RAW had some good wrestling tonight but it set up matches for Mania that I don't care to see. I hope the crowd at Mania tears the Orton/Batista match apart. Bryan should have been in the Title match, but it seems as if Triple H wants to face the hottest superstar in the WWE just to stay relevant. Crowd sucked tonight. They tried way too hard. They boo Batista because he steals the spot of a young more deserving superstar and then they start chanting things like "Husky Harris" and "Jerry" during the Roman Reigns/Bray Wyatt match. Go yourselves.

After last nights Raw it safe to say Mania will look like this:
Batista vs. Orton WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H
Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker
Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena
Antonio Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger
New Age Outlaws vs. The Uso's Tag Team Titles
Sheamus vs. Christian
I still don't know what the hell they are doing with The Shield.
Its a shame The Brotherhood don't have anything going for them yet regarding Mania. Everyone else that really deserves it is seemingly doing something with the exception of those two.

Unfortunate how accurate the dirt sheets were with exception of Punk who thankfully threw off the Sheamus/Bryan angle You'd rather Punk leave the WWE and watch HHH/Bryan than Sheamus/Bryan? Are you serious? It's absolutely criminal how underrated Sheamus is.. what a fantastic worker. Maybe if he had have come to America earlier and wrestled in ROH for a couple of years you'd all be dick riding him. I have to agree with this. Sheamus had brilliant match with Big Show of all people, and could probably have a great match with anyone on the roster.

I am under the assumption now that if Bryan beats HHH at Mania he will get into the Main event with Orton and Batista.
I think that'd be perfect.

If they don't let Jesse Pinkman drop one "BITCH" next week I'll be very upset.

I can see Triple H being arrogant how there's no way he'll lose to a "B superstar" and that he's so confident he'll win that he'll add Bryan to the main event if Bryan wins. As for next week, it's the definitive answer on Punk's status. The crowd is going to be crazy for him so I'm excited to see what happens. I'm not holding my breath for him to come back but it'll be interesting to see how things play out.

I don't care who fights HHH as long as they beat him. That's the biggest thing. Side note: anyone watching these past couple nights just want the entire Shield to turn face?

good wrestling last night but we have the exact Wrestlemania card that was "reported" about 3 months ago, which means the reports of them changing plans were absolutely FALSE (as usual) and the backlash that has been given towards this card has gone on completely DEAF ears. at this point, i'm only looking forward to Wrestlemania because well it's Wrestlemania. I HATE every match on the card for various reasons. I'm hoping for a hijack of epic proportions on that JOKE of a main event, I'm hoping that Undertaker/Lesnar is like 10000% better than I think it's going to be, I'm hoping that Bryan at LEAST gets a win over HHH, I'm hoping that Cesaro gets to do SOMETHING great on the show. But this is the WWE, the thing that they are best at doing is running on a ing treadmill. So I expect zero shock, zero surprise and really just another Wrestlemania where most of us talk about how great it "could" have been.

Like you said, Im only hype because its WRESTLEMANIA. Like I have said in another thread, nowadays what honestly differentiates WrestleMania from other PPV's? The venue or the video packages because honestly Wrestlemania hasn't been "WRESTLEMANIA" in about 5-6 years. All it has been is predictable matches and one big one that usually disappoints. I hate to be cynical but Mania hasn't had that big feel since 25., to me atleast. And I don't remember a Mania that lived up to standards since 24

If you want things to be a surprise and not predictable don't read wrestling news on the internet. Pretty simple.
People complain if things are predictable and people complain if they are swerved.

I have been watching wrestling for 20 years and in all honesty the last 7 years or so, and WWE has done the same rehashed tired formulas and feuds.
You do not need to read "news" to see the recycled stories and feuds. How many times have we seen the same match like ADR/Rey or how many 6/8/10 man tags do we see on a weekly basis?
There is no diversity at all in the WWE. No diversity in characters/personalities, no diversity in storylines, no diversity in match-ups, I can gon on for days and days.
Long story short WWE is lazy and afraid to start a revolution of their own programming. They have all the top talent in the world to change the face of wrestling but they are afraid

At the least, we might see a Bash at the Beach '96 style fill the ring with trash incident.

I enjoyed Raw this week. As I was watching the Big E/Cesaro match I actually found myself thinking that the IC title was relevant, and not just hey let's give the title to the new guy.
But I have to admit that the Randy Orton/Batista segment was freaking pathetic. Batista can't wrestle or talk so his spot in the main event at mania is an even bigger joke than I realized. It was pretty funny hearing the Boo-tista chant and their support for Del Rio. And even as much as I can't stand Orton, I have to admit that I laughed when he pointed out that the fans were booing ol' Dave.

I want the Shield to turn face and NEVER EVERY break up.
I love them so much.
Fired up baby face Seth Rollins was phenomenal at the Chamber.

The fact that the company acknowledged themselves how great it "could" by posting the Wrestlemania 30 "dream matches" on their site a few weeks back, truly says it all. That card basically said, we know this is what you want but we're going to give you what we give you anyway.
