I'm watching IYH: Ground Zero, and The Patriot just came out to Kurt Angle's music. Did he actually use it first or this like hearing Chris Jericho come out to Break Down The Walls at Fall Brawl 97? The Patriot used an early version of "Medal" on the July 28th, 1997 RAW. The version that everybody knows as used my three people, The Patriot, Sgt. Slaughter, and eventually Kurt Angle. When did Slaughter use it? I don't remember him using. I have seen the Patriot use the theme

Finally signed up as a new subscriber on the 15th, with the limited promo they're running. What a freaking treasure trove of memories! So much content, it's hard to decide what to watch :/. As someone who started watching wrestling in either 1992 or 1993, and loved the period of 1993-2007, it's going to be hard to get through most of the content of these years through late April, lol. Let alone all the original content, live PPV's and whatever else offered...
That said, I do have some serious criticisms regarding the service. First of, the frame rate. Why does the Network play at 30fps? I feel like I'm watching a movie or a Region 2 pal video. It's annoying, and for wrestling, or any other sport for that matter, the video should be outputing at 60fps for the original "live" feel.
Second, the audio quality. Watching through a lot of the 1998-present PPV's, Raw's, Smackdown's, etc., I've noticed a lot of these aren't in stereo at all on the Network, when they were originally recorded in stereo back in the day. For a lot of these shows, there's no ambiance coming through my speakers, and they generally don't sound good at alI. I don't know if this was deliberate, or if they didn't do testing before uploading to the Network, but it's really unfortunate, especially when watching these shows on an iPad or tablet, and listening with headphones :/
Third, and probably not their fault, but for me, the Network plays like crap on a PS3. So many connection errors, "fatal" error, video skipping and video skipping backwards. It can't be my internet ("Extreme Upgrade" through Time Warner Cable). Anyone having issues on a PS3? Can you use Google Chromecast and how's the performance?
That's my take on the Network so far. I love this thing to death, but they need to fix the low frame rate issue, and make sure all of their 1998-present shows are broadcast in stereo, as they were meant to be heard.

I used to watch the Network on PS3 but I got tired of the constant freezing/skipping ahead and back. I now watch it on Roku and I gotta say it's a BIG improvement.
I mainly subscribed to it for the old school content and they do have a ton of it on there so overall it's money well spent. And to think they haven't even scratched the surface on the content they have in their vaults.

Had to switch to using the PS4, for some reason during both NXT Takeover and Survivor Series, my apple tv would cut out and drop connection. Not sure if anyone else had that problem.
Also had somewhat of a random thought, does anyone think they'll ever upload the 2012-2013 NXT shows? Theres some amazing content to be had there:
— Early Wyatts, and Wyatt vs. Jericho — Zayn debut, and 2 out of 3 Falls match with Cesaro — Rollins as first NXT champ, and his tag match with Punk — Chris Hero — Cesaro vs. Zayn, Cesaro vs. Regal — Richie Steamboat — Paige — Corey Graves

NXT is a big part of the Network so they'd be fools not to add the older shows.

Totally agree - I've been saying this since I joined (over 18 months ago). The picture on The Network definitely has a film-like look, rather than the standard live look of a sports-broadcast. You do get used to it though... some people have actually said they prefer it(!?). Had to switch to using the PS4, for some reason during both NXT Takeover and Survivor Series, my apple tv would cut out and drop connection. Not sure if anyone else had that problem. ...dude - I just came here to post about this! I've been watching The Network for 18 months + on Apple TV, with no problem at all - but for Takeover and Survivor Series, it kept losing the connection or resetting itself... happened 3 or 4 times during SS. It only takes a couple of minutes to pick up from where you left - but if this continues, I can see it getting pretty frustrating! Hopefully it was just a one-off type thing... I'll see what it's like for the next live PPV.

The new Xbox one update is amazing. You could fast forward a 2 hours into a ppv and it will immediately play clearly.

I didn't know if it was an Apple TV thing, a WWE network thing, a they were in Canada thing, or whatever. Yeah it cut out for me during the Tag Match, the Mens 5 on 5 match right around where Braun decimated Ellsworth, and I think one other time. Been using WWE network on Apple TV since forever but when I switched to PS4 it worked perfectly fine. It was strange, but yeah I hope its not a continuing issue.

ECW's Top 50 Incidents are on the WWE Network now. Gonna have to check this out later today. During the Network Special on ECW that aired after Raw they made a point of saying multiple times that "The Entire ECW Library" was now available on demand. That can't possibly be true can it?

Not true since they haven't added all those Supercards yet.

There has to be quite a few of their non PPV big shows floating around. I know they used to run the ECW Arena every 2 weeks or so. There has to be more stuff from shows like that. I'm not complaining though. The fact that they already have all of their weekly shows and PPVs uploaded is great. I'd love to watch everything in order but my god some of the early Hardcore TV's are pretty damn terrible. I have to find a nice spot to start.

Has anyone else had any problems with the Network the past couple days? I get part ways through an event and then it flags an error and starts over
