Just watched both Royal Rumble 2001 and Raw 7/16/01 Does anyone know why Austins Disturbed theme is dubbed over on the Rumble event but not the Raw episode? Seems strange. It depends on what source they used to upload to the Network. I know the original Royal Rumble '01 DVD has the Disturbed theme intact but IIRC the Royal Rumble Anthology version has it dubbed over (which is what they must of uploaded).

Watched the second episode of Nitro. I freaking hate the dungeon of doom. Nothing about that group of misfits is intimidating. I also can't help be wonder why they made Scott Norton look so strong. They ultimately did nothing with him right? There was his team with Buff Bagwell. Vicious and Delicious! Delicious?

The 2001 Royal Rumble that was uploaded is a hybrid between the original 2001 DVD and the 2007 Anthology release.

Watched the first episode of the Monday Night War and I'm done with that. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't know that they were full of sh-t and just revising history. Plus, Miz was horrible and came off really fake and forced. That whole series could have been good had they not whitewashed it, but it is to be expected I guess. Now, bring on the ing Rivalries series.

Is anyone else having problems playing anything right now? Anything I try to play comes up with a message that reads "media not found: The content or event is not found." I tried playing episodes of raw, wcw, summer slam, legends house, nothing will work. And if I try to go to the live stream it says "General System Error"
I'm running on a ps3, any help is appreciated.

It did it for any Network Original Specials, but I'm watching classic Raws fine.

Ah gotcha, yea I keep finding random things on the network. I remember 2003 was a bad year for DVD releases with dubbed over themes, mostly Flairs, Van Dams, and Bookers. It seems like they have been fixed for the network though. Looks like a crap shoot for theme dubbing, at least for WWE guys. WCW themes seem to get dubbed no matter what (Jericho, Raven, Page, Hogan/Voodoo Child)

I'm watching the live airing for RAW from 1998. I could have watched it earlier today, but I was at school. I remember as a kid when my mother bought me a Best of RAW from 1998, I remember the segment where Austin stunned Vince again.

The ones for the Network aren't too bad; it's funny seeing Jericho on WCW with his WWE music playing.

Sucks that most of the guys that had cool music such as Raven, Page, Jericho, Hogan, Revolution all had to have their themes dubbed over. My question now is how exactly did WCW get away with that back then? Did they pay royalties, or were royalties not really a thing back then? I remember after the napster issue that everyone went into legal protection mode with stuff.

I remember after the napster issue that everyone went into legal protection mode with stuff. Most of the WCW music not made by Jimmy Hart/whoever was stock music made by various companies and used for various purposes. I remember the nWo music being in a porno or some crap. I don't think they really cared too much about royalties for music then as they do now; WWE probably figured it was easier/less of a hassle to dub in their in-house stuff over the originals.
