With Wyatt in control I am just wondering why he hasn't booked himself in a title match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship facing the WWE Champion Seth Rollins? I mean Wyatt has full control right? If he does then why wouldn't he just book himself to the front of the line as far as getting a title shot at Rollins' title? I just don't understand why Wyatt wouldn't book himself into the title picture why he wouldn't just give himself a title shot against Rollins or better yet if he is in full control just why he hasn't stripped Rollins of the title especially if he has that much power
Or if he has that much power why he hasn't given Rowan and Harper a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships or why he wouldn't just strip Kidd and Cesaro of their titles and give it to Rowan and Harper

NXT: April 8th, 2015 – McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California
A shot of the rocking crowd at WrestleMania Axxess was shown to kick things off. Tonight’s edition of NXT was special, featuring the Axxess Tournament to determine who from NXT would qualify for the Randy Savage Memorial Intercontinental Title Battle Royal at WrestleMania.
Rich Brennan, Jason Albert and Renee Young introduced the show, before sending to highlights from Axxess over the weekend. NXT was a big part of Axxess weekend, with several Superstar autograph sessions and the big tournament.
Before the opening contest, an advertisement ran to plug WWE’s partnership with Tapout.
BATTLE ROYAL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT – COREY GRAVES DEF. EVAN BOURNE IN 5:19; He hasn’t been a major player in NXT in 2015, but Evan Bourne came close to making the finals here. He scored several near falls with flash pins and high flying offense. Graves was too smart though, taking out his leg and winning with Lucky 13.
A commercial was shown to promote the WWE Shop.
BATTLE ROYAL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT – SHELTON BENJAMIN DEF. TYLER BREEZE IN 7:30; Tyler Breeze cut a short promo before the match, saying WrestleMania needed someone to pretty it up. Unfortunately for him, he ran into a game Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin ducked the Beauty Shot and connected with Paydirt to make it to the finals.
A special video package aired, focusing on Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano spoke, saying they’d never teamed before the match in Cleveland. “Apollo Crews is a mutual friend, who called us up when NXT came to my hometown, Cleveland.” Tommaso chimed in, saying Apollo had an issue with a trio of guys and felt like we could come in and make an impact. “So, we did.” Gargano added that you haven’t seen the last of them in NXT. “In fact, American Alpha has tweeted that they want a rematch and we’re more than happy to give it to them.” Tommaso finished things by saying the rematch will happen sooner than later, before announcing that they’ve officially signed WWE contracts.
Viewers were now taken to a video package with highlights from NXT’s special live event in San Jose during WrestleMania weekend. On that night, Sasha Banks retained her Women’s Championship against Charlotte, Bayley and Becky Lynch, while Austin Aries and Bobby Roode bested the Lucha Dragons in a Tag Team Title match. In the main event, Kevin Owens beat former NXT Champion and current Intercontinental Champion, Adrian Neville. The show hosted the largest crowd to witness an NXT show in history.
Before our main event, another video package ran. This one gave fans a preview of next week’s huge main event. Sasha Banks has turned back every challenge for her NXT Women’s Title and was the woman to dethrone Charlotte back in October. Despite both women falling to her at recent TakeOver events, Becky Lynch and Bayley have fought back to the top in hopes of another title shot. They meet in the main event next week, with the winner facing Sasha at TakeOver: Unstoppable.
BATTLE ROYAL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT FINALS – COREY GRAVES DEF. SHELTON BENJAMIN IN 11:13; A win would get Corey Graves his first main roster and WrestleMania appearance, while Shelton Benjamin would take a big step towards reigniting his career. They went back and forth, with the Axxess crowd pulling for Benjamin. He nailed Paydirt, but Graves got his foot on the bottom rope, confusing some of the fans and Shelton. He went back after Graves and was pulled into a small package for two. As they got up, Graves busted out the MK Ultra, his finisher from his pre-NXT days, to score the win.
The fans gave a mixed reaction as Corey Graves qualified for a spot at WrestleMania!
An ad ran for the Cruiserweight Classic. Episode two airs live, immediately following NXT!
To close out this week’s episode, a special look was given to Corey Graves’ appearance at WrestleMania. Cameras followed him as he arrived at the arena. He met up with his wife and children, showing them around the beauty that is Levi’s Stadium. He spoke about feeling lucky that he got to live out a dream and walk down the aisle at a WrestleMania. His run in the Randy Savage Memorial Intercontinental Title Battle Royal was highlighted, where he nearly lasted until the end. Following his elimination, he headed backstage and emotions took him over. He held his family tightly as the video ended.
A few seconds passed, before the image returned, this time showing an empty chair. Corey Graves entered the shot and took a seat. He had a concerned look on his face before addressing the camera. “Competing at WrestleMania was the greatest moment in my career. It was something I dreamt about since I was a kid. And it finally happened, but is now bittersweet.” Corey went to reveal that he’s been dealing with some concussion related issues lately. “During the battle royal at WrestleMania, I don’t remember when it happened exactly, but I took a hard shot and suffered another concussion. I didn’t even realize it until I left my family and went to shower, when I nearly collapsed. I took the concussion tests and it was clear what happened. For the time being, at least, I can’t compete. I want to be hopeful, but I’m a blunt person and I’ve gotta say, it doesn’t look good. It’s out of my hands and unfortunately, I don’t know what’s next.”

Corey Graves in ring career is pretty much over now...I can see him retiring from NXT and Graves pretty much becoming a color commentator I mean all signs are pretty much pointing to it in the sense that he will still be an on-screen persona he will still have an on-screen presence as a commentator but will he be a commentator on RAW or on Smackdown?

Cruiserweight Classic: April 8th, 2015 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
The intro video for the Cruiserweight Classic kicked things off, before William Regal and Mauro Ranallo introduced things. They hyped the first episode, saying it blew up on Twitter last week. “Some fans even called it the freshest thing the WWE has done in years,” said Mauro.
Last week, Billy Kidman was the special guest analyst. This week, another former Cruiserweight Champion stepped in. Sean Waltman went over the current bracket and recapped the results from week one. Kota Ibushi defeated Lince Dorado, Tajiri returned and bested Gurv Sihra, Gran Metalik beat Jason Lee and Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Kenneth Johnson. Tonight, four huge matches continue the tournament.
Before the first match, a video package was shown to highlight both participants. Marty Scurll calls himself the “Villain” and said he wasn’t in the tournament to make friends. “I’m not just the best cruiserweight in the world, I’m the best wrestler in the world.” The focus shifted to Tyson Dux, representing Canada. The veteran spoke about his past opportunities in the WWE. “I’ve been here before but I’ve never made the impression I wanted to. That’s all gonna change in this tournament. Like the Hart Family, Edge, Christian, Chris Jericho and every legend from my country, I’m gonna show everyone why Canada is the greatest wrestling country in the world.” CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – MARTY SCURLL DEF. TYSON DUX IN 5:53; This was a battle of two guys who liked taking things to the mat. Dux and Scurll jockeyed for position there, exchanging the upper hand constantly. Marty showed his villainous tendencies, raking Dux in the eyes and using it to take control. He slapped on the chicken wing to make Dux submit. Scurll will now face Tajiri in the Sweet Sixteen. An ad ran to plug the WWE Shop. Viewers were treated to a video package to set up the next tournament match. Cedric Alexander has made quite the name for himself outside of the WWE in recent years. He spoke about it and representing the United States. “Other places saw my ability, yet they held me back. At the end of the day, I had to leave and take a chance on myself. This tournament is everything for me. If I don’t succeed, then the doubters were right all along.” His opponent would be Italy’s Fabian Aichner. Aichner called himself the future of European wrestling, but said that all changed when the Cruiserweight Classic was announced. He now wants to be the future of the WWE. CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – CEDRIC ALEXANDER DEF. FABIAN AICHNER IN 6:31; Like the previous match, this was a competitive outing. Aichner, the more unknown entity in the match, impressed viewers with his athleticism. He busted out a frog splash and got two out a sitout powerbomb. Alexander would not be denied though, rallying and winning with the Lumbar Check.
A promo ran to promote Backlash. It comes to you on April 26th on the WWE Network, with the newly announced main event of Seth Rollins defending the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Kurt Angle!
The next tournament match was hyped. Australian representative Damian Slater was highlighted first. He’s competed around the world, including a stint with the historic NWA and matches at the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Slater was one of a selected few to compete with the NXT roster at the Arnold Classic in Columbus a few months ago. His opponent should be familiar to the WWE Universe. The Brian Kendrick, former WWE Tag Team Champion, returns for the first time since 2009. He remains good friends with Daniel Bryan, who he trained with, and said he’s back to prove himself. “When I was let go in 2009, I had no one to blame but myself. I had all kinds of personal issues and for a few years there, things were very dark. But I got turned my life around and there’s one thing left to do. Prove to myself and everyone watching that I’ve still got it.”
CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – THE BRIAN KENDRICK DEF. DAMIAN SLATER IN 5:27; The fans were more than excited to see The Brian Kendrick back in the WWE. Because of that, Slater was routinely booed for most of his offense. However, it was Kendrick who resorted to underhanded tactics. He kicked the middle rope into Slater’s face and used a handful of tights on a rollup. He went on to win with Sliced Bread #2.
An advertisement ran to promote the newest show on the WWE Network, Unfiltered with Renee Young. Watch as Renee interviews WWE Superstars in their most candid moments. The show premieres immediately following Backlash!
One final video package ran before the main event. The first man highlighted was Fenix. Representing Mexico, the luchador spoke through a translator. At just 24 years old, he’s one of the youngest competitors in the tournament. He spoke of past stars from Mexico, including Rey Mysterio, who found success in the WWE, citing that he wanted to be next. One of the biggest names in the entire tournament, Jushin Thunder Liger, was chronicled next. He also used a translator, speaking in Japanese about having never competed for the WWE. He appeared in WCW several times, but the WWE never happened, until now. The 50 year old is the oldest man in the tournament, while also being the most accomplished.
CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – FENIX DEF. JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER IN 10:44; The crowd was excited for this one and very much behind Liger. Despite his age, he more than kept up with Fenix, who moved at a wild pace. Fenix was in control until Liger delivered Shotei for a near fall. Liger got rolling, but Fenix came back with a wild double jump super rana. Liger got his shoulder up and fought him off, before connecting on the Liger Bomb. Fenix survived by getting his foot on the rope. Liger went for it again, but Fenix slipped free. Liger charged with Shotei again, but Fenix caught him with the Spanish Fly to score the upset.
The crowd were surprised, fully expecting the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger to go far. They gave the guys a standing ovation as they stood in the middle of the ring with the referee. Fenix’s hand was raised and Liger gave him a round of applause. The men shook hands and Liger pointed to Fenix, before leaving the ring to him. Fenix will meet Gran Metalik in the next round.
To end the show, Sean Waltman spoke over clips of the guys involved in next week’s show. “Next week, first round action continues when American Samoa native Sean Maluta takes on Will Ospreay, the prodigy from England. Can Harv Sihra fare better than his brother did last week, when he meets Mexico’s Andrade Almas? Two of the flashier studs in the tournament collide when TJ Perkins goes one on one with Da Mack in a battle of the Philippines vs. Germany. And, in our main event, the UK’s Jack Gallagher takes on Pakistan’s Mustafa Ali!”

Using Sean Waltman in the CWC voice over using X-Pac I mean it makes sense given X-Pac is a future first ballot WWE Hall of Famer but also one of the founding members of DX and a former member of the nWo I mean X-Pac he has virtually done it all in this business especially at the Cruiserweight division he is a legend and him hyping up the CWC it makes this an even bigger deal which I definitely commend you for
Fenix beating Jushin Thunder Liger in the main event...I mean Liger is a legend not only in this business but he is also a legend in Japan as well and to see him competing in this tournament makes this all the more special but seeing Fenix go over Liger that is definitely an upset if I do say so myself but at the same time it puts Fenix over huge not only as a cruiserweight but it puts him over as far as being an even bigger babyface going forward
The Brian Kendrick beating Howard Slater...I mean the first time we have seen Kendrick in a WWE ring since 2009 when he had his bodyguard Big Zeke Ezekiel Jackson with him and now all these years later he is all by himself competing in this division in the CWC if anyone can win this it is definitely The Brian Kendrick he is a veteran he is probably the most experienced out of all of the Cruiserweights
Cedric Alexander going over Fabian Aichner I mean Cedric Alexander he is another Cruiserweight to watch for especially in this division and with this win I mean could Cedric be the one?
Marty Scrull beating Tyson Dux I mean this was a mat wrestling traditional match in of that of itself which is rare to see especially from cruiserweights but at the same time this match definitely kept me entertained though to say the least but with Scrull he can definitely get the job done

Smackdown: April 9th, 2015 – American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas
The weekly Smackdown intro video played to begin the show, with intercutting Wyatt Family signature images, making for a creepy start. The pyrotechnics display and voice of Mauro Ranallo signaled the official beginning to the show. Mauro was joined by Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton, who helped hype tonight’s show.
Before anything official could get going, “Voices” hit the loudspeakers, signaling the arrival of Randy Orton. “Since losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, we’ve only seen Randy Orton congratulate Cody Rhodes and then as Cody’s partner last Thursday, to mixed results,” said Ranallo. Orton got on the microphone, talking about his behavior over the past year. “The Authority handpicked me as the face of the WWE and honestly, I let it get to my head. Even when Daniel Bryan took the WWE World Heavyweight Title from me, I stayed the same egotistical son of a bitch,” said Orton. He continued, saying he saw the challenge Cody Rhodes put forth at WrestleMania and took it lightly. “I underestimated Cody and, though that’s no excuse, it opened my eyes.” Orton called Cody to join him in the ring. Cody Rhodes obliged, seemingly unsure of what to make of this as he entered the ring. Once inside, Randy motioned that he meant no harm. “Losing to you at WrestleMania changed me. It’s one thing to lose on the biggest show of the year. That’s happened before, but losing to someone you helped mold? That’s humbling. Cody, you humbled me,” said Orton. Cody responded, “That’s good to hear, but excuse me if I don’t exactly trust the thing you say.” Orton smirked and said he understood. “Look, I didn’t just call you out here to tell you that. I wanted to ask you for a rematch at Backlash. You and me, one more time, no nonsense.” Still unsure, Cody accepted. Orton stuck his hand out for a handshake. The fans chanted “No,” as Cody looked around. He gave the hand a quick shake and backed away, but Orton made no move to attack.
JOHN CENA DEF. DREW MCINTYRE W/ HEATH SLATER AND JINDER MAHAL IN 6:59; This past Monday on Raw, John Cena began his climb back into title contention with a win over Jinder Mahal. Here, he got competition from Jinder’s buddy Drew McIntyre, and put him down with the Attitude Adjustment.
Mauro Ranallo directed audiences to a video package recapping the altercation between Seth Rollins and Kurt Angle this past Monday. Angle explained the reason for his return and got Rollins to agree to a WWE World Heavyweight Title match at Backlash. Seth added a caveat, saying if he wins, Angle can’t compete for a WWE Title shot as long as he’s champion.
NON-TITLE MATCH: TYSON KIDD AND CESARO W/ NATALYA DEF. LOS MATADORES W/ EL TORITO IN 3:53; The new WWE Tag Team Champions looked to add to their momentum in this one. Their opponents at Backlash, The Usos, were beaten down by the Wyatt Family on Monday, which Kidd happily tweeted about. Cesaro won it for his guys after a popup uppercut on Diego.
Standing by backstage was Renee Young with WWE Intercontinental Champion Adrian Neville. She asked him about his decision to agree to a title match with Tyler Breeze tonight. “You know, people tweeted all me week about this but the funny thing is, Tyler’s not some unknown entity. I’ve faced him in NXT and, more importantly, I’ve beaten him,” said Neville. He added that he didn’t become Intercontinental Champion to duck challengers and that he hasn’t forgotten about his unfinished business with Dolph Ziggler.
ROMAN REIGNS DEF. ALBERTO DEL RIO IN 8:20; Roman Reigns looked to send a direct message to the United States Champion, Alexander Rusev, by taking down the man Rusev beat to become champion. Del Rio’s game plan to attack the arm worked to an extent, as Reigns couldn’t hit the Spear. He still took it home with a huge powerbomb, though.
The New Day made their way to the stage, without the usual excitement and energy we’re grown accustomed to. Big E spoke first, saying they don’t understand the WWE Universe. “Why are you all so negative? We come out here, dancing and gyrating and having a good time every week, yet you boo us,” he said. Xavier Woods added that it made them reconsider some things. “Are we truly the bringers of positivity? If we were, would we be failing so badly? We bring it so hard every single night and every ungrateful one of you wants to chant ‘New Day sucks’. We had to ask. Is it our fault?” The fans cheered that notion, until Kofi Kingston chimed in. “During WrestleMania weekend, I spent some time with my kids and you know what they told me? They said ‘New Day Rocks’. They understood.” Kofi said that he believes his kids more than the WWE Universe, and they would continue to rock, whether the fans liked it or not.
Backstage, Renee Young interviewed Tyler Breeze about his first shot at WWE gold tonight. Breeze ignored the question, focusing on himself in his selfie stick. Renee asked again and Tyler seemed to only just notice her. He said that the WWE Universe should be thrilled with his title shot. “Picture this. On one hand, you have a weird looking Hobbit and on the other, there’s a super good looking piece of deliciousness. Tell me, Renee; who would you rather have as Intercontinental Champion?” Tyler walked off before Renee could answer.
NON-TITLE MATCH: AJ LEE DEF. CAMERON IN 2:16; A short match that saw AJ Lee quickly put down Cameron with the Black Widow. After the match, AJ grabbed a microphone and addressed Emma. “Normally, I wouldn’t be bothered by an opponent focusing on someone else entirely, but this is a different story. Whatever your issues are with Paige, you better put them aside because I’m not done with you. Taking this title was only the beginning. You kicked my skull into glass and put me on the shelf. I’m not resting until you do the same,” said AJ.
“BRAY WYATT! BRAY WYATT”! The voice of Jimmy Uso was heard as the cameras cut back to the ring. Mauro Ranallo noted that Jey wasn’t in the building tonight because of injuries sustained on Raw. Jimmy called out Bray again. The Wyatt signature hit and the man running the WWE appeared on the Titantron. Bray said, “I do not take kindly to be summoned like some commoner, Jimmy. Understand, I am not threatened by your tone of voice. On the contrary, I’m intrigued.” Jimmy kept it short, saying that what Bray did on Raw wasn’t going to fly. “You got your little power and the first thing you do is have your followers there jump us from behind. Why? Because we beat them at WrestleMania? My brother couldn’t be here tonight because of it, but I’m out here to speak for both of us. We want Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, one last time, this Monday!” said Jimmy. Bray laughed, “That’s a wonderful idea! You see, I didn’t make that tag team match on Monday out of revenge or spite. I did it because it was chaotic. I deal in chaos. But I don’t like complacency, so let’s up the ante on Monday. How about, we make it a Steel Cage match?” The crowd popped for that news, but Bray also added something else. “The winner gets the Tag Team Title shot at Backlash. So, how badly do you want this match, Jimmy? Enough to put a shot at the titles on the line? Enough to lock yourselves in a cage with my family?” Jimmy responded, “Hell yea,” and exited. Footage was shown from some of the best moments during WrestleMania weekend, as the WWE Superstars participated in several events around the Santa Clara area.WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP – ADRIAN NEVILLE (C) DEF. TYLER BREEZE IN 13:42; Like their matches in NXT, this was a very even encounter. Tyler Breeze impressed fans who were unfamiliar with his work, coming close on several occasions. The Miz and Summer Rae strolled to ringside, distracting Adrian Neville as he went up for the Red Arrow. Dolph Ziggler also came out, trading blows with Miz. Breeze rolled Neville up for two and went for the Beauty Shot, but Neville ducked and scored on a wild reverse rana. The Red Arrow connected to give Neville the win.
Adrian Neville left up the ramp, stopping to watch Dolph Ziggler and The Miz brawl. Instead of intervening, he hoisted the Intercontinental Title high over his head.

- Neville successfully retains his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Tyler Breeze in the main event...a real back and forth contest and it didn't even matter that The Miz & Summer Rae were trying to interfere but then Ziggler coming out to even the odds sending Miz in retreat while Neville retains the title taking advantage while Breeze was distracted...I mean Neville proved that he is a fighting champion I mean he beat Breeze cleanly in the middle of that ring but with that said I mean now at Backlash he would have to face Ziggler right for the title? I mean Ziggler was the WWE Intercontinental Champion and he never got his fair one on one rematch well he did but it ended in a No Contest so I wonder if it will be Neville/Ziggler II at Backlash?
- The Usos vs Rowan & Harper in a Steel Cage Match on RAW...winner earns the right to face the WWE Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Kidd at Backlash...I think that that's a great idea
- AJ Lee the WWE Women's Champion beats Cameron...I mean it is like ever since AJ became champion she has been gaining momentum ever since beating Emma for that title back at WrestleMania but AJ Lee is right about one thing that being that Emma has basically considered her an afterthought because Emma has been so focused on Paige not even giving her a second thought but AJ Lee refusing to be an afterthought I wonder what she is going to do about it? I wonder if this means she will attack Emma get the drop on her because she is so focused on Paige?
- It seems The New Day are turning heel so with that said I wonder what this means for the WWE Tag Team division in general because you have yet another heel tag team
- Reigns beating Del Rio...I would have thought that Rusev would have showed up either during the match to attack Reigns causing a DQ or a No Contest or that Rusev would have attacked Reigns after the match but Reigns winning the match sending a direct message I figure Rusev the WWE United States Champion wherever he is he was probably watching this match but Reigns winning the match with a Powerbomb Reigns should use that as a signature move or as a secondary finisher
- WWE Tag Team Champions Kidd & Cesaro beating Los Matadores...it seems the champions are gaining momentum almost to the point of wondering just which team will be able to beat them for those titles? I mean The Usos have their rematch clause for the titles but then again Rowan and Harper also were the former champions as well did they even get a rematch for those titles? If not then I can see it being a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships but then if New Day throw their names into the hat I can see it being a Fatal 4 Way for the titles if that happens
- I wonder if Kurt Angle will have his first match back in a WWE ring on RAW this Monday? If he does I wonder who Angle will face
- Cena's rise back to the top continues with him beating yet another 3MB member this time beating Drew McIntyre I mean he beat Mahal and now McIntyre it makes me wonder just who is next for Cena? I mean he is essentially starting from the bottom to get back into the main event so it makes me wonder if Cena will have to rise his way through the lower midcard into the upper midcard and beyond so that being said I wonder if that means Cena eventually if and when he stops beating jobbers and gets into the midcard I wonder if that means he will go for the WWE United States Championship or challenge for the IC Title which is something Cena has never done before in his career? Cena having to rise above all of that to get back into the main event in a sense it is like Cena is earning redemption or he is earning the respect of the fans little by little I must say that this is a great idea
- Cody Rhodes he shouldn't trust Randy Orton at all...I mean Orton is a snake he is a Viper that is what vipers do they are cunning they are manipulative they wouldn't hesitate to betray you...Orton can't be trusted and if Rhodes were as smart as I think he is he would never trust Randy Orton...even if Orton comes bearing handshakes trying to say he is humble he isn't...that is just his way of trying to sucker Cody in and Cody should strike first before Orton does because we all know that he will

Raw: April 13th, 2015 – O2 Arena in London, England
After the signature WWE intro, complete with Wyatt interruption, the cameras immediately cut to the ring where Zack Ryder stood. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Night Raw and we’re getting right into the action tonight,” said Michael Cole, introducing things alongside Jerry Lawler and Booker T. Zack Ryder’s facial expression changed from ready for action to surprise as “Cult of Personality” hit. CM Punk stormed to the ring with a purpose, confusing Ryder. “That’s not Zack’s scheduled opponent,” explained Cole. Punk said something to Ryder, before clocking him with a right hand. He got Ryder in the corner and laid into him with vicious strikes and kicks. Punk pulled Ryder to the middle of the ring and drilled him with a Go to Sleep. “What the hell was that all about?” asked Booker. Punk snatched a microphone from the ring announcer, demanding Daniel Bryan. “Get your ass out here right now, Daniel!” shouted Punk. He didn’t have to wait long, as Daniel Bryan stepped onto the stage with a slight smile. “Hey, Punk. You know, you sound like a guy who lost last week. Someone who lost to a certain someone they claimed to be better than.” This enraged Punk further, who responded by saying Bryan got lucky last week. “I told you I was done with you, but you just had to do that. You just couldn’t go away. The truth is, Bryan, you don’t deserve to be in the same ring with me. You know that. I know that. And yet, that three count has been replayed in my head, over and over again. I can’t stop it,” said Punk. Bryan told Punk to stop and said he knew why he was called out here. “You want to accept my challenge from last week, don’t you? You wanna give me a Submissions Match, don’t you?” The smile couldn’t be wiped from Bryan’s face, while Punk struggled with his emotions. He went to speak but stopped twice, not wanting to say it. Finally, he said, “Yes. You get your Submissions Match. Not because you deserve it, but because I can’t live with myself if I allow you have the last victory over me. But, you need to not look at this like a reward. Understand that at Payback, I’m not just gonna make you tap. I’m gonna hold that submission in until I hear something snap.” Punk stared a hole through Bryan, who had the smile wiped from his face. He stared back as the segment ended.
An advertisement ran to promote Backlash, airing live on the WWE Network on April 26th, 2015!
THE MIZ AND TYLER BREEZE W/ SUMMER RAE DEF. ADRIAN NEVILLE AND DOLPH ZIGGLER IN 10:19; On Thursday, Adrian Neville successfully retained the Intercontinental Title against Tyler Breeze, but these four have been at each other’s throats. The Ziggler/Miz rivalry continued as they brawled to the outside, near the end. When they fell outside, they shook the ropes, knocking Neville off the top. He got to his feet, right into a Beauty Shot, earning Breeze a pinfall victory over the Intercontinental Champion.
“Real Deal” played over the speakers as former WWE Women’s Champion, Emma, made her way down to the ring. Clips were shown of the recent stalking and attacks she’s had to endure at the hands of her former friend Paige. When the video ended, Emma looked away from the Titantron with disgust on her face. “This is what I’ve had to deal with over the past few weeks. A deranged psychopath has been chasing me with weapons and making my life a living hell. I can’t eat. I can’t sleep. I’m always looking over my shoulder to see if Paige is there, wielding some kind of object.” Emma said she should be focused on her upcoming Women’s Title match, but she can’t and she wanted justice. The Wyatt signature hit and Bray Wyatt appeared on the Titantron. “Oh, Emma. Oh, poor little Emma. You request justice for the sins Paige has committed? It’s like you’re not paying attention at all. Paige’s chaos fits right into my vision for the WWE, so I see no reason to do anything about her actions. In fact, I applaud her. You’re on your own.” Emma looked appalled as Bray vanished from the screen. Her mood quickly changed again, when AJ Lee’s theme hit. The current WWE Women’s Champion came skipping down to ringside. She entered the ring and stood across from Emma with a microphone. AJ told Emma to shift her focus to the champ because she’s no pushover. Emma wasn’t concerned, “Oh, please. I beat you already and the only reason you have my title is because of the unjust rules at WrestleMania. I’m concerned about the lunatic with the weapons because she’s dangerous. You have on weapons, you are no threat to me.” AJ Lee surprisingly smiled and reached into the back of her shirt. From it, she pulled out a kendo stick that was sticking out of the back of her pants, hiding. Emma’s eyes widened and she charged forward. AJ struck her in the ribs. She added one to the back, before Emma escaped to the outside. “AJ Lee just reminded Emma how dangerous she can be,” said Michael Cole.
Returning from break, Emma hastily made her way to the parking lot. Renee Young caught up with her as she reached her car, to ask about having both AJ Lee and Paige on her tail. Emma responded by saying she’s sick and tired of this. “I’m the woman who put them both on the shelf and I’m done running. Next week, things change.”
RANDY ORTON DEF. ADAM ROSE W/ THE EXOTIC EXPRESS IN 1:45; Orton ended this quickly with an RKO as an impressed Cody Rhodes watched on a monitor.
Returning, Alexander Rusev and Lana were standing in the ring. Lane spoke, introducing the “greatest United States Champion in WWE history.” Before she could say her reason for coming out, Roman Reigns’ theme hit as he walked down to the ring. Lana shouted over his theme when he reached ringside. “Who do you think you are? You dare interrupt us?” Surprisingly, Rusev put his hand on her microphone and slowly lowered it, before taking it himself. He spoke, “Roman Reigns. Just the man I was hoping to see. Two weeks ago, you made the mistake of punching me in the mouth. Last week, you did it again. Please, come try it again.” Rusev removed his title and handed it to Lana, ready for a fight. Reigns smirked and responded, saying he didn’t come out here for a fight tonight. “Not unless it’s for that title. You see, I didn’t punch you in the face just because you’re Alexander Rusev. I did it because I want the United States Championship.” Lana laughed at Roman, saying he doesn’t deserve a title shot. Roman responded, “You sure about that, honey? Last time I checked, I beat the man you took the title from on Smackdown and I’ve knocked out your so-called ‘Super Athlete’ twice.” Rusev turned to Lane but then quickly delivered the Machka Kick, knocking Reigns down. The “Big Dog” got up, and was greeted with a shot from the United States Title. Lana looked down at Roman, then turned to Rusev and said, “CRUSH!” Rusev got on Reigns and applied the Accolade, wrenching back as far as he possibly could. Officials rushed out to take Rusev off. They failed until Lana finally gave Rusev the signal to let go. The United States Champion stood over the fallen Roman Reigns as the show cut to commercial.
A vignette ran to promote Ryback. For the first time since WrestleMania, Ryback returns this Thursday on Smackdown!
JOHN CENA DEF. HEATH SLATER W/ 3MB IN 6:46; Similar to his matches against Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal, John Cena found some resilience from the 3MB members. However, he managed to come out on top via Attitude Adjustment.
John Cena couldn’t enjoy his victory, as he blindsided from behind by Damien Sandow. “What the hell?” asked Booker T. Sandow picked Cena up and planted him with You’re Welcome. Sandow looked down at Cena with hatred in his eyes. “What the hell is going on? Why did Damien Sandow do that?” asked Cole.
CHARLOTTE DEF. EVA MARIE IN 0:48; Eva Marie tapped out almost immediately to the Figure Four.
Backstage, Renee Young interviewed WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins. She asked him about coming face to face with Kurt Angle later tonight. Seth said he’s stood in front of Angle only once before and he found himself floored by the Angle Slam. “I promise you, that won’t happen tonight. In fact, it might be Kurt who looks up at the lights tonight, just like he will at Backlash.”
STEEL CAGE MATCH – THE USOS DEF. THE WYATT FAMILY IN 12:42; The WWE Tag Team Champions, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, came down to watch this match from ringside. The Usos went right after Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, showing more aggression than we even got at WrestleMania, when they won the Tag Team Titles. Harper and Rowan brought the fire as well, throwing the Usos into the walls of the cage. The battle came to an end when the Usos got the Wyatts down with a barrage of superkicks. Jimmy and Jey each climbed to the top. Jey climbed out, while Jimmy came off the top with a massive splash, pinning Rowan.
The Tag Team Champions backed up the ramp, watching their Backlash opponents with concern on their faces. “The Usos have done it again! They’ve found a way to defeat the Wyatt Family and have the Tag Team Titles in their sights,” said Cole.
A vignette ran to promote the Lucha Dragons. They made their debut the night after WrestleMania and will be in action this Thursday.
In Bray Wyatt’s dark room, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper flanked him with their heads held in shame. Alberto Del Rio entered the picture, saying he needed a word with Bray. Bray looked up at his family, sighed and nodded for Del Rio to proceed. Alberto said he was tired of being a background player. “I’ve held the WWE Title several times and just a few months ago, I was the United States Champion. And yet, I’ve competed just once since WrestleMania. I deserve better!” Bray pondered it and said Alberto would have a match on Thursday, with Erick Rowan. “You get your opportunity and Erick here has another shot at making me proud.” When Del Rio turned to leave, Bray stopped him to announce it would be a Falls Count Anywhere match.
To close out tonight’s Raw, the entrance music of Seth Rollins hit to a chorus of boos. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion made his way to the ring with a smug look on his face. He grabbed a microphone and started talking about his accomplishments in the past few months. “The man who drove the dagger that broke the Shield. Mr. Money in the Bank. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion. WrestleMania main event winner. I did all those things in just the past five months.” He shifted the talk to Kurt Angle, saying people always talk about Kurt’s rookie year being the best in history, but Seth thinks his first year as a singles star is better. “I didn’t wait until my eleventh month alone to become the man like Kurt, I did it in two.” Seth continued, stating that Kurt, on his best day in his prime, couldn’t touch him. This brought out Kurt Angle to the stage. He spoke as he walked down to the ring, saying Seth talked a big game for someone who has taken shortcuts every step of the way. “The Authority gave you the opening to become Mr. Money in the Bank, without Kane you wouldn’t have beaten Dean Ambrose at TLC and you took advantage at the Royal Rumble to beat Brock Lesnar, someone I’ve beaten several times.” Seth replied that he beat Daniel Bryan, John Cena and won at WrestleMania all on his own. “Which is exactly what I’m gonna do again at Backlash.” Angle was now in the ring, face to face with Seth, who said he can’t believe in Kurt when he hasn’t wrestled in a WWE ring in eight years. Suddenly, the Wyatt signature hit as Bray Wyatt appeared on the Titantron. “Seth, you’ve given me an idea. I think my followers need to see what Kurt Angle brings to the table in 2015. Next Monday, I say Kurt Angle has his first match back.” Seth let out a loud laugh, but quickly had his tune changed when Bray added that Seth would be involved too. “You each get one week to find partners for a tag team main event. But you know what? That doesn’t sound fun enough for me. So how about we make it a tornado tag? Let the chaos and violence wash over Raw.” Before Bray could finish, Seth clocked Angle in the back of the head with his title.

- Bray Wyatt making chaotic matches left and right...he has the WWE Champion Seth Rollins and the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship Kurt Angle finding partners for next week to compete in not just any regular Tag Team Match but a Tornado Tag Team Match...I mean is this all a part of Bray's plan to soften both of them up before Backlash? If that is his plan it makes it that much easier for Bray Wyatt to take the WWE Championship away from either Rollins or Angle depending on who wins
- Seth Rollins the WWE Champion hitting Angle with the title belt...it seems Rollins has the upper hand heading into Backlash
- I am surprised The Wyatt Family let Del Rio go that easily...I mean Del Rio went into their lair and most people who go into their lair don't make it out unscathed but Del Rio facing one third of The Wyatt Family facing Erick Rowan I wonder if Luke Harper won't get involved?
- Lucha Dragons vignette...I wonder who they will face at Smackdown?
- The Usos beating The Wyatt Family to keep their #1 Contendership in the Steel Cage Match...I mean the WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd & Cesaro showing up to watch this match I am surprised that they didn't enter the cage to try to take out The Usos or even Harper & Rowan but if they had then they probably would have been the ones who ended up flat on their backs but I am sure they probably wanted to face The Usos because I am sure if they had faced Harper & Rowan had they won this match they wouldn't stand a chance while against The Usos they stand more of a chance
- Charlotte rising up through the ranks...I mean it is only a matter of time before she ends up in the WWE Women's Championship picture I mean it is in her DNA she is the daughter of 2-time WWE Hall of Famer the greatest of all time The Nature Boy Ric Flair Naitch so her beating Eva Marie was a squash but it further builds up Charlotte as a legitimate threat in the division I mean she is undefeated so it begs the question of where Charlotte goes from here?
- John Cena beating the third member of 3MB Heath Slater...I mean it seems Cena has been on a roll beating not one not 2 but all 3 members of 3MB week to week to week it seems Cena's rise back to the top hasn't been derailed yet but then post-match he gets laid out by none other than Damien Sandow...I mean if anyone knows the history here Sandow cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Cena and failed and ever since Sandow's career has been in a tailspin in a downward spiral because had Sandow cashed in successfully who knows where his career would be so The Intellectual Savior of the Masses I am sure he is Cena's next opponent in Cena's rise back to the top
- Ryback I wonder if The Big Guy if and when he gets back I wonder if he will come back as a babyface or as a heel? But more importantly who will his opponent be
- Rusev the WWE United States Champion attacking Reigns and putting him in the Accolade with Reigns passing out in the hold I mean definite message sent...Rusev is obviously not scared of or even intimidated by Reigns but after this attack I think it is safe to say that we will get Reigns/Rusev at Backlash for the WWE United States Championship...can Reigns be the one to end Rusev's undefeated streak and become the new WWE United States Champion? Or will Rusev retain his title and keep his impressive streak going?
- Orton beating Rose...no doubt that this match was a squash match but Orton I am surprised he didn't punt Rose's brains out but Cody watching this match on the monitor I wonder if Rhodes will end up having a match this week or next week
- Emma not only has Paige to worry about but now she is focusing on the WWE Women's Champion AJ Lee...but AJ Lee hitting Emma with the kendo stick well Emma did have it coming
- Punk/Bryan Submission Match for Backlash...I mean Punk he beat Bryan at WrestleMania but will he be able to do it again at Backlash but in not just any match but a Submission Match? Or will Bryan be able to make Punk tap out and get some revenge given what happened at WrestleMania?

NXT: April 15th, 2015 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
The WWE signature and NXT intro video played, before going right down to the ring. Rich Brennan, Jason Albert and Renee Young welcomed the viewers during the opening entrances.
JACK SWAGGER W/ THE ALL-AMERICAN REAL AMERICANS DEF. APOLLO CREWS IN 5:21; Swagger got revenge for Crews’ win over him a few weeks back. He had help from Zeb Colter, who tripped Crews up. “Apollo could certainly use help from his buddies Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa against this unit,” said Rich Brennan.
Backstage, Dasha Fuentes stood by with Becky Lynch. She asked for her thoughts on facing Bayley for a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Becky called Bayley one of the toughest females to ever step foot in a WWE ring. “Honestly, if I’m not getting the title shot, I can think of no one more deserving than Bayley. But, she’s not getting that title shot, because I will make her tap out tonight.”
An ad ran to promote the hottest mobile game around, WWE Supercard!
BARON CORGIN DEF. STEVE CUTLER IN 0:24; Shelton Benjamin watched the match from atop the stage, looking mildly impressed with Corbin.
A promo was shown to plug the latest Blu-Ray release, focusing on the life and career of the Ultimate Warrior.
For the first time since suffering his first loss, Finn Balor walked down to the ring. His usual vigor wasn’t evident and his head hung. Once in the ring, Finn apologized to the fans. He said that he couldn’t end the NXT Title reign of Kevin Owens, which he knew people wanted. “Honestly, I’m disappointed in myself. You see, I put on the paint and come out as the demon, which you all love. I beat the likes of Solomon Crowe and Corey Graves, but when I came out as myself, I failed against Kevin Owens.” Finn continued, saying that if he can’t be at his best as himself, then he might need to reconsider some things about his career.
ENZO AMORE AND COLIN CASSADY W/ CARMELLA DEF. BRODUS CLAY AND CURT HAWKINS IN 3:54; A more aggressive Enzo and Cass gained momentum by beating Clay and Hawkins with the Rocket Launcher. They have a Tag Team Title rematch at TakeOver.
Like Becky Lynch earlier, Bayley was interviewed about tonight’s main event. She shared Becky’s sentiments that her opponent would be the next best choice to face Sasha Banks, but said winning a Women’s Championship is her dream and she’ll accomplish it tonight. After walking off, Tye Dillinger appeared on the screen, with a “5” sign. He had a disappointed look on his face and shook his head.
HIDEO ITAMI DEF. SYLVESTER LEFORT IN 2:09; Itami dominated, beating Lefort with a Shotgun Dropkick and motioning for the NXT Title around his waist after the match.
Backstage, Finn Balor walked towards the exit, when he was stopped by General Manager William Regal. Regal told him that he felt for him, understanding the loss in Cleveland being tough for him. “I want you to get back on track. So, I’m already in the process of looking into a special opponent for you at TakeOver. But next week, you’ll go one on one with Shelton Benjamin. No paint, no demon. Let’s see if you can right the ship.” Finn still seemed unsure, but thanked him for the opportunity.
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER’S MATCH – BAYLEY VS. BECKY LYNCH ENDED IN A NO CONTEST AT 10:55; A high quality main event that saw Bayley and Becky Lynch have a respectful battle. They both picked up several near falls. Bayley hit the Bayley to Belly, but Becky got her foot on the rope. She locked in the Dis-Arm-Her, but Bayley also reached the ropes. With both women down, Sasha Banks ran in and attacked both, resulting in the match being called.
As Sasha stomped on Becky in the corner, Bayley got up and grabbed her for the Bayley to Belly. Sasha slipped free and escaped outside. While Bayley checked on Becky, Sasha clutched her title and looked on as she backed up the stage. General Manager William Regal’s theme played to a pop. He scolded Sasha for her actions. “You cannot injure other women and then interfere to prevent them from getting a title shot. So, this is what we’re going to do. At TakeOver: Unstoppable, you will defend your NXT Women’s Championship against both Bayley and Becky Lynch, in a bloody Triple Threat match!” The fans roared, while Sasha Banks was left fuming on the stage. She looked back to see her two challengers standing side by side in the ring. “Sasha Banks has beaten both Bayley and Becky Lynch individually, but both at the same time? The Boss’ reign may be coming to an end,” said Rich Brennan.

- A Triple Threat for the NXT Women's Championship...Sasha Banks has to defend her championship against not only Becky Lynch but also against Bayley too...yeah she essentially has only herself to blame for getting herself into this match because this match a Triple Threat Match Sasha doesn't even have to be pinned or be made to submit to lose her title because Becky Lynch could make Bayley tap out or pin her and Sasha loses her title that way or Bayley could pin Becky Lynch or make her tap...Sasha loses the title that way either way Sasha doesn't have the champions advantage in this match
- Finn Balor should only use The Demon on special occasions but what Balor needs to do is form The Balor Club...have some of his NJPW buddies show up that being Gallows and Anderson and Balor joins forces with them

Cruiserweight Classic #3: April 15th, 2015 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
Following the WWE signature, a video package aired to preview the matches for tonight’s episode. Eight of the best competitors in the world under 205 pounds will get a chance to advance in the Cruiserweight Classic.
The Cruiserweight Classic opening video ran, before William Regal and Mauro Ranallo welcomed viewers. They promised another huge night of action, as we draw closer to the next round.
Continuing the trend of former Cruiserweight Champions as guest analysts, Jamie Noble ran down some of the bracket and potential second round matches. The first video package of the night gave information about the participants in the opening contest. First up, Clement Petiot. Petiot called himself the “French Revolution.” Trained by the likes of Lance Storm and Joey Ryan, Petiot has competed around Europe for over five years. His opponent, Matt Riddle, has been wrestling for less than two years, but the American was known for having one of the best knockouts in UFC history. CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – MATT RIDDLE DEF. CLEMENT PETIOT IN 7:34; Both men adhered to the handshake. Petiot avoided some big strikes from Riddle and took him to the ground. Riddle more than knew how to hold his own there, rolling Petiot over into various submissions. Petiot nearly decapitated Riddle with a lariat for a close near fall. He went for it again, but Riddle ducked and trapped in the Bromission, which made Petiot tap out. Mauro Ranallo and William Regal spent the next few minutes gushing over the opener and hyping the rest of the tournament. Viewers were now taken to a video package featuring the next two CWC competitors. First up, Andrade Almas. Almas made a name for himself in Mexico as La Sombra. He called himself “ungovernable” and claimed to want to cause as much chaos as possible. His opponent was Harv Sihra, brother of Gurv, who lost in the first CWC match to Tajiri. One half of the “Bollywood Boyz,” he looked to achieve the dream that his brother fell just short of accomplishing. CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – ANDRADE ALMAS DEF. HARV SIHRA IN 5:16; Andrade Almas did not shake hands with his opponent. Harv wrestled a similar style to his brother, bringing a lot of flair to his offense. He tried hard, but Almas put him down with a hammerlock DDT.
An ad ran to promote WWE 2K17.
Another preview video package was shown, setting up the next match. Representing Germany is Da Mack. The youngster trained under the likes of Cesaro, winning championships all around Europe. He brings charisma to the table and will dance his way through the tournament. His opponent is another charismatic star. Our lone Philippine rep, TJ Perkins. Though he’s just 30 years old, he’s already a 17-year veteran. Perkins is the youngest man to ever compete in the Tokyo Dome and has been making waves in Evolve over the past few years.
CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – TJ PERKINS DEF. DA MACK IN 6:31; Both guys looked to have fun in the ring, with Da Mack busting out a dance move here or there, and Perkins stopping in the middle of offense to showboat. Though Da Mack put up a good fight, Perkins made him tap out to a knee bar. Perkins will meet Cedric Alexander in the next round.
A commercial ran to show off some of the great NXT merchandise available on WWE Shop.
Before our main event, a final video package aired. The first man highlighted was Jack Gallagher. The mat wizard represents the United Kingdom, and has competed for almost a decade. Since he weighs just 167lbs, the “Gentleman” focuses on the mat to cut his opponents down to size. His opponent, Mustafa Ali, is from Chicago and represents Pakistan in the tournament. He clocks in at 182lbs and claimed to excel at every style of wrestling there is.
CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC FIRST ROUND – JACK GALLAGHER DEF. MUSTAFA ALI IN 8:26; This was the most competitive match of the tournament so far. Both Gallagher and Ali picked up several near falls. Though Ali managed to do well on the mat, that was clearly where Gallagher shined. He tied him into knots, but Ali fought free and went into a flurry of offense. He attempted his incredible imploding 450 splash, only for Gallagher to move out of the way. As soon as Ali got up, Jack met him with a huge dropkick to win. With that victory, Gallagher is scheduled to face fellow Brit Zack Sabre Jr.
To end the show, Jamie Noble spoke over clips of the guys involved in next week’s show. “Next week, we wrap up the opening round of the Cruiserweight Classic. It'll be a good time, when Anthony Bennett and Rich Swann collide in a battle of two American representatives. The UK's top prodigy, Will Ospreay, takes on American Samoa rep, Sean Maluta. Then, Mexico's Raul Mendoza goes up against the well-traveled star, Alex Shelley. Finally, two partners go at it when Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly battle for the final spot."

So it seems the next round of matches are set up with Riddle taking on Almas and TJP taking on Jack Gallagher? I mean isn't it that winners of every single match take on each other in the next round so on and so far because that is how this tournament bracket is set up right? Or will it be set up another way?
