Im not a Dillon fan but it was nostalgic seeing the 3 car again. Good news is we wont have to worry about him during the Chase as he will likely be one of the first eliminated with Danica's BF

Tuned in just in time to see NASCAR give Jimmie his win back from last year after he missed a shift... I mean, had a "mechanical failure."
They have to know when I'm watching. Seems like every time I do, he sets the fast lap or gets the best breaks, or wins. They should just give up. No matter how high they try to elevate him, I'm never gonna get on his d*ck. And that goes for any sports organization who portrays their "top guy" as anything other than what they are. See right through their BS.

I couldn't have been happier to get spoiled on Jimmie winning during the end of my IndyCar recording. I quickly and swiftly deleted my Dover recording, not having to watch a single second of the 48 car.

Im by no means and Johnson fan but he's really not doing anything that any other dominate driver didnt do during their run. I clearly remember Dale Sr catching and passing a 4 car draft at Talladega all by himself on the high side. People just said "Oh he can see the draft"...see the draft my hairy white ass. I cant tell you how many times Jeff Gordon was lapped/about to be lapped and a caution flag would come out. Do we need to be reminded about Dale Jr passing every one by himself in the July 01 Daytona race.

Do we need to be reminded about Dale Jr passing every one by himself in the July 01 Daytona race. In an era where broadcasters always boast about how the competition is the best it's ever been. And the drivers are as talented as they've ever been. And the cars are as competitively equal as they've ever been. And the rules are enforced as strictly as they've ever been. And the continually-changing points system makes the championship battle as difficult as it's ever been (though I've never believed that line for a second). Am I saying Johnson is a no-talent hack who couldn't find his way around a racetrack without assistance from the higher-ups? No. He'd likely have enough success to be considered a top-tier driver, perhaps a HOF'er eventually. But to think he's gonna forever be part of the "greatest ever" category, and will definitely be called #1 if given another championship trophy, makes my stomach turn.

Well Jimmie IS one of the greatest. That's a fact. As for the stomach turning comment, Pretty sure plenty of people said that about Gordon in his prime.

Like I said, nothing will convince me of his supposed greatness. You all are welcome to your own opinions.

I agree he is good but I cant say he is the best since him an his team just really know how to work the Chase, he would only have like 3 I think with the points system.
