I just watched it! Taboo paid 1K for that limited edition Hogan fig! I wanna be a Black Eye Pea! ^-^ It's not even worth 300 dollars. Hogan worked the toy guy, and the toy guy had no clue what he was doing by buying it for that price. Tells you a lot about him, and that he just wings it and doesn't know sh8t about toys or their value. He just gets ripped off and rips people off.

I know nothing about those figures or their worth, After reading your comment I wonder now if the show isn't entirely made up..."whing it as we go" kinda setup... All Taboo had to do was a quick Google search to compare prices surely?! I've never watched the show before but when I heard Hogan & wrestling figures were involved naturally I checked it out. Is it always celebrity's he's finding toys for? If so I'd say its more a celeb publicity show than the genuine thing...

The last couple episodes though, he's had high profile clients. Taboo, DMC, Gene Simmons, Toy Guru.

I laughed at how Tim Ash has one of the biggest collections ever, and they spent 2 mins there and only bought 1 figure. They actually leave with a box, and Tim says something about hoping what they got helps other wrestling collectors. Seemed like they grabbed a few items that didn't get featured.

What was DMC looking for? He was looking for toys from the '70s to stock up a camp he runs for kids. He may have wanted some for himself too, I can't recall.

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. But was dissapointed in the Tim Ash portion. He has a fabulous collection, but couldnt believe they could only walk out with 1 figure. Jordan knows A LOT about 70s toys and some 80s. But has a VERY small knowledge on wrestling. He picked up a WCW 2 pack from the 90s that were similar to LJNs and thought it was worth something till Steve corrected him. I laughed at how Tim Ash has one of the biggest collections ever, and they spent 2 mins there and only bought 1 figure. Agreed. Great collection. But had nothing there to buy.
