I apologize if this is the wrong place to put it, but I don't know where else it would be apt. I mean this is fantasy booking. Anyways, I won't spend the next 3 days writing up some long winded speech but basically the idea I have in mind and would love to do would be a mix of fantasy booking, with the sense of real competition. Friendly competition mind you. In theory, I'd get 8 guys or so, with a few guys to judge the respective products. Then we'd come up with a weekly report/show/ whatever, and the judges would vote on whatever was the better product. The catch would be that, much like playing GM Mode or EWR, the teams would get the chance to sign talent, release talent, and do a few other "backstage" style things.
Also, it wouldn't just be WWE vs TNA or WWF vs WCW, we could pick any feds, time frames, even make up feds to use with this. So in theory again, we could have WWF vs WCW circa 1992 or WSX vs WWE's version of ECW or whatever. Just a way to not limit this and have some variety. If this sounds interesting at all, please respond and maybe we can get the ball rolling.

there was something similar to this a while back. It fizzled REALLY quickly, but it's why WCWA is based out of California, Nevada, Oregon, etc.
I don't mean to cut you down, but it's just extremely difficult to pull off because collaborations as a whole are damn near impossible. The only long term collaboration I can EVER remember working on this board, and I've been around this board for 11 years now, was the merger of LWF & DCW, to create DCLW. Two different bookers, two different federations, became one and lasted for a while

Me and a few guys did something like this over on another forum I'm part of and it's seriously a lot of fun.
How we did it was we randomly split up current day wrestlers from WWE, TNA, ROH, PGW, Chikara, CZW in to 8 teams and then these would be given to each guy each with 2 wrestling legends, 1 manager and a commissioner and that would be your starting roster, you then had a month to trade with each other by either trading wrestlers or by using your starting budget. Two weeks in to trading the foreign market opened and each day you were allowed to make two bids on any wrestler not in the game, this could be ANYONE who has been involved with wrestling but you had to give a reason why...for example if your roster consisted mainly of high flying lucha guys bringing in Necro Butcher wouldn't exactly make sense.
Once the trading period was over you'd begin to post your shows, each week you would face off against a different member taking part and the other guys would vote for who they thought wrote the best show and this would continue for a few weeks until the first few face offs had taken place, you'd then have the PPV week where people would vote for which PPV they thought was the best to worst and then back to the face offs. At the end of the regular season the top four teams then go on to the semi finals and then the finals with a season winner being picked.
I've been involved with two seasons so far and won my first, it's a lot of fun but it's so much hard work and can be disappointing when people stop competing half way through leaving you with bye weeks which in my opinion messes up the eventual winner.
