49ers send a pack of gum to the Jags for Blaine Gabbert and now we send a half eaten Snickers bar to the Dolphins for Jonathan Martin. While I dont expect much from Gabbert, if Martin's head is on straight that is a huge steal.

I'm thinking the Bolts utilize Mathews as the lead back, have Woodhead for screens & routes, and use Brown for rotation/third down/goal line situations?
Kind of a weird pick up but as long as it bolsters our offense, I'm fine with it.

I take it your a Pats fan, as am I ( I know I know I like the yanks and pats, and the 49ers), but the Patriots must be the worst front office team after day 1 of free agency. They let Edleman test the market, fail to sign Talib, and there biggest move was resigning a tight end/ full back whose name I can not even spell. The Pats should cut Amendola, sign Edleman, get Decker, then go after Revis and sign a solid line backer. They did not get Jackson nor Ward, so I think they need to strike now.

Outside what they gave Schofield from Seattle, happy with what Giants have done so far in Free Agency. Just resigned Jon Beason which was huge for us.

The Pats organization has the ability to make the most questionable decisions turn out perfect in their favor. I think they know what they are doing. They know how to do this song and dance. Granted, there is always the risk they get bit in the ass, but I tend to just believe they have a plan.

The 49ers front office, for whatever reason, has always liked Gabbert even in the draft. We literally do not have a backup QB on our roster. Colt McCoy is TERRIBLE. If you suck so bad Cleveland doesnt want you, that says a lot. While Gabbert isnt the second coming of Montana, he's also not the second coming of Ryan Leaf. Gabbert was put on a team that sucks from front office all the way down to water boy. He does have some pocket presence problems but unlike what JAX did, he's not going to get thrown in to start (or hopefully ever have to start at all) if Harbaugh & Co can get the kids head on straight he could be a very serviceable backup for nothing but a 7th rd pick.

WR Golden Tate is visiting my Detroit Lions.
Him and Megatron could be a deadly combination.

I hate the Broncos.
Good thing is that they can dominate the regular season all they want, Peyton will choke come playoff time.

Sorry I'm not going to buy the choke label for a guy who played in three Super Bowls and won one. Too many greats have never even come close to doing that.

Peyton has the most playoff losses. Peyton had the best offense... scores 8 points in the Super Bowl. For as great as Peyton is, he always finds a way to lose. His one Super Bowl came against a team that had Rex Grossman as a quarterback, lol.

Brady 18 Montana 17 Those two belong no where on the choke list and if you think they do, then, lol. Choke Artists means failure under pressure multiple times. Did Brady fail... nope. Joe... nope. Peyton... YUUUUUPPP! His only Super Bowl win came against Rex Grossman, a glorified third stringer. He threw the game ending interception against the saints (choke) and had the best offense ever and scored 8 points (choke). Peyton cost his team the titles, Brady had his team in a spot to win but the Pats defense choked. To me, Peyton Manning is the greatest regular season quarterback. In the playoffs, he is in the middle of the pack, average.

Jim Kelly- 4 Super Bowl losses Fran Tarkenton- 3 Super Bowl losses John Elway- 3 Super Bowl losses Tom Brady- 2 Super Bowl losses By your definition, all of these guys are choke artists. IF you want to look at wins as you said, then you have to include Manning winning his Super Bowl. Doesnt matter who it was against. The "glorified third stringer" still got his team to the Super Bowl and 30 other teams 1st stringers didnt.

He had his team up in the final minute but Bradys defense choked, not Brady himself. The other quarterbacks you listed are also great choke artists, especially Kelly and Tarkenton, no super bowl wins. My point is Manning chokes at the worst of times. Regular season he is the best, playoff time he is average. As I said before, Peyton throws game ending pick in Super Bowl, scores 8 points with the best offense ever. Put Brady in Mannings shoes,Broncos would have put up a lot more points than 8. Not sure how you can argue "Peyton does not choke" 1-2 in super bowls 11-12 in playoffs, most losses he throws picks that cost his team Best offense ever... scores 8 points Numbers Never Lie.

It takes more than one person to lose in a team sport.
