Has anyone else checked out eBay recently for Warrior figures and various Warrior merchandise?? The prices for some figures are NUTS now!! There's a Jakks WWE Classic Ring Giant Warrior going for $167 plus $25 for shipping!! A series #1 WWF Hasbro MOC figure is going for $109.52 plus $23 for shipping!! Some, if not most, of these eBay sellers are a bunch of vultures out to make money. It's really sad and unfortunate that when someone famous dies, their merchandise is in higher demand and the value goes up. I do have a few Warrior figures in my collection and they will stay that way. I've had them for many years now and have no intention of doing what these vultures on eBay are doing. I don't agree with it for a second. Its disgusting. While I have sold a couple of Ultimate Warrior figures in the past (CS12 because I started collecting Mattel Warriors and Legends 6 to a friend who was also a big Ultimate Warrior fan), I will no longer be selling any more Ultimate Warrior figures on ebay.

Don't care how high these go on Ebay, I am way happier having these in my collection than trying to make a buck on his passing....

I've never had a problem with anyone buying a hot figure to flip, and I've done it probably a dozen times over the Jakks/Mattel years. But when I saw both UW basics and Elites the day after he died, I just couldn't buy them to flip. It wasn't because I'm a Warrior fan (I'm not), but I'm a dad and husband just like he was. There is a lady and her daughters trying to get through sleepless nights right now, and I just didn't feel justified in making money, even partly, off of a terrible situation. I left the toy aisle feeling depressed.

With Warrior dying do you think they might honour that idea he had at the HOF of awarding someone behind the scenes for their contributions to WWE, can't remember the name of the guy he said?

The name was Jimmy Miranda. As for whether they will actually honor Warrior's wishes of giving a long-term employee that award, that remains to be seen. We will find out at next year's Hall of Fame.

I know it's been almost a week since his passing, but I still can't wrap my head around it. Seeing pics of him from Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, I never thought he would be gone by Tuesday. Crazy man, just crazy.

Crazy man, just crazy. I hear ya man... I think its the fact that he wasnt in our faces for such a long time, then we get the announcement that he is getting inducted, then finally for 3 days we get to see him, and everything is going so smooth, then it just gets taken away from us, with no real answers...just Gone after waiting so long for him to come back...I watch that youtube tribute to him every now and then, and it just feels wierd that its for him because he is dead... I remember when I used to go through old magazines with him in it, and when i'd watch his old matches and look at his figures, i would always wonder if he would come back, or i'd play out how I would want him to come back, and now when I watch his old stuff, i know he isnt coming back anymore...so strange

It was a great way to end the final chapter.

TMZ.com is reporting that according to the medical examiner who conducted the autopsy, The Ultimate Warrior died of a massive heart attack brought on by "Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease", aka heart disease.
Furthermore, officials classified Warrior's death as "natural," meaning neither drugs nor alcohol were directly involved.

It wasn't going to be drugs or suicide like a lot of trolls tried to bring up, that's not something he would do. But there's a lot of things that led to the heart disease. His dad and grandfather died in their 50s of heart related issues. He talked about steroid use in the heyday, it wasn't the reason he died, but didn't help considering the family history. In his HOF speech he spoke about life on the road, no time off and getting only 3 hours sleep a night for weeks and months at a time. Terrible stress on the heart. On the subject of this sinking in...I don't know that it will for a long time.

I knew it was a massive heart attack, just going on what TMZ reported when it happened. They reported Warrior and his wife were walking to their car when Warrior clutched his chest and collapsed. How could that possibly sound like ANYTHING other than a massive heart attack?? Come on. He was 54 years old, so he didn't do drugs and certainly didn't drink. Warrior was a fitness fanatic who LOVED working out to the extreme and pushing his body to the absolute limits and beyond. Warrior was a legend in wrestling. He impacted the lives of so many, me included. The spirit of Ultimate Warrior will run forever, just as he said one week ago on Monday Night Raw. I will never forget you Warrior and I thank you for all the awesome memories you left behind. Rest In Peace

I was at this match with Rick Rude on now. My first live WWF event.
Rude sold an atomic drop better than anyone.

Crazy man, just crazy. You and I are alike in this department. What is sad now that the Ultimate Warrior is deceased is from the time he won the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam '88 till the time Mr. Perfect lost the title at SummerSlam '91, all those guys are now dead (Ultimate Warrior, Rick Rude, Kerry Von Erich, & Curt Hennig). Late-80's, Early-'90's WWF is just going to get sadder to watch as the years progress. It is sad to know that about half of the talents who appears at SummerSlam '91 are deceased.
