Gotta say though...it's kinda cool that in the end, a legend like Sting only wrestled his first and also final match in the WWE.

That doesn't bother me. A Hall of Fame induction and final match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania would be tight.

If he does sign with WWE for one match, Undertaker is the only opponent that makes sense. And honestly, it only makes sense for Sting to win. While it's no secret that Vince gets aroused by burying talent he didn't create, I can't possibly imagine Sting signing with WWE for one match just to lose. I mean being used improperly was one of his main reasons for avoiding WWE in the first place. A one match debut with a loss would be intellectually- disabled. I'm still very much on the fence as to whether he will actually sign with WWE. Over a decade of this conversation is getting really old. Even returning to beat Taker wouldn't ameliorate the fact that a WWE run is waaaaaaay the overdue.

We all know this one match will be against Stong-as revenge for all the times he tried to fool people into thinking he was Sting.

Dirt Sheets just have NO credibility but people keep treating them like gospel.
On topic, Sting is old and not in great shape, one match will probs push him to his limits if he wants to make it good and memorable.

I think at this point him and Taker in a tag match would be the best option if he's just gonna wrestle one match and that way neither man loses. Turn Kane face again and have them face off against the Wyatt family.

I like the idea of Sting appearing after Taker defeats Lesnar to set up their match one year early. I don't like the fact Sting will lose his only WWE match ever. If I had my way, he would defeat a few guys throughout the year till he gets to Taker. Kane, Orton, Del Rio, Christian can all put on a great match with Sting while not losing any creditability in losing to him. Just my opinion.

If true then that's fine.
He needs to get in shape though.

Why do I get the feeling WWE is going to have Sting vs Taker at Wrestlemania and end it in a draw.

I hope this is not true, there are so many WWE wrestlers I'd like to see Sting face!
Sting VS. John Cena
Sting VS. Triple H
Sting VS. CM Punk (yea, if he ever comes back)....
Sting VS. The Shield (any/all of them)
Sting VS. Batista
Sting VS. Randy Orton
Sting VS. Shawn Michaels (I can dream)....
Sting VS. Alberto Del Rio
Any of these matches would be great... I can't believe they'd bother to sign him and then only want one match....

I highly highly doubt he would see losing to Undertaker, the one man he wants to face, at Wrestlemania, the place he wants to face him at, as getting 'buired' or 'being booked improperly'. I'm pretty sure he knows if he's gonna wrestle Taker at WM that he's gonna lose, and he's probably ok with that.

I wouldn't want to see Sting lose his first match at Wrestlemania so I'd rather see him and Taker go at it at Summerslam followed by a Wrestlemania rematch.

I would like to see this match, but as many fans have expressed it's hard not to think they just waited too long to make it happen. Also, Sting needs to lose the match, no way you can put a guy over who never did anything for the company when tons of other superstars have laid down and taken the one two three from Taker. If HHH, Michaels and Punk weren't allowed to beat him I'm not sure what makes Sting so special. Also, facing Taker isn't about winning or losing anyhow--its about being part of a long standing and important legacy, something I'm sure Sting would love to be a part of.

Just to lose? Sure there are worse ways and opponents to do a one and done. But I would be shocked if it went down that way. That being said, if a signing leads to Sting merchandise, he can fight Taker in an evening gown match for all I care.

Lol, yeah, but I would hope that at this point in his career he'd be wise enough to know that wrestling Taker at WM is a guaranteed loss, else why would you even want it.
