So I really want to see how people on here feel about a potential situation.
Lets just say, CM Punk and Vince get everything hashed out and Punk decides to return to WWE here soon for WrestleMania. Now WHAT IF, Punk comes back and is inserted into the WWE WHC Match at WrestleMania while Daniel Bryan is stuck with Triple H?
What would the reaction be? Outrage? Elation? Indifference? I would like to know how you guys would feel. I know it is a long shot but if this were to happen how would you deal with the fact that a guy who quit and walked out convienently gets reinserted into the Main Event of WrestleMania?
********So with the rumor of Punk returning Monday how will people really feel if he is indeed added to the title match?

It would be stupid anything other than mania ending with Bryan finally winning the title and 80 thousand people chanting yes is a huge fail.

if that happened and Punk won the title...that would instantly make Wrestlemania 30 one of the greatest ever (in my own personal opinion)
however that's not happening. you will get Orton vs Batista and you WILL like it

If Punk somehow returns before Wrestlemania, he's more or less out of a match. Bryan took his spot. Perhaps he'd be thrown into a meaningless program with Sheamus, just as Bryan was supposed to be.
We have to keep in mind that the "rumored" card leaked a couple of months ago turned out to be totally accurate. The only change was Daniel Bryan replacing CM Punk, which left Sheamus with nothing to do. I fully believe that had Punk not walked out, Bryan would be entering the early stages of a feud with Sheamus right now, not being inserted into the title match. In other words, it was simply never going to happen. Even if Triple H had someone else to work with, Bryan was never going to get his shot.
It would make no sense to insert Punk into the title match, at any rate.

I have two thoughts for mania. 1) this doesn't include punk. But at this point lesnar vs taker has to be the main event. 2) say punk gets to the point to make a impact at mania. I say have him sitting front row in a hood. Then during the batista and Orton match towards the end of it. Have punk jump the barricade and beat the crap out of both guys. Hold the belts up and leave with them. Next night we get a pipe bomb.

Its ridiculous that they would just give Punk this huge Wrestlemania moment after he was so unprofessional. What sort of message would that send? Of course I loathe CM Punk and hope never to see him in any fashion again, so I would hate seeing him not only return as the cornerstone of the biggest show of the year, but then be forced to hear him whine the next night about being mistreated when he was originally supposed to be in one of the highest profile matches on the card. I would rather see them haphazardly toss a MITB match on the card with Cody, Goldust, Ziggler, RVD (if they can get him), Del Rio, and Cesaro with the winner cashing in at the end of Orton/Batista... or even in the middle of the match during a double KO. I have always thought that would be a cool idea.
Punk has always been a channel turner for me, and now he's a whiny bitch too. An appearance by Punk would only pile on the garbage of Orton/Batista, which is bad enough as it is.

Yes, I said at the beginning that I loathe CM Punk, I don't know why you were expecting anything different. In fact, as much as I dislike Batista I like him exponentially more because he got Punk off of my screen, at least for a little while.

If I was actually contemplating buying Mania, versus getting it because of the network, that would be enough to get me to spend the money. Punk's the man. I'll take him over Bryan all day long and twice on Sunday. I like Bryan, I think he should be in the title match and win, but he's not Punk in the way he captivates me as a fan. Plus, Punk could win the title, turn heel, and then do the job to Bryan. Which is ultimately beneficial to everyone because they are sensational together and Punk is the best heel in the company when he's in that role. Punk and Bryan serve, in general, the same belief system as well. They are the anti-Cena character. So I have to believe they share a ton of fans.
Punk could easily attack Orton and/or Batista from the crowd. Do the whole paid for a ticket in Chicago and then jumps the rail. That's about the only way I do see CM Punk returning at this point. That being, he returns, gets inserted into the main event, wins the title to close the show. He could then go on to give Bryan a title shot out of "respect" and then turn on him at Extreme Rules.

I think Punk even knows Bryan deserves that title match more than him at Mania.

I think Bryan deserves it more than Punk, but one of them needs to be inserted into the match.

Punk and Bryan are both my guys so either of them getting the main event is good to me.
I think a Punk return could make him as hot as Bryan depending on how it's done.

I'm waiting to see what happens in Chicago. My friends threw Dwayne under the bus last year because he no showed RAW after Mania.. Calling him a **** and taking jabs at him just to make me angry because I mark for The Rock.. Now their golden boy has done the exact same thing. He walked out. Only he didn't get "injured" or have a multi million dollar movie paycheck waiting for him.. His ego just inflated. I'm willing to put money on his ego being bigger than The Rock's ego. I'm going to WrestleMania.. Had tickets since November, and Punk just taking his ball and leaving for whatever reason has made me sour on him completely. It would be nice if he came back before Mania and wrestled at Mania.. But if he doesn't do that, I honestly don't care to ever see him again. Punk is good, but he's not a gift to pro wrestling.. He's not the savior. And with all his days as champion, all the pipe bombs, and his constant complaining backstage. He still couldn't achieve what Daniel Bryan has, which is make a total connection with every single fan. him.

Orton vs Batista vs Punk Bryan gets put in the match by beating Orton, Batista and Punk in 3 different matches. Triple H announces the fatal four way will take place but there will be a special guest referee. Punk and Bryan obviously don't like it. Orton is iffy about it and Batista is all smiles. Orton says The Authority has made him the face of the WWE and he hopes with Triple H being the ref it will stay that way. Hunter says the best man will win. Randy gets paranoid that HHH is going to help Batista win and take away his status as the face of the WWE. It's match time. The first person eliminated is Randy Orton. After being pinned he gets in Triple H's face and says he didn't even bother to stop him from being eliminated. HHH tries to calm Randy down and tells him to go to the back. Punk is eliminated next after a fast count. He tries to attack HHH but Batista stops him. Kane comes down and gets Punk and takes him to the back. Now it's just Batista and Bryan. They do close pin spots. Bryan locks in the YES lock, Batista is about to tap out but HHH grabs Batista's foot and drags him to the ropes. Bryan gets in HHH's face. HHH grabs him and turns him around, Batista grabs him and hits a spinebuster. Batista picks up Bryan for the Batista Bomb and during that time Orton has run down to the ring unbeknownst to HHH and Batista. He gets in the ring, swings HHH around and hits an RKO. Batista hits the Batista Bomb unaware of what happened. He gets up and finds Orton standing in the ring with HHH laid out. The two get in each other's face and yell. Charles Robinson, a paramedic and the ringside doctor check on HHH. Cole says something is happening backstage and it cuts to Kane laid out. It cuts back to the ring and the crowd pops as they see Punk run down to the ring. Punk kicks Batista in the back of the head and he falls to his knees. Bryan has gotten up and is in the corner starting to YES. He's waiting for Batista to stand up and when he does Bryan hits the knee. Bryan covers Batista. Punk gets Robinson's attention and he slides in the ring and counts the 3.
