Surprised ypu had a Cena and Bryan at your TRU. The only ones from that series my store has are 2(one now) Brick and 12 or 13 Punks.
I haven't seen a Brock or Punk since they first hit. Cases here are 4x Cena and 4x Bryan. I'd love a Brock and Punk with the sale.
We had two different case assortments with the one being cena and Bryan heavy. And as of the week before Christmas they still had 14 cases in the overstock but now all that is left were the 2 Brock and 12-13 Punk figures.
I love that No attire Daniel Bryan BTW! I've been wanting that forever now! Good stuff dude! =-)
It's a solid figure, but I already had him--I just wanted another set of the belts.. and thats generally why I was bummed; I was after a few different figures, but what I got was a couple things just for the belts. (I think I'm coming across much more whiny than I actually felt, lol)
They actually had a ton of the Punk and a couple Brocks... as I said in an earlier reply that TRU is a weird haven for stuff. I still can't stand that Punk scan and I have no interest in Brock.
So here is my question (admittedly nothing too thought provoking): When (if) you're feeling bummed by a crappy toy hunt, what do you guys do to improve your mood?
Look at pictures of Jerry Lynn in WWF in 1997 wearing a ridiculous sequined track jacket.

Instead of watching the race (at least the first half) I went out searching for RVD again. I ended up going to 9 stores across 6 cities in my area...
The first 4 stores didn't have anything I was after, some decent basics and a small smattering of e24-26. (Kmart, Walmart, Target, TRU)
The 5th store, a Walmart, was the first ray of hope... and the first time I have seen any of e27 at retail.
Cool to see, but also kind of deflating because I wasn't planning on getting Taker or Kofi (although in person that Kofi is awesome--I just prefer him in trunks.)
The next 3 stores didn't have much of anything, I ended up getting a little Kevin Harvick #4 hotwheels-style car to make it feel like I got something out of the day. (Target, Walmart, TRU)
The final and 9th store I could reasonably visit was a Target where I found these: (!!!!)
I was freaking out... This guy had a damaged box, which may be why he was still hanging out, but I'm no MOC collector, so it's not a big deal.
Mine doesn't seem to have the QC problems many others have been facing. Nothing loose or broken, the paint is pretty darn good. He has a tiny brown dot on his nose (looks to be beard paint) and a line of 4 tiny-tiny black dots on the inside of his left forearm (I suppose paint from his wraps).
Thanks for looking/reading. I'm hyped, time to watch the race... Harvick up to 5th; way to bounce back!!!!

There is a TRU located in the city I grew up... it's generally considered to be a shady area. It's just your general low income area; nothing horrible. It's kind of a weird toy haven for old and new finds.
They sell bricks as toys now? Man, Mattel has gotten pretty cheap.
