How did Bishoff find out the taped results? From an inside source? There obviously wasn't any dirt sheets at the time. Hes in the wrestling business. Its possible That's what I'm saying. Did Bishoff have a source inside WWE that gave him all the results say if Bishoff paid said person? That's what I meant.

Was not expecting that format at all. Wow! I am blown the away. I watched the MNW from the day I was born in 95 but I cannot obviously remember anything prior to 98. I'm ing stoked for this after that episode.

I wish I was around during the MNW. But I was born 2000. Son of a gun I can tell the Monday Night War was something you had to have witnessed to fully appreciate it. I was six years old when Nitro debuted and I remember watching that first episode. When Lex Luger made his surprise return to WCW, it really set the industry in motion. Hell, I remember watching Luger wrestle in the WWF just mere days if not weeks. I can assure you this series will be a huge history lesson to you and to those who were not around when it happened. How did Bishoff find out the taped results? From an inside source? There obviously wasn't any dirt sheets at the time. Easy. There were newsgroups at the time where a small minute percentage of fans would share the results with everybody. Also, it could have been through an inside source that Eric Bischoff had at the time. Newsgroups were a means of sharing information around the internet at the time. To think we have social media now is mind blowing. I am HIGHLY impressed with the sneak preview for the Monday Night War series. It far exceeded my expectations and really brought me back to my childhood. Seeing all of those clips and remembering back to the 1990's really demonstrates how long I have been a fan of. I enjoyed they mentioned the success of WrestleMania, syndicated TV, the advent of Monday Night RAW, and how the war between Turner Broadcasting and Vince McMahon had been brewing for many years. I will watch the inaugural edition of Nitro the second it is up.

It was indeed Summer Rae at ringside the night Bob Barker hosted Monday Night Raw.
Summer Rae @realsummerwwe · Jul 3 That's me as a fan! - @streetfightersk - @realsummerwwe - was watching wwe countdown - I saw you in the clip front row.

She was with Jermaine Dye and Gordon Beckham who at the time played with the Chicago White Sox.

How did Bishoff find out the taped results? From an inside source? There obviously wasn't any dirt sheets at the time. There was definiately dirt sheets at the time - I used to get the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Pro Wrestling Torch back in high school and that was late 80s. (and they are still alive to this day even in print form) Bischoff either got the news from them or as someone said above - got the info from newsgroups/message boards - or had friends within the WWE that told him the results. Nice of the WWE blaming the dogs for them not having a RAW the night of the first Nitro - it was actually the US Open Tennis Tournament that was on that night.

You couldn't receive a newsletter at the snap of a finger.

I was unable to watch it but it seems to be getting high praise, so I can't wait to get the chance to see it. If the Monday Night Wars went from 1995-2001, then I was between the ages of 5 and 11 during it. Even though I was young, it was an incredible thing to be a part of.

@bashcrashwiley, you're sure to appreciate this. This Friday night at 10:30PM the WWE Network's schedule lists an original special called "WrestleMania 13: Austin vs. Hart." It's only 30 minutes so I don' think it's a WrestleMania Rewind.
They will also be airing the Ultimate Warrior and Daniel Bryan specials throughout the week, as well as some Saturday Night's Main Event starting Saturday night at 8PM. WrestleMania XXX will also air Sunday at 8PM.

Anyone know what countdown and rewind are tomorrow? Wrestlemania Rewind - CM Punks Money In The Bank Wins at Wrestlemania 24 and Wrestlemania 25. (This one should have aired before the MITB PPV.) WWE Countdown - Top Ten Returns - Mainly wrestlers returning from injuries (John Cena, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels) or if they have been away from the ring for awhile for other reasons (The Rock, Brock Lesnar) Re-Saturday Nights Main Event - the first three SNMEs air back to back to back - 8:00 pm ET-11:00 pm ET on Saturday Night with them being replayed directly after - 11:00 pm ET-2:00 am ET.
