I finally watched an episode of the Monday Night Wars after a month or two of not watching the series. I watched the most previous episode with Bischoff. It was good. Also, I noticed on the schedule that on January 5, there will be a new episode of WWE Countdown, counting down the top 10 crybabies. Pretty interesting since there wasn't an episode since September/November (I don't wanna count the Survivor Series countdown as an episode)

The only reason that I can come up with for not having one since November is that they had a bunch of polls running on WWE.com about what seemed like to be topics that would be Countdown-worthy, so they've probably been putting the newer episodes together in the meantime.

I'll be honest, with the low subscription numbers, and no new episodes since September, I kinda figured they dumped Countdown as a cost cutting measure. glad to see it's back. also, noticed the Bischoff episode of the Monday Night War is the 18th episode. it's only significant because, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it announced as a 20-episode series? if so, we already know episode 19 is about Russo, leaving only 1 episode left to wrap it up. I hope it's a 2-hour special (being the "Series Finale"), and that it delves into the last days of the War, showing how badly things had gotten for WCW while simultaneously how good thing had gotten for WWF. go into the creative and financial mistakes that plagued WCW from late 99 onwards. and I want in depth details about how the Fusient Media deal to buy WCW fell apart, and how Vince came in to grab it from those involved ( Bischoff,Vince) , as well as what the feelings were in WCW among the talent during that last week, again, from those who were there ( Sting, Flair,Booker T,Jimmy Hart, Rey. etc.).

Yep, Monday Night War is a 20 episode series; plus WWE is releasing them on DVD and I think bluray in March this year in 3 volumes. They probably will address the troubles WCW had in the late 90s if not in its own episode then maybe in the episode on Russo.

I keep hoping they will add more episodes to the hall of fame section. They have plenty of stuff they could add to it....

Adding the April 17th, 2000 Raw is fantastic. Chris Jericho's title win and the Linda/Stephanie/Shane/Triple H/Rock segment is pure gold. That crowd was on fire.
And people say there is't enough AE stuff on there.

What's everyone's opinions of the Rivalries series? I haven't started it yet, but was looking for some feedback

What's everyone's opinions of the Rivalries series? I haven't started it yet, but was looking for some feedback I generally enjoy them. Austin vs Vince was all stuff we've seen a million times before, but Flair-Rhodes, Triple H-Michaels, and Hogan-Piper all added some info that I had never heard before. case in point - I never knew Freddie Blassie intentionally sabotaged Piper's first tryout in the WWF ( then . haven't watched the E & C vs Hardy's one yet.

I was surprised to find I really like the Quick Hits section. lots of memories there. I urge everyone to watch the Funeral Parlor with the Ultimate Warrior segment on there. a perfect example of how feuds/angles used to be set up the right way!

Re-watched the 40 man 2011 Royal Rumble match last night. Santino should've won.
Fell asleep watching the 1993 Rumble match because Ric Flair and Bob Backlund were entry #1 and #2.

I love them. Easily one if the best originals they've put out. It doesnt seem like you're watching the same interviews week after week like most of the shows.

Here in England Sky have removed NXT from its programming and are now charging £20 for PPVs. That was the final straw for me so I got the US Network last night! Watched Angle vs Shane at KoTR, one of my fave matches then I watched NXT and some random hardcore stuff. Gunna watch one of the KoTR PPVs tonight then I'm gunna check out that Rivalries show. I'm spoilt for choice now lol!

Since you are from the UK, did the "R Evolution" special air at all in the UK? I didn't hear anything being mentioned on the sheets.

Yeah thanks, its probably gunna be like an hour watching in bed at night type of thing im not gunna constantly be watching it. Yes it aired on the Saturday night, so it was only 48 hours wait. There hasn't been anything official on Sky about NXT but it wasn't on this week nor is it on next week, and Main Event is on in its place. There's also a thread on the UK board about it being pulled so it kinda sucks for UK viewers.

I think them pulling NXT and raising PPV prices is a sign its on its way. But it seems easier to just go the US route, wish id done it earlier.

I wonder what is the delay with the network in your part of the world. I least heard the WWE is a fault, not Sky.
