I know I am taking this completely out of context but I have been on the forums lurking since 2004 and this is by far the best quote I have seen. Like, why not paint Kurt Angle green for Ramadan?

Wasn't Classic Superstars Series 9 also effected by Chinese New Year? I could swear that was one of the reasons for got for the set being lackluster.

I watched the toy fair video above and after seeing it, I'm sorry, but the majority of that new stuff coming out looks like a bunch of junk. I wouldn't buy any of it. I think the 31" figures will be a flop. I don't care how detailed they are, I think they are too damn big. I know their job is to hype up and try to sell their products, but none of that crap shown interests me in the least. Looks like a bunch of junk you'd find in a bin or cardboard box at a yard sale.

Fair play to Jeremy for addressing that Chinese New Year comment.
While he did good work with Jakks, the line towards the end was horrible in some instances.
All the products WCT had on display looked bad, other than the scale ring which looks like they bought the rights to use it from Mattel.
They're already scrimping on the 31" line. The CM Punk sculpt has a t-shirt on so they don't have to do any of the torso tattoos.

Toy Guru did an hour of in depth presentation on the MOTUC & DC figures with Pixel Dan. He doesn't even have talking points for WWE? Theres nobody at the WWE Mattel booth to talk to I bet WWE is making Mattel more $$$ then DC and He-Man combined. Ugh. I'm so jealous. Those dang he-man collectors get every character that was ever in an episode of the cartoon. The DC fans get every obscure member of some obscure sub-team. and i have to beg for a Doink, KoKo b ware, JYD, Otunga, Usos, PTP and 3MB elites

The DC fans get every obscure member of some obscure sub-team. NOPE. I don't think I've met or talked to a single collector that's been happy with the last two years of DCUC releases. The stuff they presented during TF is absolute TRASH.

No wonder the DC sub didn't go through....when they're putting out stuff no-one wants

It seems like people are forgetting the crap Jakks put out, I remember figures with different coloured arms than torsos, wrist taped molded arms with no paint, no deco on backs of figures. Horrible knee pads, Seeing Jeremy at toy fair is the opposite for me. Yea he knows what legends people want and what attires are iconic but Jakks figures were lazy and often used wrong parts or were missing detail. I don't want that again, i would never buy another Jakks figure.

I think a lot of this is marketed towards a younger crowd. And lets not forget, everything that you find in a cardboard box at a yard sale was bought from a store once.
