Also winning the offseason doesnt mean anything, Denvers doing a lot of good things but just ask the 2011 Eagles what happens when you win the offseason

How is Revis to the Pats for 1 year a bad move? Seriously. Talib just got the most guaranteed money EVER for a corner. Revis is a better corner and ARGUABLY the best corner in the NFL. Really no downside here, and whoever said he'll flop LOLZ If he has a bad year, then yes it will be a flop.

I don't know what to think of the decker signing. Solid player but is he a legit 1? Guess time will tell. Guess Revis was asshurt the jets didn't call him back so he went to the rivals lol

It's a great deal for the Pats, and a risky deal for Revis. However long term deals are meaningless in the NFL anyway. Almost smarter to take a series of 1 year deals and make more money that way.
I think the Jets will probably regret the Decker deal. Reminds me of the Falcons signing Peerless Price. I like him but I don't think he is a #1 guy.

Yea I'm not too sure how I feel about Decker yet.
I'm glad that they're making moves and taking steps forward, I just don't know how productive he will be with no help on the other side. This past year he was part of the best receiving corp in football but like TRW and Young said, I don't think he's a legit #1. Although he did have 8 TDs in 2011 with Tebow so we'll see.
Don't get me wrong he's a huge upgrade and definitely welcomed but hopefully the Jets add some more pieces on the offensive side of the ball in the draft.

Decker isn't even close to a #1 guy. In Denver, he was clearly behind both Thomases but slightly better than welker.
Plus, he's going from catching balls from Peyton to Geno. Huge difference.
Ps. Best corner distinction still goes to Sherman.

Apparently the Ravens are interested in Steve Smith. No thanks.

Best corner distinction still goes to Sherman. He did have solid years when tebow was qb so well see. I'd go with Sherman also

Funny. How a "show me what your worth" veteran deal is worth 12 Mill a year.

I never thought I'd say this, but at least we re-signed Frank Zombo. Especially since we clearly aren't going to sign any other FA outside of Abdullah and our Long Snapper.
After giving it a few days, I'm not too heart broken about McCluster, especially since the Titans are apparently going to use him as a RB instead of a returner. And honestly, that's where McCluster is most dangerous.
Since his arrival, I can honestly only think of one major Offensive play he was a part of, and it was last season. Beyond that, he's normally getting small swing passes out of the back, or getting demolished at the point of catching the ball. I can actually think of more nasty hits placed on McCluster than I can think of touchdowns.
As far as our O-Line goes, I'm sad we let Schwartz leave. Albert, I'm ehh on. My ideal solution is still to move Eric Fisher to his natural side, and fit someone else in on that side.

They didnt give up a pick or cut players to get him. Do you honestly think Revis will have a bad year or just hoping he does?

Well Mr Know It All, first I am the biggest pats fan, second the pats as of now only have five million to spend, so if Revis flops, and costs the Pats other valuable players, yeah, it would hurt them. By the way, if you knew anything, there is a 20 million dollar option for Revis in 2015, so, yeah no way he is worth that. Anyways, Wilfork asked for his release. If released 11 million will be freed in cap space.

As the "biggest pats fan ever" maybe stop being such a pompous clown and actually read. They are at 10 million cap space right now, obviously much more if Wilfork leaves. If I knew anything? Seriously kid? You cant even get the cap space right and you are trying to talk down to me. Again, sorry biggest Pats fan ever let me help you out again. Patriots right now roughly 10$ mil cap space (Not 5 biggest Pats fan) Revis's contract: Reports are Revis has $10m signing bonus, $1.5m base salary, $500k roster bonus for 2014 & $20m option for 2015. Cap numbers of $7m & $25m The 25$ mil option is to block the franchise tag, it doesnt prevent them from extending him. Anyways, back to being Debby Downer Mr Biggest Patriots fan ever

Decker was weird, there were beat writers who were like SUPER anti-Decker, screaming bust and just awful. Others saying he'll be good, but not great. He didnt break the bank as much as people thought and he could be in for a rough time with Geno but I mean it makes sense for the Jets. Geno cant succeed with no weapons.

He's a solid receiver with great hands but he's definitely not in my list of top 10 WRs. CJ, AJ, dez, marsh, julio, gordon, demariyus, alshon, fitz, andre are all ahead of him, imo. He had some great stats last year but there's no denying that Manning throwing it his way helped big time, plus the fact that teams are trying to cover Demaryius or Julius Thomas as the first priority, which leaves Decker open. I don't think he deserved the contract, personally, but you're right, Jets needed a guy like him.

Oh well, I guess your life revolves around proving people "wrong" on the internet by googling things you have little to no knowledge about. You think you are right about everything and you think your opinion is right. LOL. No need to respond to this as I will be blocking you. A shame two patriot fans can not get along just because i had a simple opinion. *sigh* Go Pats.

Julian Edleman is visiting the 49ers and Browns are making a strong push for him as well.
Also, what is Carolina doing? They have two no name wide receivers. Ted Gin and Smith and Laffell all are gone.

Making people look foolish on the internet is a hobby, like checkers. Again, making a comment that I have little or no knowledge of something WHEN I WAS RIGHT just proves how awesome you are dude. So if I got my RIGHT information from Google, and that makes me foolish, what does that make you? I will miss you now that you blocked me, feel free to PM me when you have any questions about reading or simple math. See ya later bandwagoner, we'll miss you. Darrelle Revis is a CORNER back....just in case you got confused. Always here to help, LOLZ
