Anyone have any ideas on how to modify new boot molds to fit the older elite pegs?

Are you talking about the shoe itself or the entire boot to the calf? Why can't you just use the calf that the boot came with?

Shave the length of the peg little by little. Just keep the boots in hot water as you make adjustments for easy on and off when fitting. Make sure you get the spacer ring at the top next to the leg because that will hold the boot off even when the peg is short enough to work.
