Overall its a good game I think Hawkeye is the best in the game followed by Captain America. especially once you start powering them up. Thor is ok

Okay I hope I can ask this with out sounding like a crazy person.. I just got the Base set for 1.0 today for a late Birthday gift (YAY ME!!) here is my question... Since I now have the base for 1.0 do I really need to buy the base for 2.0?? or just the game?? and can I use the base for 1.0 for the Marvel Heroes if I just buy the game? also I got Mike and Barbossa and on there trading card there is a code. What is this code for? and how do I use it?

However the DI2.0 game comes with the base anyway so I don't think it really matters. None of the new characters for DI2.0 work on Disney Infinity 1. The code is for the PC version of the game. It unlocks that character for the PC.

From what I seen on the PS4 the figure pieces are compatible but you need Ver 1.0 to play the 1.0 games and the2.0 to play the 2.0 games. Meaning I can use the v1 Lone Ranger and Tonto in the Ver 2.0 toy box, but I can't play the Toy Box that came with the Lone Ranger and Tonto on 2.0

Does anyone know if there will be 3 packs of characters in the future similar to DI1?? I think they said that they're not doing that anymore.

Well after putting in what, over two months into this game I have to say I am just so disappointed. My son and I could not have been any more excited for this game and on launch day we went all out and I mean all out! I do not think I have ever dropped as much on a video game as I did this launch day. And why would I not?
My son and I both really enjoyed the first Disney Infinity game, bought all the play sets and most of the figures and had a great time. We love Marvel! so taking what was already a fun game and adding some of our favourite super heroes into it had to be amazing..... right? Game was developed with writers who actually work at Marvel
I mean everything added up to this game being amazing, but the end result is if you are not huge into making toybox games then this is a very and I hate to use this term, but its what I feel best describes the game "half assed" game! The Avengers play set should have been huge! to make up for the fact the first game in the series had three playsets. Some will argue that you do get the two toy box games, but these are not full games. the first Disney Infinity game playsets had far more personality and were just way more fun than any of these and I say that as a guy (my son as well) who is not a huge die hard Disney fan.
I have said it before, but each play set feels like they made it with as little effort as possible. I mean two of them use more or less the same levels! The variety of enemies is poor as is the amount of different Marvel characters in each play set. Now if you are big into toy box mode I am sure the game is amazing, but for me and my son it was mainly about playing through the adventures and all three of them were average at best. I would say the Guardians one was the best, but even that suffered from repetitive missions.
The coolest thing about this game are the actual figures, but if you want a Marvel video game that offers pure fan service, Lego Marvel Super Heroes offers way more fun and replay value than this does.
I can't be the only one really disappointed am I? or who feels like they did as little as they thought they could get away with.
When the inevitable Star Wars Infinity comes out I sure as hell will not be going all out the way I did for this one!

If you are buying it just for the playsets then no it is not worth it. the figures are cool and make for cool collectables, but if you want a game that offers a ton of Marvel fan service then Lego Marvel is a better video fame.

I really loved the playsets in DI1. I can't believe they cut them by half this time, and NONE were Disney. It's been a major criticism of this game from most fans, so hopefully for 3, they'll have more.

I am not even a huge Disney fan and I loved the play sets from the first game, especially the Toy Story one. And while I am not a huge Disney fan its crazy that a game called Disney Infinity does not have a Disney playset!the playsets in the first game were well thought out had less repetitive missions and in general were just more fun and interesting to play As a kid I loved the Aladdin games on the SNES and Mega Drive and I enjoyed the Aladdin part of Kingdom Hearts. Aladdin was tailor made to have a playset based on it. Big Hero 6 as well should have had a playset. I get that their main focus was the toy box, but as impressive as some of the toy boxes I have downloaded are, none are a substitute for a real playset. I will for sure buy the starter pack for DI3, but no way in hell will I be buying anything else right away.

So I want ahead and bought 2.0 off the PlayStation store (I have a PS3) for $20.00 just to see if my base from the 1.0 would work. to my delight it does...So now I have both games and only one base. so now to collect the figures for them... I'm thinking on skipping the Marvel stuff

I'm thinking on skipping the Marvel stuff If you skip the Marvel stuff, you won't get ANY playsets. True but I think I'll get them at some point... but I was thinking the other day that so many possibilities and endless supply of Disney stuff to put into the Infinity Universe. I myself could think of a bunch of Characters being made for a whole new generation to enjoy. But let’s be real half of what I can think of now body would remember or care… But I would like to see Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Scrooge McDuck Darkwing Duck Max (Goofy’s Son) Goofy Peg Leg Pete Peter Pan Captain Hook Tarzan Horace Horse-collar Professor Ludwig von Drake Davy Crockett Walt Disney (I think it would be awesome to make a toy box as Walt Disney) And many more play sets for the Disney Characters… As far as the Marvel stuff goes I don’t think they can do any more due to the fact the Fox owns the rights to the X-Men and the Fantastic 4, and I really don’t think we’ll get a Deadpool or a Punisher due to the fact they are high on the violence scale.. But they can do a Dare Devil and other Marvel stuff..Plus Star Wars
