just saw that mezco are going to produce sons of anarchy figures. seriously pumped up for this. sons of anarchy is one of my favourite tv shows at the moment. anyone else excited? |

Mezco figures are basically statues. And I wouldn't expect them to make more than Jax and Clay. The Breaking Bad line has only had 5-6 Walt variants so far.

Yeah, we talked about this awhile back in the Sons thread on the Entertainment board. I'm excited that we are getting them, but I'm expecting zero articulation. The Walter White scan is incredible though so I'm looking forward to having a really accurate Charlie figure. Honestly, I'd be content with just getting Jax. Ideally I'd like all of Jax, Clay, Opie, and Chibs, but I likely wouldn't go much beyond that honestly.
I will say this, Funko has the Sons of Anarchy license because they just came out with POP! figures. This is similar to the Game of Thrones situation, which is why we are able to get Legacy figures from Funko because the Dark Horse "figures" are really just statues. So this might open the door to see Sons figures in either the Legacy or ReAction line if I were to guess. I'm going to wait and see. Mezco makes great statue style figures because of the likeness so I might be completely content with what we get. I'm guessing we'll see these in about two weeks.

I'll definitely be buying the Jax and Clay. Not sure about the prison ones though... they could've used those two spots for Opie and Chibs (or others).

I think if they were going to do anyone in the prison garbs it should have been Opie, or even a SDCC exclusive Otto figure. Jax and Clay should be amazing though so I'll take what I can get. Hopefully we get a series 2, but we still don't even have a Mezco Pinkman from BB, so who knows what we will see beyond this initial wave. |

The prison figs look awesome. The street clothes look a bit off in my opinion.

Yeah, the scans are definitely off. Are they different? The prison scan looks better on Jax than the street clothes version. Hopefully someone shoots these down for final approval and they try again haha. Ugh, why couldn't they just get these perfect.
