All the credit in the world to DDP; so great to know Hall and Jake are going in the WWE HOF.

I'm delighted to hear this news.....Hall is one of my all time faves. I also think don't understand why anyone thinks Nash should be in first.
That's just not the way WWE thinks about the HOF. what decade will people start to understand that? Hall going in first is no knock on Nash......why anybody thinks it is leaves me confused.

So weird that they only talked about Razor. I loved Razor but his nWo run made such a huge impact on the business how do they not even acknowledge that? Maybe they figure if he doesn't make it, they can bring in Fake Razor to fill in.

Maybe they figure if he doesn't make it, they can bring in Fake Razor to fill in. The only thing I could think of was that maybe they are planning on inducting the NWO together at a later time. It's still pretty weird either way but at least it's a reason.

I wonder if Hall will no show the hall of fame too? Seriously though, really good for him after all he's been through.

He did not innovated the ladder match it was done way before in Stampede. Scott had a good career for sure, he was everywhere but was he really a money draw in that time period. The NWO was a draw but that really was Hogan's doing more so then Hall or Nash. I don't know, I just don't see him as a HOF at this time but he will be so I say congrats. In WWE he definitely did with HBK. Which is what I was talking about. Actually the first Ladder Match in the WWF was Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart in 1992.

Why? He innovated the ladder match with his opponent, HBK. HBK is in the Hall. He had a great runnin WWE. His career spanned the 80s, 90s, and into the 00s. He was part of the original, the base 3, of the biggest and most well known group in professional wrestling history. Yes moreso than the Horseman, moreso than the Freebirds, etc. The nWo had a bigger effect on the business, and the fans than any other group. He is as deserving as any of the inductees this year. As far as the ladder match goes, invent and innovate are two totally different things. He did help innovate the ladder match, because his match with HBK showed people a new way it could work. I've seen some earlier ladder matches and they sucked compared to that match. The ladder was basically just used for climbing. I think NWO drew more because of Hall and Nash than it did because of Hogan. Hogan joining gave it some extra shock value, but at the time fans didn't care about Hogan. Hall and Nash made Hogan relevant again.

It's great you all think he deserves to be there and like I said I'm happy for Scott but I still don't think he did enough for the business as a whole to warrant the HOF even if it is the WWE Hall of Fame or at least not just yet. But he is there and I wish him all the best.

However, Koko is in and if anyone believes he belongs in there over some of the guys that that have yet to make it in, and Hall, then I cannot take "their'' opinions seriously. And in no way am I saying you believe that. WWE has set a precedent with putting some of the "lower" status wrestlers in. Now if they did it like the NFL or MLB, then we really would have the best of the best and have an actual voting committee.

I'd have loved if Hall/Jake & DDP had went in together and been inducted at the same time. Would have made for an emotional speech.

I'm I the only one that doesn't see Hall as a HOF. I mean I'm happy for him but I just don't think he is a HOF. Based on wrestling ability alone, I'd say. And the fact that he was one of the top superstars of the New Gen. If Yokozuna, Flair, Koko, Edge, The Briscos, Abdullah and the guys that all fit the token "old guy no one cares about" slot can get in, Scott Hall more than deserves a spot.

Sorry, I don't have Schwarzenegger in a bikini dancing to change your mind.

Sweet. With Hogan and Hall now signed we can finally complete our NWO figs. People had always said on here we will never get a Scott Hall figure so this is great news.
I was never a fan of Scott Hall. He was around for 5 minutes as Razor then gone and he was around for 5 mins as Scott Hall in WCW. He never really established himself in my eyes and is vastly over rated. But hey thats only my opinion.

Razor Ramon > Scott Hall. I know it sounds weird but that's how I've always felt. That being said, good for Hall and smart move for WWE to pounce now.
Hopefully a Mattel Razor is soon to follow.
