Just got done sending a fellow Canadian WFer a package of 2....TWO...only 2 figs, and the cost was $19.93 ($7 MORE than I charged for the figures shipped!!). Feeling so butthurt right now. Looked into Purolator (since our company SUPPOSEDLY gets a discount), and it was going to be $30. Unreal...my trading days may be just about over (at least inside Canada...domestic inside the States is still somewhat reasonable).
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but these new rates are RIDICULOUS!!

hmm, i guess it all depends where your from and where in canada you send? I just received a package form a fellow member, and it was 2 full figs, half another fig, couple figure jackets, and accessories, and with tracking came to 9.95

Spose you are right...I was shipping from the West Coast to the East Coast (BC to NFLD) so that likely had something to do with it...
Just frustrating that I can send the same package from Washington State to Florida for $6

Canada post prices are terrible..have been terrible for a long time.. and getting even worse...
considering i can send a figure to California for like $2-3 cheaper than i can send to my next door neighbour shows you something...

kasper.. its cheaper within your own province and depending where to send.. i sent 4 dvds in an envelope (not small enuff to be letter mail) from Toronto to Hamilton and it cost about $9 after tax to ship... another package i did to brantford was about $10 taxes in...
edit: quick note, i am using my venture one card that gives a small discount.. its free so why not

Try shipping from USA to Canada. Brutally expensive.
I have a "venture one" card and it includes insurance and tracking. I had to ship two pairs of shoes to Montreal. Fairly heavy (docs). It cost me $19.
I normally get quotes before shipping anything. I've lost on deals. It sucks. I've over charged. I've felt like a jerk. It sucks.

ya to ship those heavy shoes would be PRICEY!!
i just did some shipping today... ultimate warrior LJN figure from Toronto to California was $22 cheapest shipping with tracking....4 LJN posters and about 6 LJN bio cards..$18 with tracking to Chicago....that one i could have risked without tracking for like $10-12...but now i almost never ship without tracking because i have gotten lost a few times within Canada and about 5 times overseas...maybe even more.. never Canada to USA... but if i do ship that method, its all on the person..if it gets lost, dont come to me for refund lol

Haha this is totally our trade you're talking about! This is why I always say before the trade that tracking isn't necessary. It's so expensive through canada post!

^ talking to me or the op? either way, Hi!
within canada, unless its a letter less than 500g, u are automatically going to get tracking on ANY item u send...
but to USA, i probably coulda send those posters and bio cards for about $5 to USA without tracking but went with $18 with tracking so that the item has some sort of track method...
i personally have NOT lost a non tracked item to USA yet (knock on wood) but I have had 2 letters go lost in Canada (just during my wrestling trades.. a few before then as well) and also probably like 4 items to Europe/Australia... so i dont even bother offering shipping outside of Canada and USA anymore..
