Hey guys, I know this signing is WAY late, just like Herb Dean's stoppage of the Mike Pyle/T.J. Waldburger fight from this past weekend's UFC 170 fight, lol, but as they say, better late than never. This was my experience from the Dan Aykroyd bottle signing on Sept. 29th 2012 at the LCBO in Mississauga. I believe I was the 3rd in line, after waiting about 5hrs. We waited for a while outside, but then they moved the line inside. The signing was absolutely FREE, but if you wanted a bottle signed, then you'd have to buy a bottle of the Crystal Head Vodka or a bottle of his wine. I purchased 2 bottles of the Crystal Head, one for me and the other for my girlfriend. The line felt very rushed, but at least he was very nice to sign my items and even take a pic with me, which I will cherish forever. The fans were pretty hardcore with some dressed all out in the classic Ghostbuster gear complete with jumpsuit and proton-pack. Some guy dressed up as The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was even standing in line, lol!! I believe there's even a clip on YouTube of him meeting Dan, haha. Overall, for a FREE signing, I was able to get 5 autographs, which I think is a HELL of a deal, even if you had to buy a bottle of booze if you wanted it signed. It's too bad he doesn't make more appearances around here, being he's Canadian and all. I'm VERY glad I went down to meet him during his rare appearance in Ontario. Here are the pics from that day. Enjoy!!

I would have liked to have met him as well. Get my Blues Brothers poster signed then kick him in the nuts and scream at him why he had to ruin that movie with Blues Brothers 2000. Ugh.

That's awesome! I would love to meet him one day. How come you didn't get ghostbusters signed? Lol Meh, I could've but I wanted to get other stuff signed. A LOT of people there were getting Ghostbuster stuff signed. My favorite signed item is The Great Outdoors DVD. 2 great Canadians on the cover. I just wish John Candy was still alive, so I could've met him and also got it signed. Unfortunately, that won't ever happen. Also on a side note here, I would NOT have known about this rare appearance if it weren't for my girlfriend who lives in London, Ont. She had actually met Dan the night before when he was appearing at a LCBO in London and doing a bottle signing at that location. Once I heard about that, I went on the net and searched for his appearances and sure enough, after his London appearance, he was going to an LCBO in Mississauga the very next day. I was NOT going to miss out on that for ANYTHING in this world, lol. 5 items signed by Dan Aykroyd, come on, you can't beat that. I love the Crystal Head Vodka though. Displays VERY nicely. I keep mine in the box so it doesn't get dusty or dirty. I believe Dan appeared in Montreal about a month ago for another bottle signing. I really hope he does another signing in the gta. I always wondered why he never does convention appearances, him being Canadian and all. Thanks for posting !
