away from his baby. I mean who was coming out of that curtain to save TNA for you?

He's just another wrestler added to the TNA Roster calm down now guys. It's Not 2010 anymore where all the old WWE talent came and buried the TNA talent.

Yeah I felt that if MVP had stuck around in the WWE he'd be in the main event scene, but that's what I'm looking forwards to in seeing how he develops in TNA, the guy's great on the mic and carries himself well, I just don't hope it goes down the path of when Foley did the same angle. But him pairing with the Wolves is going to be interesting, considering their wrestling backgrounds, hopefully a potential flow of up and coming Indy Talent will suffice. If they start doing yet another freaking stable storyline though, I'm bailing.

People crap on wwe because of Batista because it undercuts Daniel Bryan who I'm kinda gettin sick of myself. People crap on tna for MVP because to tna this mid card nobody is a big deal and were supposed to all of a sudden accept him as legit.

I laughed when they made a huge deal about this "mystery" guy. Gave him the whole "sitting in the limo" routine throughout the show, Gave him some big time deal intro to his debut, You start thinking that this could be HUGE, A legend is about to make his arrival.. Then out comes MVP.
I just face palmed and went on my way. TNA is a joke. MVP's greatest fued in WWE was with Matt Hardy for the US title and this is how they are going to debut him? I wonder how long it is because he is TNA Champion.
They did this exact bullcrap for those mediocre MMA fighters and football player, They hype it up like they are going to bring Brock Lesnar or Stone Cold Steven Austin out or something, Then they bring out some no names that nobody knows about. Overhyping these debuts are actually hurting TNA because its disappointing as hell.
