I honestly couldn't imagine my life without wrestling. I've loved it since the first time I watched sitting on my Dad's lap on Saturday evening. I can't say that I like or agree with everything WWE or TNA does these days, but by and large, I still enjoy the shows far more than anything that's been on TV in the past several years. It does get difficult to sit back and watch WWE make what seems like such an obvious mistake (I'm looking at you impending Orton vs Batista WrestleMania main event - you too the utter mismanagement of CM Punk since 2010), but for every bad thing that goes down, there's always a pretty top quality match or segment to balance it out. I might not always like everything, but I still love the overall package.

Also the part about how I have watched for so long and quitting just isn't an option. I quit watching from about 09-11 and boy I regret it.

Part of me does watch out of habit. Veen watching for 30+ years now. I don't watch as much as I used to though. Yeah Raw every Monday, and Smackdown most (not every) Friday. Couldn't be bothered about Superstars,Main Event or even getting ppv. There was a time where I was getting every ppv from wwf/wcw/ecw. And as for TNA, I find myself watching when its live or when something I care to see will be on. Certainly not every week. Its just become so predictable lately, and seems like there could be more done, creatively, to flesh out the mid carders and build them up better for the long term. Daniel Bryan, the Wyatts, and the Shield are the only newer characters to get any long term build. Everyone else not named Cena,Orton,Batista,HHH etc. seems to just flounder around with no direction. That would be what I would change if I could change any 1 aspect of the current product

I grew up on wrestling. I'd watch it with my grandpa and my dad. It's always going to be something I enjoy and I will watch it (even if it leaves me a bit frustrated at times).
Even if something else comes along that interests me more (I watch TNA a few times a month), I'll still watch RAW and Smackdown (Well, I DV-R Smackdown and fast forward a lot).

Anyways my question to you all is what keeps you around(Why do you continue to watch WWE)? Partly habit, mainly because to quote Shawn Michaels, "I love this stuff!" The magic moments like the Punk pipebomb, Cena annihilating Dwayne "Keep Trending" Johnson, Daniel Bryan proving he's not the weak link, the rise of Roman Reigns. The great matches. In the last few years, stuff like the HHH vs Undertaker WrestleMania matches... Cena vs Lesnar... Cena vs Punk on Raw this time last year... HHH vs Lesnar at Extreme Rules... Cena vs Bryan. And the LOLs at stuff that I know is going to cause huge butthurt. Nash at SummerSlam 2011 is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in wrestling, and Rey Mysterio being #30 in the Rumble this year was almost as good. The Sheamus-Bryan 18 seconds was another. There's a lot to look forward to, I just have to skip through a bunch of long, pointless matches to get there.

I've been a wrestling fan my whole life. It's one of my hobbies to follow and that won't change. Doesn't mean I have to enjoy everything the wwe does.

Basically. I watch when it's at its best and when it's at its worst.

Because unlike the majority I do enjoy watching Triple H and Randy Orton. That and Joker being this boards mod.

I've been watching wrestling since around 1998 or so when I was about 6 years old, it's always been a huge part of my life, I love it & without it there'd be a significant gap in my life.

Wyatts, Bryan, Ziggler, Shield, Cody Rhodes is decent, but I mostly watch because I loved it in the past.... and I hope to see some small glimpse of what I used to love... something to take me back. I am constantly in search of it.

I thought about this a bit, and my answer is the same as some others - hope. Hope that Vince's stubbornness and volatility will somehow stop messing up a show that is filled with talented wrestlers. So many guys start to get over and then the WWE loses interest in them or pushes them aside for the same old stuff or some corny jokes. And either the creative team doesn't even try or Vince shoots them down over and over and we get never ending stories like Total Divas vs non-Total Divas or the Authority vs everybody.

Eh, no matter how good or bad it is (and it's generally a mixture of both) - WWE feels like home to me. No matter what's happening in my life, good times, tough times, I always know I can tune in to Monday Night Raw and generally be entertained.... yea, I get mad when they put out a really BAD Raw...... but I used to get mad watching WCW week after week too - but I kept watching, waiting for it to improve.
I don't actually hate the current WWE product as much as many people on here right now..... I definitely hate the way they're under-using guys like Ziggler, Sandow, etc..... and I miss the great comedy that used to come from Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.... and it boggles my mind that they can't seem to find compelling weekly stories for ALL the wrestlers - my friends and I fantasy book all the time, and our ideas (which seem like no-brainers) are generally ten times better than what actually happens on WWE TV.
Sometimes, I even get fed up and take a break for a couple weeks.... but I generally miss the "fun" that WWE brings and end up coming back....

There is a lot of good wrestlers right now. Ziggler, Miz, Swagger, Cesaro, Ambrose, Bryan, Orton, Cena, Cody, Christian, Sandow, Bray, Harper... All good reasons to watch.
