'least Kyle led more than 20 something. Man, for awhile it seemed like every race was won by someone who tripped and got the led like "wait what do I do now" lol Im usually ok if one of the two dominate cars wins....There's almost always 2 cars that legit near split the laps led. Some times one wins, sometimes the other...Sometimes there's a wreck or fuel strategy that is difference. To me though, whether you lead 200 laps or 1, if you put it in victory lane, you earned it. Oh yeah, I'm with on them earning the win regardless of the number of laps led.

Speaking of earning a win..as a former Geoff Bodine fan back in the days. North Wilkesboro '94...Led 334 laps, lapped the entire field.

Happy to see Jeremy Clements nab the Xfinity win at Road America. Always welcome underfunded teams get their day. Perhaps showed a bit too much anxiety and nerves to get the lead, especially with a faster car with fresher tires, but Tifft was sliding around like crazy on that portion of the track.

Awesome to see an underdog grab the win.

My heart was in my throat near the closing laps. As big of a JGR fan I am and loving to see that comeback for Tifft I'm so happy for Jeremy. Always love seeing underdogs win. Would love to see him in top equipment.

Hendrick Motorsports announced today that Chase Elliott will drive the #9 and William Byron will drive the #24 in 2018. The current #24 team will remain with Chase Elliott. Just a number swap.

I cannot express how excited I am to see Chase get the #9 but Hendrick not running the 5? This is like the 3 being retired for me. The 88 HAS to be changed to 5...it freaking HAS to!!

Wonder why they thought that to be necessary, unless Chase always wanted the 9 or something. It's his family number and was his late model moving through the ranks (aside from CWTS). Why they didn't do this when he first took over, is anyone's guess.

Good for Chase..... and Byron is going to have even more pressure on him next year.

Maybe they think giving Chase the 9 like he had in the Busch Series, where he won races, will somehow push him over the edge in the Cup Series and get him to Victory Lane.

I think Chase just wanted the 9. Its one of those "this is my number" kinda things. I just cant wrap my head around dropping the 5. 88 is such a garbage number. It was fine as the Gatorade car in the 70s and 80s. 5 to Hendricks is like 3 to Childress or 2 to Penske.

When Chase first moved to cup I wanted him to get the #9, to me it didn't make sense for him to drive the #24.. I'm so happy to read the news he's getting the #9! I wish Byron could get the #5 or even #25 but looks like he will be in the #24.. I can understand Rick wanting to keep that number on the track though. Just my opinion, but I think the number 24 should be retired for a while... let the Jeff Gordon aura dissipate before giving it to someone else.

Only 5 cars aren't running throwback schemes this weekend which is disappointing. Kyle being one. I love this throwback idea

FS1 trying to sell some bullcrap that Austin Cindric's move is basically "acceptable" because that's how races have finished in the past in Canada. Because everyone else driving like a dick automatically makes it okay for him to drive like a dick. I'm okay with racing for the win and putting the bumper to someone but we're getting into "drove straight through him" range here yearly at Canada.
