This is pretty much an impossible question for me to answer. Each "best" book has it's own strengths and weaknesses. Not only that, but to truly be fair, you'd have to compare it to other literature at the time. For instance, H. G. Wells is considered one of the best novelists, but he wouldn't exist without Jules Verne, so, being the inventor of an entire genre, Verne has the upper hand by default.

Tough Question here guys: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee has to come in first place for me. Yourself? Watership Down it is like 3 books in one & absolutely flawless....the epilogue especially hits hard emotionally after such an amazing story think, Lord Of The Rings meets The Stand meets The Bible (the stories, not the religious theme)

I'm a big fan of To Kill a Mockingbird and Animal Farm also, but I've already seen those mentioned.

Holes by Louie Sacher is a very good book.
My favorite series would have to be Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. Very, very great series.

I have always loved Edgar Allen Poe. "The Raven" was my favorite, but he has so many classics, that I can't just choose one.
As far as wrestling Biographys, Jericho's books were fun, aswell as the WWE Road Stories book.

Best book? Not sure, but my favorite book is "Bret Hart: My Life In The Cartoon World Of Wrestling". I hope one day to meet him and get him to sign my copy.

Bret's book was amazing. My favourite is Mein Kampf, such an amazing story of how Hitler saw the world and the reasons for his shenanigans. I do not condone what he did in the slightest but his book was extremely compelling and it gave me the chills each time I read it.

Currently reading Night Film by Marisha Pessl Can't put it down, its about a controversial film makers daughter who commits suicide, and an investigative journalist is trying to find out what really happened.
I really love this book because it has an app, a decoder app to scan logos throughout the book that provide special content such as movie posters, music etc.

I read a lot, its hard for me to pick a best book, my favorite though is "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman and a close second is "The Satanic Verses" by Salman Rushdie. Also would rank them like that as top two modern authors.
