For those that don't visit the WWE Network thread often, I figured I'd share that the special currently airing on Daniel Bryan is an entirely new documentary with all new footage and interviews spanning Bryan's entire career, including Ring of Honor footage, backstage footage leading to Mania (and including Mania), and brand new interviews with Bryan, Cena, Brie, Sheamus, Rollins, Cesaro, and more.
They've covered his firing, getting kicked off Wrestlemania 27, the 18 second affair, and more. It's been a fantastic watch, so I figured I'd let people know it's not just some compilation of Raw clips as a lot of us probably believed.

I'm watching the Shield vs. The Wyatts from Main Event right now, but I'm going to watch this next. Sounds like something I'm going to love.

My fear is that they are going to over expose Daniel Bryan and sooner or later people are going to get really sick of him....

Bryan is such a humble guy. Never let's the fame get to him and just loves what he does.

My fear is that they are going to over expose Daniel Bryan and sooner or later people are going to get really sick of him.... You have to strike when the iron is hot! Look how over exposed Hogan, The Rock, Austin, HBK, DX, nWo, Orton, and Cena have been. When people like someone, over exposer means they will see that person more ofton. If WWE keeps Bryan going with the crowd, they can easily build the next guy, or one of the next guys to carry the company after the likes of Cena and Orton. Although I don't see either one leaving WWE for awhile, its good to have that next guy in your deck when a faithful member leaves.

This is the kind of thing I wanted the Network to do. Run specials and shows about the current product so that the nostalgia of having the On Demand service isn't the only thing.

Bryan is such a humble guy. Never let's the fame get to him and just loves what he does. Yea a lot of people in this documentary are saying he really deserves this and it immediately made me think of Punk fans saying well Punk deserves it more.....but the difference is Punk by all accounts is a prick and Bryan on the other hand has patiently waited his turn and is a very respectful humble man......so I guess nice guys dont always finish last...

Yeah, it was awesome. You can tell how uncomfortable he is being in that John Cena spot. He doesn't have that Cena, Hogan, Rock type of drive where he wants to be that star or center stage guy. He just wants to be recognized as the most talented wrestler, which I think he's already done. Regardless where he goes from here, whether he comes back to earth or only continues to get bigger, he proved everything he needed to on Sunday. The fans picked him, supported him and stuck with him, and WWE didn't ignore it, or rather they couldn't ignore it. If Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels opened the door for the way people viewed a WWE Champion, then it will be Bryan who is remembered for kicking the entire wall down. I don't even think he realizes what he's done for all the guys who will come after him, because it's significant imo.
Regardless, it was cool to see his week, and for them to cover some of his ROH days, and him being fired, and essentially the low points of his time in WWE. It was an ongoing joke on the internet when Miz was Daniel Bryan's NXT mentor, and it was funny that they acknowledged that situation in fewer words. Loved that he talked about Mania 27 & 28 as well. I was a part of that post Mania 28 Raw crowd, and it's something I will never forget. The guy deserves everything he's gotten to experience these last few months, and it's great that he's enjoying the ride, which is what all the fans should be doing right now.
Oh and yeah, the Network is well worth the $10 this month haha.

I will admit there were parts of this mini-documentary that made my want to cry and get really emotional. I appreciate the sacrifices Daniel Bryan makes every day and this mini-doc just proves that. I am glad they got some of his earlier footage and cover the high and low points of his WWE career. Daniel Bryan doesn't realize he allowed that proverbial door to be kept wide open for future stars to follow his lead. I'm glad that Brie Bella got to speak a lot on here and I will say I wish there was more women with her mindset. When Bryan is retired from the industry he will be in a league of his own.

It was a nice documentary.
This is the type of stuff the Network should do all the time. Not just for Wrestlemania.

That was an amazing video. Thanks for posting. Makes you incredibly happy for Daniel Bryan. He is such a class act and deserves everything he has gotten in his career.

From what I gathered now that this mini-doc has sunk into my mind, Daniel Bryan's legacy will surpass CM Punk's. Daniel Bryan doesn't believe in his own hype and is a very humble man who tries his best to cherish the moments. Essentially, unlike CM Punk Daniel Bryan is at the right place and time. I would also suggest listening to Daniel Bryan on The Steve Austin Show from last year. Like Steve Austin, Daniel Bryan is one-of-a-kind.
