The main reason I make this post and it may have been mentioned before but I might have missed it. I have almost every legend/flashback figure made by mattel and I do enjoy collecting them but the one thing I would like to see and I'm sure all of you would too is classic tag teams being made. I do enjoy the elite figures better but in order to get an elite version of a flashback tag team would be if ringside sold them as their exclusive which would cost between $40 and $50( just guessing) which I wouldn't mind paying but others may think that's too high. so I figured what if mattel did every series or every two or three, a flashback set? the concept works for the elite line so why not have them take a shot at this? think of all the great sets that can be made: powers of pain, the british bulldogs, steiner brother, hart foundation, killer bees, etc. does anyone else think this would be a good idea?

I think it could work as long as they short-pack them and keep it to the big teams and rivalries. A lot of the two-packs seem to sell pretty poorly as is, so I think they're struggling to make appealing packs from the current roster.
Flashback two-packs I'd like to see:
Stone Cold Steve Austin (What shirt and jean shorts) & The Rock (track pants & blue Brahma Bull shirt) with two mics
Hulk Hogan & Ultimate Warrior (SummerSlam 1991 maybe) with bandana for Hogan
New Age Outlaws with water bottle and mic
Edge (green tights) & Christian (white tights) with chair
APA with door

Almost positive that happens.

Yes but if only so I can keep saying "Flashback Battle Pack." I must insist that Hogan says the words "Flashback Battle Pack, jack!" on live tv.

Being a Flashback collector I feel cheated when a FB is released in basic form.

I think it would be the only way we could get some of the Flashback Divas and wrestlers that they wouldn't make in elite form. Like Savage or HBK with Sherri, Goldust & Marlena, Bam Bam & Luna, Doink with Dink

100% and I've really been asking for this kind of thing since the beginning. I like Basic figures and wanted to see Mattel incorporate more Flashback looks into the Basic waves, even before the Legends line ended. 2packs, Heritage, doesn't matter to me. What matters is that we get the largest array of wrestlers possible. I love the idea of doing the manager packs. That would be a nice way to get Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Sherri, Sunny, and Marlena, assuming Mattel can make that happen. Doing guys like HBK and Hogan in attires you can only get in those 2-packs would seemingly sell imo. It would be a good way to get Anvil too. Macho Man vs Evil Crush in a Mania X BP would be awesome. Just a bunch of packs that could happen, and that I believe would move better than a lot of the current roster stuff we are seeing over-and-over again.

Like when we get Luger give us an Allied Powers battle pack in basic......since we have the NAO in DX style give them to us in their 97 pre DX attire so on and so forth. possibilities are endless so here is my list of Basic FB BPs I would like to see Mega Powers from Summerslam 1988 Ultimate Maniacs Allied Powers Road Warriors from 1997 DX in molded shirts and combat pants(2 great sets to be had there) Austin vs Mcmahon(civvie attires) Hogan & Nash in NWO shirts and jeans ah here I could go on all day........but Ill finish with this.....it would also allow mattel to keep their BP lineups a LOT fresher.

This would be a great idea even if it was just one flashback per every series or every other. It gives basic collectors a chance to get more legends and it may even free up shelf space at the stores because there won't be that one battle pack that warms the shelves. The possibilities are endless. I know I would love to see some tag teams or even classic feuds like
Edge/Christian Too cool Natural disasters Kane/X-Pac New Age Outlaws Hogan/Macho Man or Warrior APA Or the Outsiders or a combination of Ramon/Diesel/HBK

I was also wondering if this could work in the basics line? I thought what if we got a flashback every set or every other set as well. I thought I'd post this here rather than make another thread. anyone wanna see this done also?

Flair vs Sting (Great American Bash 1990) Hollywood Hogan vs Sting Wolfpack Nash and Sting Flair vs Luger (1989)

We got one already with the Brock/Batista BP set and half of one with the Warrior/Sheamus set....so it is very likely...

Definitely! This is our only shot at many classic tag teams, and the basic heritage lines are the only way we might see some of the midcarders and jobbers that people want. So many of them just will not ever get an elite flashback slot. It would also make elite fix-ups possible and much easier for those who don't want basics.

I would buy these for sure. Her's i'd like to see: Razor and HBK From WM X with a orange ladder Hollywood Hogan and The Rock with a rubber NWO Shirt Edge and(if a possiblity) Mick Foley with a Table. One Flashback out of the 3 in each wave. That's what I like to see.
