Back in the 70's there was a couple 12 - 13" motorized climbing figures made by Remco of Batman and Spider-Man. I really wanted the Batman but that was the one figure my parents never bought for me. The only other toys I wanted but never got were the Mego Batcave and PotA Tree fort.

That's a good question. I wasn't spoiled. I may not have gotten all the toys I wanted at the time I wanted them, but I got pretty much everything I wanted eventually. If not for Christmas, then on my Birthday, or vise-versa.
I didn't get the Ecto-1 for Christmas, but rather my next birthday. Or one Christmas, I really wanted the WWF Steel Cage that went with the LJN ring. In all fairness, I forgot to specify "WWF", and my parents got me the AWA steel cage ring. Way out of scale for my LJNs, but I was so grateful to have a cage, that I made it work.

When Star Wars first came out I got a lot of the 3" figures but what I really wanted and never got was the Millennium Falcon. I had a Space 1999 shuttle that I used with the Star Wars figures but it wasn't the same

That Space 1999 ship was the Eagle 1 right? I had that. I lost one of the pilots in the snow one year. lol
I don't remember anything about the show anymore but I loved that toy ship.

Yeah, pretty sure it was called the Eagle 1. I loved it too. I played with it so much that it reached the point of being broken beyond repair but I still kept the parts as battlefield debris.

That was a favorite toy of mine. I think the thing I liked most about it was the escape hatch in the cargo area. ah the little things. lol

This one's easy for me: I still want it now. But you can't get it for less than like $100 on eBay and I just can't justify that.

So many GI Joe ARAH figures and playsets. For the ARAH figures I did have when I was a kid, most are no longer in my collection for one reason or another. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the GI Joe Mobile Command Center. There are also a lot of figures from the Toy Biz TNA and GI Joe 30th Anniversary lines I missed out on and looking to purchase now.

Those Tyco Incredible Crash Dummies figures. I wanted them when I was 3 but I never got them.

That was the only Indy figure I did have from the original line. Unfortunately my cat got hungry one day and chewed off his thumb of his drawing hand. lol

^^^ I had the TMNT Technodrome as a kid. Totally awesome playset.
I must admit, I was pretty spoiled in terms of toys when I was young. Never lacked for much and I think my parents sort of felt sorry for me in that I didn't have any real friends, so I ended up getting a lot of toys. There were a few that had eluded my grasp though...
- The Brontosaurus Dino-Riders set. I was lucky enough to have most of Dino-Riders, but we never could find that one. - The Bull T-Rex from the Jurassic Park line. My parents tried for ages to find that thing and we never could. I did have a few T-Rexs from other lines. A couple generic rubber ones, the purple Master Of The Universe one, and the Dino-Riders one that made good fill ins, but never did find the official JP one. - 3030... Marshall BraveStar's horse. That was probably the toy I wanted most as a kid, but never had.
But, all in all, I'm not complaining. I had a ton of toys as a kid.

The U.S.S. Flagg. We didn't have enough space in our little apartment. Now it is almost impossible to get.

Unfortunately my cat got hungry one day and chewed off his thumb of his drawing hand. lol The thumbs on that figure are the devil from what I can tell. That's probably the biggest issue with all the loose versions of it that I see on ebay. There is either cracking by the thumbs or they are completely broken off. But yeah, pets will do that haha. My cat was a big cord chewer so I had a Nintendo power cord or two destroyed, and definitely controllers.

The MMPR Power Dome. I remember seeing a huge display filled with the thing at Wal-Mart when they first came out, and Mom said "maybe for your birthday." Fast-forward to my birthday, no Power Dome. Mom said she never saw it again, which I would believe to be true, 'cuz I never saw them in stores past that one instance, either. I nearly popped on one that came with almost no accessories and some stickers peeling off for fifty dollars a few months back, but came to the realization that at least ONE of those pieces missing would probably be near impossible to find without throwing over half of a paycheck at it, so I declined.

The U.S.S. Flagg. We didn't have enough space in our little apartment. Now it is almost impossible to get. Same. My mom wouldn't get it because it was too big and because of the price. I later found it on clearance at Sears for 20 bucks. And I had my own money to buy it. But my mom wouldn't let me buy it because it was too big.

My Flagg was probably fully set up for only about a month after getting it. After that, I used the bridge as a playset and laid the runway pieces out on the floor as needed without the hull. ...... as an adult I have lucked out and got these for amazing prices. my wife bought me the defiant a couple years ago for valentines day, and her parents bought me the flagg for my birthday 5 years ago... These are the women I need to meet .
