My apologies if theres an official thread for this somewhere, I'm not in this section of the forums much though. Does anyone know when we will be hearing rumblings about WWE 2k15? Maybe I'm wrong but isn't it generally around the Feb/Mar time frame?

2K released a statement saying that WWE 2k15 along with some other games would be on next gen consoles. That's all I know.

I think most of the news will be released around Summerslam, 'cause they usually reveal the roster at SS Axxess

Some news will probably trickle out in the spring and then roster reveal in August.

I just want the game to be fun and have a good single player mode. It seems to me that all people really worry about these days is the roster and they do not care about how the game actually plays. I want a great roster like the next guy, but not if the game has no soul and is boring to play after a couple of weeks. I really hope that this year we will see more of 2K Games influence as last year for me they got a free pass, but now they have had the WWE license long enough to put there own stamp on it
I really hope that as well as the inevitable WWE 2K15 we get another more fun arcade style game like All Stars.

Well there a some things i saw on a German News side
1. That Punk is maybe not going to be in the Game
2. They wont release any Update for WWE2K14 because they want to focus on a new engine for WWE2K15 and that it will be releaed on XBone, PS4, X360, PS4 and Wii U

All I hope is that its released on PS3. Unless there are substantial differences in the next gen version (more superstars etc) I'm not going to make the jump yet.

This is going to be more or less like the last generation, I imagine. The first series or two of games on the Xbox One and PS4 will have better graphics and higher frame rate, but nothing additional content wise. Then as the gap gets bigger between the two generations of consoles, they will do more for the newer systesm and start to exclude more from the older ones.

Unless they do a totally new engine that would cause current gen to run at 30 fps, the PS4/Xbox One games won't run at a higher framerate since I'm pretty sure 2K14 runs at 60 frames per second. I wouldn't be shocked if this was the last game we get on current generation consoles given how quickly the PS4 is building a pretty nice install base. Add to that how monstrously expensive it is to develop for the PS4/Xbox One on top of how expensive it is to develop for PS3/360 and I could see 2K15 being it for PS3/360.

I don't think we should get our hopes up for anything epic, Its gonna take a year or 2 for them to really harness the power of the new consoles & rehaul the game and for this year their definetly not going to have any dramatic changes considering their still including PS3, 360 & for the love of God Nintendo -.-
I just hope they go for a more story driven approach and not just pick up and play because for me that got real old real quick!

It hasn't been confirmed that they're releasing a Wii U version. 2K doesn't even release NBA 2K for the Wii U, why would they bother with WWE 2K? And have you seen the graphical difference between NBA 2K14 on PS3/PS4? It's like night and day. They've already got a next-gen engine and I'm willing to bet they're going to start migrating all of the stuff Yuke's works on over to this engine. I recall reading something that they started scanning the WWE guys for use with their next-gen engine. Seriously, 2K are already showing what's going to be possible with these systems going forward. Look at the difference here. One looks like a video game, the other looks like an actual photograph of Ray Allen. PS3 on the left, PS4 on the right.

As far as NBA goes, 2K doesn't have the guys read every line off of a script. They have certain canned lines and then the big moments (a buzzer beater, a big dunk, etc) are done when they show the commentary team live gameplay footage to get their reaction. THQ claimed to have done this with WWE 13 and it was still terrible. The problem is that the guys who call WWE are terrible at delivering scripted commentary lines. They just read them, no emotion or anything. Look at Jim Ross last year. Jim Ross is the best commentator ever, but when you give him a script and tell him to read---that's what you get.
