How much DLC is there anyways?
I pre-ordered the regular one from Gamestop.

Hot Wheels has the Batmobile from Arkham Knight out now Yes I learned about this earlier in the week, but yet to find it. So in getting ready for AK I have been replaying the first three titles and I finally got the "Freeflow Perfection" trophy in AA this morning. lol

Anyone here know when Arkham Knight takes place? After Arkham City? Or between Origins and Arkham Asylum? I am guessing before Asylum if Batgirl is in the game because Barbara is in a wheelchair as Oricle in AA and AC.

I am guessing before Asylum if Batgirl is in the game because Barbara is in a wheelchair as Oricle in AA and AC. It's definitely after City. This is what Azrael was talking about in City. Plus, Scarecrow was mauled by Croc and that's why he has his new look. Oracle is also in the game in her usual role, so I think the Batgirl DLC is a separate story. Maybe a flashback or something. But Arkham Knight is definitely set after City.

Yeah, it's supposed to be a year after the events of Arkham City, with Arkham City shut down. Unless it's one of the different Batgirls, which is very unlikely when you see the art for her, it's likely a story between Origins where Barbara was just a teenager, and Asylum where she's now Oracle.

The Batgirl DLC takes place before all of this when she wasn't paralyzed.

No you're just paying for it at a cheaper price like every other season pass.

The DLC for this game is just outrageous. Anytime DLC is announced well BEFORE the main game even comes out is just bad news no matter how you spin it.
And I know some dumbo will say "derrrrp you don't have to buuuuy it". Yeah, you're the ones who allow this crap to happen. I'll give the video game industry credit... They have it figured it out. Release 70% of a game for 100% price... Then sell the remaining 30% in installments for another 50% or more of the price.
GOTY edition for me.

Except they're releasing 100% of the game for 100% of the price. Everything else we're getting is extra that we probably wouldn't get at all if the company wasn't doing DLC. The only time that doesn't happen is when the DLC is already completed and withheld from the game, which isn't as common as some people seem to think it is. The truth is, DLC is almost always planned out before the game is released if not always. Some companies are just taking advantage of consumers who are anti-DLC by not announcing it beforehand, tricking them into thinking that it's all thought out long after the game is completed. Also, those GOTY editions rely solely on the people who buy the games new and their DLC. If no one's buying the game, they aren't going to waste time on a GOTY or "complete" or whatever edition.

Trailer for the Harley Quinn DLC. Definitely looking forward to playing it, after I'm done with the main game, was always a Harley fan.
*update*
Now they have the Red Hood trailer too
So happy, the game is finally in reach. Not too much longer.

Apparently they are canceling the Batmobile special edition, due to 'quality concerns.' Sucks for the people who pre-ordered it, getting this info a week before it's released. I guess they're offering the special edition with the statue to the people who pre-ordered the Batmobile one, at a discounted price.

So on accident I opened a thread on another forum and found out who the Arkham Knight was. Then I saw the video posted...needless to say while disappointed I spoiled it, I got goosebumps from watching it.

I learned my lesson by spoiling Clayface in Arkham City. I'm keeping off any gaming boards for this game until I've beaten it and get stuck with some side quests that I just can't figure out.
