Continue with the Wyatts vs Shield storyline leading to a 6 man TLC match at WM. i like this idea. pure blockbuster written all over it! just curious, what would be up for grabs above the ring in this match?

What does a fake injury add to the storyline? Another "overcoming the odds" story for John?

Well, that ing sucks. Cena to me at least, is more crucial to Mania this year than he has been in past Mania's simply because he'd be helping Bray Wyatt's career. It was probably the only feud planned for Mania that I had just a bit of interest in. Win or lose, if Bray would have had a strong showing against Cena, it would've done nothing but help his career. I guess we're gonna get The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family II. I don't mind, but give it a Hardcore/Extreme Rules stipulation.

What does a fake injury add to the storyline? Another "overcoming the odds" story for John? 1. Makes a midcarder look like a threat. 2. Writes Cena out of interfering in the Shield/Wyatt brawl later in the show (and possibly in future weeks).

So, if it is indeed a work as is being reported, I'd like to again stress how fantastically Cena sold it. Everything about that came off as legitimate.

Out of all the beatdowns Cena has had over the years, This is the one they choose to stretcher him out on? Lol!

I must be in the minority in thinking this was a work from the get out

It being reported as a work, sounds more like a work.. I could be wrong.. But if it was a work, couldn't they have made it look like they hurt him instead of it looking like someone ed up and accidentally hurt him.? No Wyatt member looks like a threat after that brawl, but Erik Rowan looked sloppy. Let's work a leg injury, by making it look like someone did something they shouldn't have. wtf? Works don't work out like that whole scenario did.

I was hoping it was legit. I'm far from a Cena hater, but I just don't think WM needs him. I'd much rather see the Shield face the Wyatt's again in some kind of gimmick match (HIAC maybe).

what is possibly the logic in that? as soon as rowan lifted cena's leg it looked twisted and he immediately went down and tried to get them away. he then signaled for doctors. they then worked around the fact that his leg was hurting him unbearably as best they could, and closed the segment early with cena looking weak and holding his leg (which they didn't work over). the commentators were very awkward in how they handled how cena looked, noting his leg seemed to be distressing him. so once again, what is your possible logic in thinking he's 'fine'? PWInsider.com is now confirming the injury was part of the angle and Raw script, as the stretcher spot was indeed scripted into the show prior to the taping last night. The stretcher could even be seen ready and in place at the top of the entrance ramp before the beatdown segment took place between Cena and The Wyatt Family. In addition to potentially making Cena appear to be less than 100% prior to his WrestleMania match against Bray Wyatt, WWE might be running more injury type angles in the future to help drive viewers to the WWE Network post-shows so fans can get "follow-up" information.

From WWE.com Sources have confirmed Cena has suffered a serious injury! The injury occurred last night when cena broke a nail. Sources say he can miss 6 to 8 months. No one in history has been able to recovers from such an injury in anytime shorter.

So the injury was scripted?
This is the best thing Cena has ever sold other than merchandise.

They should go with The Shield vs The Wyatt's in a TLC, then have Hulk Hogan in an in-ring segment with the Real Americans where gets saved by a returning John Cena.

Give us The Shield vs The Wyatt's in a TLC instead. Would be a hell of a lot more enjoyable. Agreed. It looks like the WWE is having a change of heart when it comes to the break up of the shield.

If you posted you wish this injury was legit then you deserve to die. You thinking someone deserves to die is no better than them wishing an injury was legit.. Get it right!
