Anyone else here like Jurassic Park figures? I thought this would be a good thread to discuss the good old days of Jurassic Park, The Lost World Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III figures.

They were so awesome, but my mom always said they were too expensive, so the only figure I have is Nedry. Why the hell I wanted Nedry over the rest of the first series of action figures, I'll never know. My grandma got me a Dr. Grant figure YEARS after the fact (along with one of those weird Crash Dummies with the neon suit and big chin), at that point, Nedry and his accessories were lost. I wanted one of those SUVs in the worst way.

I think he meant the dinosaurs were expensive.I had a couple of humans and 1 raptor when I was kid and a couple of years back I went on an eBay shopping frenzy for them and now I have MOST of the humans and several dinosaurs as well as some of the vehicles. I do have most (about 85%) of the JP3 collection, too.

When I was 7, I had a birthday party and got a ton of JP figures. I remember having Grant, Ellie, Tim, Muldoon and Nedry with a raptor and the big t-rex. It was awesome. I remember the Nedry was skinny and you could pull his arms off hahaha.
I always wanted Lex (had a crush on her as a kid) and the command center

The Command Centre is a thing of Beauty. Kenner were tough to beat in the playset dept. I display mine proudly with as many JP guys as I can get in there. Took me ages to get a movie accurate Tembo though......

I would love to have my Jurassic Park figures back. Had just about all of them back in the day, including the sweet camo jeep and Command Center playset. Had all the humans and at least one of most the dinosaurs too. Like a dope, I sold them at a garage sale before moving years ago. Sold those and a ton of vintage TMNT, Power Ranger, Transformer, G.I. Joe, and super hero toys. A few old video game systems too. I really wish I'd never done that. Had a girlfriend at the time who was all on my arse about being 20 years old and having a bunch of toy collections, so I sold them for way less than they were worth. I've moved on from most of them, but still miss the JP toys (and the Dinoriders - those two series were always my favorites). Too bad some of them are so darn expensive nowadays.

I SURE hope that when Jurassic World comes out next year that Kenner oops...Hasbro will make Jurassic park toys again. You are right. The ones on Ebay are VERY expensive. I will buy the heck out of them if they make it to Toys R Us.

Kenner stuff is expensive?
back in 2008 I dropped a heap of cash with one seller on Ebay who had a VERY impressive selection for ages and nothing was too expensive......except
TLW: Bull T-Rex.picked it up mint complete and loose for a decent price though
TLW: The High Hide with Vince Vaughn's character "Nick Van Owen"
TLW: Movie Accurate Roland Tembo(came with a bike etc)
TLW: Ajay.....very tricky to get.
TLW : Kelly....don't have her and never will but she was rare because she was only included with The Command Centre truck
JP: The Jungle Explorer was tough to come by.....understandable because it was the main vehicle.
I know heaps of people didn't care for them but I always liked the addition of the non movie characters.
Jaws Jackson is the driver of my Bush Devil Tracker Jeep
Harpoon Harrison is the pilot of my capture Copter.
also......heres a great site for your JP needs. its Archive pics of the toys are 2nd to none.
I also got all the characters from Congo to pad out the Command Centre. mostly repaints with new heads.

Series 2 Eddie Carr is usually the cheaper out of the three

Ajay,Movie Accurate Tembo,Nick Van Owen & Kelly seem to be the priciest. nothing(figure wise) from the first movie seems to be.
Its weird how spy/merc like the Nedry figure is.......obviously its based on early concepts so the figures could be completed but still....LOL.I love it though. same with Ludlow in TLW.
still though.....love them all. LOVE Kenner actually.
my Vintage Toy collection is dominated by them.....
M.A.S.K. Centurions Robocop & The Ultra Police Silverhawk's JP/TLW The Super Powers ALien's/Predator Batman Movies Batman Animated Kenner Superman Swamp Thing SW POTF2
and Im sure Im forgetting something

The Triceratops from the first line, the big one, is one of the most wonderful looking toys I've ever seen. Not to mention the Thrasher T-Rex, the Bull T-Rex and the Mobile Command Center. The Jurassic Park line was so freaking good.
